Are you a member of any political party?
Politics is a game according to a lot of people. However, I think that politics is a platform for those that wants to lead to keep pushing to do so. While I was in the University, I was a member of a political party (People Democratic Party) and our votes always contribute to picking the right leader. Are you a member of a political party in your area?

No, I am not a member of any political party in my area mainly because I am not into politics. A lot of politician in my country are corrupted, I am not saying everyone is corrupted, but it is hard for me to trust politics because I grew up in a country where politicians are so corrupted. This is only my opinion and I am not saying my opinion is correct.

We really don't know who's good and who's bad in the politics. It is because there are a lot of people in there who have a sacred mask but with an evil desire.

Politics happens to be a dirty game and avoiding it is the best option. Am not a member of any political party. I will not vie for any political seat either.

I think we can do better without this mindset, if everyone decides to stay aloof and not participate then we give room to miscreats to continue to rule. Good people should get more involved.

It seem you are a Nigerian that's my party too. I just hope everyone has gotten their PVC so that we can bite out some legendary thieves that have holding the country hostage for too long.

I recently talked to one local politician here in my area a few months ago and he mentioned to me how much money is needed to run for a local post. It is really high and it really just solidified my belief that all politicians take money from us because they sure are not going to get back the money they spend during campaigns just by their monthly pay alone. I just accepted that fact and just choose politicians that do more for the community because I kind of don't have a choice at this point.

No, I'm not a member of any political party. If I were given an offer to join one, I wouldn't ever do it. The world of politics is just so noisy and dirty. It's not close to my personality.

Indeed being in the power and being a political member is not that easy. People have to understand that some of the time it can be a bit harder to work around those things. So it's better to be without political parties.

Well, the old thieves in power is making it look as if politics is a no go place but it isn't they just want to scare people off so that they continue to be in authority and steal the masses. I believe people should get more involved. It will be better.

I'm not a member of any political party. Politics in our local is so dirty. Most people would only vote when they received money in exchange for their votes. Killings on politicians and their supporters happens. I am a member of a religion where we vote with unity. We vote what the majority have agreed upon and we are not allowed to receive any money or ask a favor from politicians in exchange of our votes. But no matter how dirty politics is, we still exercise our right to vote as a citizen without any intention of receiving back from the politicians for personal gains.

When dealing with block voting because of religion, how do they check that you voted for the politician that they endorse? Do they just trust all their members and members who vote otherwise will just have to deal with it personally that they disobeyed? Or is it more of a strong endorsement and not necessarily that every member should vote that way? I am sorry to bombard you with these questions, I am just curious. Hope you answer back. Thanks.

I am not a member of any political party. I've been a supporter of some politician in our area whom I believe were the right person for leadership. I am glad that those people I voted and supported to were turned out to be good leader. However, being involved in some political activity makes me experience the dark and dirty side of politics. I have experienced receiving death threats personally from the opposition. After that incident, I chose to distance myself from any political related activities.

Even our mayor here said that whatever degree of goodness that the place is aimibg for, there will always be someone who would take the dark path of his own advantage. I just don't want to be part of it. I have to lay my hands off this field. It's not for me .

I do not involve myself in politics. Today's politics are all corrupt and blaming the opposition so there is nothing for people in politics. Lot of fake promises before the elections and not fulfilling them all is a major area of concern. People should use their power of vote to go against the government if they feel they are being cheated.

True. There is always lots of fake promises and they always blame the opposition. They have something bad to say about each other. Politics is indeed, very dirty. You never know what is the truth. Most politicians in my country are corrupt. I am so tired of all these false promises.

Our power is not just in voting but we should also be voted for. If we take active part in politics we will continue to suffer from old criminals that are in power. Sitting and looking isn't enough.

Politicians should walk the talk not just talk, talk, and talk and corrupt. I know not all politicians are like that, but here in our country, most politicians who runs are a set of families. I fond it disturbing because for sure they just want to take the power.

That's very true. It's really giving me headache hearing a lot of news about two opposing parties fighting for what they think is right. Even looking at the slightest unimportant detail to make it as an issue. My goodness, it's just tiing to her them out.

I am not familiar with how politics work and so I refuse to talk about it especially on social media because it wouldn't make sense for me to yap and yap about it without knowing enough about politics and I've never been interested in politics, I mean I go out and vote but other than that I don't pay attention to anything politics.

