Are we alone in this universe?

Are we alone in this universe?
When you think about how large the universe is, you start to realise how insignificant and small we really are. Think about how many different planes and galaxies there are that we don't even know about. So is not logical to think that there surely is some other life in this universe and that we are not alone at all? It would not surprise me if one day we found life on another planet, maybe they won't be aliens as we think but more living organisms on planets. What do you guys think would happen when we first make contact with aliens? Do you think they will find us or will we discover them?

I think it's very logical to assume that we are not alone. As to the question of what I think would happen if contact were made with aliens, there are records of many contacts already made. I believe that the government or what you could call the "shadow government" know that they exist and have proof of it and may even be interacting with them. As the last days are being played out aliens are starting to become a major topic of conspiracy theories. I personally believe that there are good ones and that there are evil ones. I can't prove this myself, maybe someone else has proved it, but it's what I believe.

For my own opinion, I believe we are not alone in this universe. The universe is wide and unreachable so that no one knows what does it have. I believe in extra terrestrial elements because universe consists different system aside from solar system. Aliens are a just example of UFO that is bound to believe visiting our planet. There is evidence supporting the story wherein their spaceship flying across different countries. I know most of us don't believe these stories and respect that. We have different perception and opinions the important is we respect each other when it comes to the universe and what behind it.

I really do not know if I believe in extraterrestrials but it stands to reason that with the size of the universe that there must be something else out there. If you believe the people who claim to have been abducted, then contact has already been made between aliens and humans. I guess I just need undisputed proof of them before I will say that I believe in them.

Maybe we are maybe we aren't, even if there was evidence of another life out there in the universe would the government share it. But in my views, I do not think we are alone and I think those who suggest that we are alone then just think of it this way. There are many planets and new ones been discovered recently and will probably be more and who is to say there is not another life on those planets. We have life on this planet so who is to say there isn't on the other planets.

I wont say I believe in aliens, but I wont say, that I don`t. Our planet is just one small particle in a vast endless universe, so apparently, there are other unknown planets, inhabited by other living species. Human beings are very foolish to consider themselves progressive and intelligent. If we would know all the exciting truth about Universe, I am sure, we would be less arrogant and selfish, believing that we are masters here. If aliens do exist I am sure they already discovered us, while we just make our theories.

Given that the universe is just so vast and there are a lot of galaxies containing different kinds of planets, I have to say that there are at least more than one planet that has life in it. There are also galaxies that have a solar system that might even be identical to ours. We have no evidence yet that there exists aliens but I believe it is because we do not have the technology for exploration outside of the galaxy yet, and as long as we do not have that requirement, our only hopes of discovering that is actually life outside Earth is that if some aliens do try to visit us first. I'm hoping that with the intellect of these aliens to be able to build spaceships capable of travelling across the universe, they wouldn't have the interest on predating on us, but rather they'd just study us in a non-harmful way and if possible even make good relationships with them.

I'm actually not a fan of any of the arguments out there for alien life. Let me qualify what I'm about to say by noting I BELIEVE there's other life out there. But beliefs are not the same thing as facts, and the facts are not very useful in this situation. That's because we have none. For starters, saying that the universe is big brings nothing to the table. We have zero data that tells us whether we're dirt common, or whether something very remarkable happened here. People like to quote statistics, but the problem with statistics is that they are measures of probability, not reality. Even a strong measure of probability can be wrong. It's incredibly unlikely you'll die in a tornado. But people do every year and their chances were no better or worse than yours. Statistics are unreliable in the absence of observable evidence. Like they say, there's lies, damned lies, and statistics. The Fermi Paradox offers us nothing but more questions and no one has ever shown actual proof anything else out there exists. That last part is the one that bothers me the most. It did happen here, that much we can say with certainty. The fact we can't find it anywhere remotely near us in the solar system when those objects are so close really puts a dent in the "life is common" argument. What we can say is Earth is special. It's special enough that nothing else around has life but it does. What we don't know is how special. Given what little information we have, the notion that we're a lone aberration in an empty universe is equally plausible as the notion that the universe is teaming with life at the broadest scale.

The universe is so big that it's literally impossible that our planet is the only one that developped life, so I think we are definetely not alone in this universe. But the "aliens" of course aren't like the ones we see in movies or games, on this point I agree with you: I think that the alien life is composed by organisms, maybe so little that we aren't even able to see them with our technology. Maybe even in our solar system there are very tiny living organisms in other planet, but we won't know for a thousand years, or maybe never.

If you mean by alone is that we are the only sentients in the universe, it is like saying your family is the only existing family on earth. The universe is a vast expanse according to astronomers. I believe that we have touched just a small part of the universe with our telescopes. The probability that beings like us exist in a planet that is millions or maybe billions of lightyears away gets higher as the distance increases. Maybe not in our lifetime but the day will come that man and aliens will meet.

I don't think there are any other beings or creatures living on planet Earth except humans and animals. Every planet has a certain body that can live and adapt and fit the environment. It is impossible for aliens to survive on earth because they don't have a body. You need a human body to be able to live on Planet Earth, that just the way it is. And if you have a body, whether human or animal body, then you have a right to live here on Earth. Planet Earth is not made to accommodate any foreign body except those of humans and animals.

I do believe that we're not alone in this universe. It's just almost impossible to believe so for me that we're the only intelligent life there is and that we are made purely by accident and luck. I do think that there are others out there, maybe they've already found us but refuse to let us know they exist because it's quite typical that humans would always want to attack/capture those things that they have only seen for the first time, and this might also be the case with them.

We are definitely not alone in the universe. We simply can't reach them, can't see them even. Do you know that light from the other side of the universe probably won't reach us? The universe is expanding faster than how fast light travels. It will come to the point that we wouldn't even get to see nearby star systems we see today. We have to act now if we want to meet other beings.