Although i do vote in every election that takes place in my country , i am still not a menber of any party. I dont believe that one has to be a part of a political party in order to contribute positively to the development of the Society. Also i wont like to be identified with a single Political party and its ideology. Being a part of a political party also requires to dedicate some of your time to its activities and programmes and i am too busy to do that right now.

I’m not. I try and pay attention to politics but I don’t have any kind of affiliation with any party. I just try and have awareness of the candidates and their policies and make an informed decision when it comes to my vote.

I am not a member of any political party because politics for me is a very dirty game. Most politicians lie about caring for the people and the country, they always say this but they have their best interest at heart. In my country most politicians are corrupt, you never know who is the honest one.

I don't support any party. All of them are same. And all of them do this for the money. And they can manipulate anyone and do any thing to stay in power. So one has to understand that part if you ask me. So that being said, you can see that political parties are not easy to handle.

Are you a member of any political party: I am not a member of any political party, I only give my vote to the one that for me is capable on the said position in which I know that she/he know the limitation and know what's the responsibilities that she/he need to face. And it iis really sad but its true that the politivs now is dirty, they are buying your vote just for them to win, or worstly will kill their opponents by hiring someone to have no competition will happens.

No, I am not and I will never be. You may wonder why I said that I will never be the member of political party. Well, let me tell you. I do not believe in politics. Whoever rules the country, the state, the result is basically the same. Common people are unemployed, seeking jobs, living in poverty, on margins and some politicians are "drowning" in money. To simply put it- I think that politics destroyed the World we live in. And I think that politics is just the way they, the leaders, tend to control us, people.

I try to avoid politics as much as possible whether in government, organization or even in school. The thing is that at first, they'll be concerned with how things are going but I believe that there comes the point where they use their position for their very own personal gains. It's inevitable, and that's what I don't like about the system.

I am an apolitical person because I know how politics work. It is not good for a decent and quite person like me. There was a time when my husband was invited to help in the campaign of a senatorial candidate. He gave it some time but not all of his time. The candidate won and until now she remains a senator. But I don’t consider me and my husband as political persons because we prefer a quiet life.

No, I am not a member of any political group but if I will be, I'll make sure that I'll make a voice for the right. Politics could be a dirty game for other people that is why I wanted to help our country to have a better government someday. Truly a single vote could make a big difference to the future of a country.

Yes. you don't have to be in a political party to do your responsibilities. I've been an active Youth Leader in our area that supports the youth sector to become a more responsible person and God-fearing individuals. Our main purpose is to bring them closer to God. We launched different programs and projects that made an impact in the community. Because of these, some institutions have noticed our works and recognize our efforts. We were awarded as one of the Top 10 Most Outstanding Youth Organizations in our city. I believe that you don't have to be a public servant to do a public service.

In terms of my ideology, I can say that I probably lean more towards the leftist, liberal side of politics. That being said, I wouldn't really call myself a democrat or a liberal, because there are certain right wing ideas that I agree with as well. I suppose that I’m just somewhere in the middle. I honestly feel like the two-party system is a pretty dumb system to begin with, as it is very divisive and distracts people from the real issues within our society.

In an ideal world, I would choose to be a socialist, but so far socialism hasn’t really worked out for many countries that tried it. It’s great on paper, just not in reality—at least not in the way that people have been doing it.

Same as you, its really hard to choose between the two sides because both have ideas that I agree with and do not agree with. I just vote for the individual politicians irregardless of their affiliation. I just do research and read their track record and go from there.

Sadly, no. But recently I was thinking to get in some, and moreover, get involved with politics. I know it's dangerous, but I want to be the one who secures the future for my children. It's the one and only reason why I'd join the political system, even though it makes me sick.

I'm not any part of any political party. How I decide to vote a politician is simple:

If he does good things and I'm certain he's honest, then I'll vote for him. I don't care if he's democrat or republican, I just want to vote for the deserving people.

When I registered to vote I put down Democrat. But I don't really care about political parties, as long as we all consider ourselves Americans and strive to honor the Pledge the Allegiance and achieve the words that written in the Pledge.

No, I am not a member of a political party. I choose politicians individually and not because of the party that they are on. Politics is just a hard issue to tackle as it is very complex when money, welfare of the people and individual beliefs of the candidates are involved.