I don't think that we are alone in the universe. There must be others civilization as well, maybe not smarter than us but there must be someone! Thre are so many planets, our Earth it cannot be the only planet where are living organisms! Besides, I already think that aliens took a contact with human authorities until now but we are too small to know about this!

I don't think we are alone in the universe. Considering how vast and the complex universe is, it's worth thinking that we are definitely not alone. And we have to understand that universe may present us with different form of problems. And we can't really solve all of them. Considering once in 1977 we have got the WOW signal back from some galaxy. I am assuming it's possible that there are people in this universe in different looks and forms.

This is the most intriguing question ever. My answer woukd be no. Planet Earth can sustain life because of some geneeal factors such as water, athmosphere and diatance from the sun. I don't know how to put this in numbers but I know that our universe is big. There is a huge chance that there is a planet somewhere in space that has those qualities to nurture life.

There will also be a possibility that some planet may not be like ours but still supports life because living things are adaptable. So for me, I am a believer that there are other life forms out there, they may look like us or much unique that hoe we imagined it would be.

This question opens us up to a lot of possibilities. Are there living organisms on other planets or galaxies? There is a possibility. I believe every universe has its own complexities.Through this complexities,it makes it possible for these universes operate in their own unique way,and to some extent support life in it's own way.

I think that the universe is to big for us to be alone here on Earth. Maybe one say we will discover this other life, but I don't think that it will be discovered in my lifetime.

I don't think humans are the only species and am sure that other species have been on earth and left. I think this should make us more aware of trying to save earth as a planet as we, as a race are destroying it with various things such as pollution and climate change. I also feel there are many things that are kept secret so as not to scare the public, because if we did know there are other species what would happen? People would get paranoid as we can see, and overreact.

The universe is so big that the chances of life on other planets are very high, it's almost certain that there has to be something out there. We do not know however what to expect and where to look for it. The distances are huge and we still don't have the technology to find "the aliens".

Probably not. We can't even tell right now if there are really inhabitants on Mars, or the other side of the moon. Lol. As what these people are saying, the universe is just too big and we haven't even reached some of the neighboring planets. How much more on the further parts of the world. Scary.

I think that there could be any possibilities, because the universe is very very huge, and we do not have the technology to access to other planets and communicate to other form of life, I think that there are a lot of chances to communicate to other species, but there is a little possibility that there is no life, but we will be sure of that just when we go that places and communicate to that forms of life.

i dont think so, we live in a vast universe with a lot of misteries and only a fool can think that we are the only inteligent and living beings in this great and danger world who us call life.

I think it would be a little selfish of us to think we are alone in a huge area of the universe. I believe that we are not alone and in a certain moment, we will make contact with other beings of other planets.

We are not alone on this world when we are living. There have another creation by muslim world that is called angel world. Basically its called Jean by Bangla language. On the holly Uqran- the great creator has been said on a part- "I have been created Jin and Insan for my pray". Insan means human and Jin are available up to seven world. So we are not alone. There have another creation on the great creator world. If you real the holly Quran by English than you will get details idea.

Thanks Centurion

I dont beleive that we are alone in the universe. I do believe that there may be other living beings on other planets. I don't think they would be the same as us because of temperatures and atmosphere but I do beleive that they exist. I am not sure if they look how we always see aliens to look and I doubt that they fly around in ufos and explore our planet. Some day we may figure it out and it would not surprise me at all of they found life on other planets to exist.

I don't think we are alone. The universe is so vast and huge more than we could possibly know. There has to be at least one other species of life out there. There's hundreds of trillions of planets, there only needs to be one other like Earth that supports life. There might even be other life not similar to here on earth. So they could survive on planets unlike Earth. Only time will tell though...a long long time.

Well, for me I can not say that we are alone or there are other living organisms in the universe..because no one has seen any living organisms in the universe (Out of the earth) also no one have discovered the whole the universe so, no one can say if there are other living organisms or not.

We actually don't know. Personally I think that we are not alone, but the thing is that we have 2017 years living here and everything seem to be pretty normal, in terms of meeting new species apart from humans and animals. I don't believe in those videos or pictures from people who said that aliens or ovnies exists, sorry, they all look terrible, I won't be cheated that easy.

I don't think we are alone in this universe. Our solar plannet is in in Milky Way Galaxy, there might be other solar systems in our galaxy. Milky way galaxy is one galaxy in this universe, there are many galaxies such asd milky way galaxy. On each galaxies there are solar systems and some plannets in these solar systems may have life force.

It'd be pretentious from us to think that we are alone giving that the size of the universe is 93 billion light-years. I don't want even start to visualize it, but we don't know what level of intelligence might be in other planets, there are so many an infinite number of probabilities of how other civilizations might look like, there might be other colors then green.

People say the Universe is infinite, so it's not too far fetched to believe that there are other life forms out there. There are probably billions (many more than that) of beings and creatures in the Universe and they may be intelligent or just microorganism, similar to us or completely different, big, small, humanoid, solid, liquid, ... the possibilities are endless.

By your question, I am assuming you think of us including the human beings and animals and not the paranormal beings. There have been a lot of sightings of paranormal beings around the globe whether they were Spirits, Genies, ET or Aliens. I believe that all these sorts of things are present and man has yet to enter their realm. Alien means not belonging to the EARTH. There are so many people who have claimed to see four legged humans and UFO. My faith is that they do come to study us as they are more advanced than us.There are literally thousands of planets like Earth and thinking of them as mere stars/rocks is stupidity.

We are not alone in the universe. There are still many things that God created that will be difficult for humans to know. God can only give humans the knowledge of those things of his creation that will be beneficial to humans.
