Are you happy with your hair colour?

I have blonde hair and fair skin and while I'm ok with it I always wanted to have dark hair with skin that tanned easily when I was young. We can dye our hair these days but I know that it wouldn't match my skin tone so would make me look terrible. There are lots of variations on hair colour and women these days dye it all sorts of colours.

What is your hair colour and are you happy with it or do you like to dye it different colours?

I'm not exactly happy with my hair color, but I'm not complaining about it either. I would be happier to have grey or white hair. I wouldn't mind blue or violet either.

I admire your attitude towards hair color. Like you, I don’t mind if my hair is white but my husband wants me to dye my hair to black because he doesn’t want me to look old. He also use dye on his hair so I couldn’t complain. But if I would be the one to choose, I would rather let my hair color be natural whatever it is. Over here, the most popular hair color is blonde. Maybe we want to look like an American.

My natural hair color is dark brown - sort of like hazelnut type? and I have blue eyes and that seems to be a good combination. I have always been told that my darker shade of hair makes my eyes stand out even more. I have never ever dyed my hair or really considered it. I doubt that blond or some weird crazy color would look good with my skin tone because I am quite pale.

Overall, I love my hair color and I wouldn't dye it any other. I just don't see the point because it ruins the hair far too much. All natural!

As a male, I don't think that there is as much attention drawn to my hair color as there is with females. I think we as men have a greater emphasis on style than color. I have dirty blond hair and while I thought about dying it just out of sheer boredom, I don't think I really need to unless I want to.

Genetics are quite funny though, today I have dirty blond hair but as a toddler I had very blond, almost white hair. Would've preferred keeping that shade but brown isn't bad either.

I have blond hair. A few years ago it was black so it was a process to get to the blond. The blond for me looks more natural and I get a lot of compliments on my hair. I've had my hair many different colors over the years but the color I havr now is my favorite.

My hair has a colour dye on it because it has a bit of grey in the front. I don't like having grey hair as it makes me feel old before my time. I dye it a dark brown which is my natural colour. Rather like a chestnut brown with a tinge of orangy red in it.

I do enjoy my own hair color(black) and I honestly wouldn't rather any other shade. Not that I would mind if it were any other color I'm just content with this one. I do have this random infatuation with redheads though. Not that I want my own hair to be red because that would look rather odd on me, but I like orange and red hue and they tend to be nice people.

I have naturally blonde hair that gets quite dark brown when wet or when I put a bit of gel in it. It almost looks like I have brown highlights or something. I'd love to try out different colors in the future since I have brown eyes, which go with any hair colors. I was thinking of dying the bottom section and sides black and having the top part be longer and blonde. It would be a cool contrast.

My hair is black and I just dislike it, I wish my hair would be at least brown.

My hair is naturally a light dull brown. I am not happy with the color at all. I use to color it a lot when I was younger. Now I just use lemon juice or chamomile tea and the sun to lighten it. It's a subtle change, but I like it much better than my original color.

I love my hair color. They are dark black in color which is just perfect for an Indian beauty. Moreover the color of my hair goes very well with my complexion as well so it is something I'm really proud about. My hair are my most precious asset and I love everything about it.

I am, is very very dark brown, some people even ask me if I had dye it because it seems kinda unreal how dark my hair is. I had thought before about changing the color but then I think it doesn't worth to make such damage to my hair.

My hair is chocolate brown and I'm perfectly satisfied with it because it balances out with my skintone, my eyes and my general features. I once or twice dyed it a lighter shade of brown, but it just didn't do the trick for me and I ended up reverting to my natural shade. I don't really think I'll ever attempt to dye it again, to be honest!

I am an Asian. So, my hair is naturally black but curly because I tie up my hair into a pony tail for years. Hence, I am happy with the color of my hair because my skin color is fair. Majority of Asians hair are black regardless of their races or religions. Some teens or working adults would dye their hair color to fit their image or to mimic a certain idol hair style. However, passer by would stare at them as if they are zombies on the streets. It takes courage and confidence to dye a different color of hair. Imagine what would happen to your mom or dad when you return home one day with a purple color hair style. As for my parents, my dad would faint but my mom would drag me back to the hairdresser and demand a refund!

I really like my hair color, I'm happy with it and I find it very beautiful, it's curly, the only problem, it's greasy as fuck.

Yes, I am happy with my hair color. I have dark brown, black hair and one or two strands of white hair. My concern is hair lost though not the color. I do not dye my hair, I just keep it natural. In my teen years, I highlighted it once and that was enough for me.

Dark brown, close to black hair on me. Pretty happy with it. I have grown it long back in time, now I usually trim it often, but no matter the length it fits me well, I'd say.

I'm happy with my hair color. I have a dark brown hair, and it suits me well. I don't plan to dye my hair with a different color, and that's not healthy for my hair.

I have light brown hair and I'm pretty happy with it because it suits my skin tone. I've thought about dying it before, but I really can't think of a color that would suit me better than my natural hair color and my hair is slightly damaged so I don't want to use anything harsh on my hair such as a dye.

Personally, I'm very happy with my dark brown hair color. I don't think there's nothing wrong with dying your hair a different color, but just be careful because you can mess up if done unprofessionally.

If I had to dye my hair, I would probably turn it sandy blonde. Though it's never been something I was interested in doing.

My hair is dark brown with some light strokes. I am currently 27 years old and some white wires have already appeared. I am very happy with the color of my hair these days, but I do not rule out the possibility of painting it when I wish. Hair grows and I just would not regret it if I painted it with an undesirable color.

I am not satisfied by the colour of my hair, because the normal colour of my hair is black but now i have more white hair than black in my head. I don't want to dye my hair beacuse my friends would laugh at me. Being a woman is much easy but being a man is harder, because is nothing abnormal like a woman it's dyeing her hair but when a man does it, everyone around start to comment or laugh at.

I have dark hair, which is the natural color for the people in my region. I like what I have, when I color my hair it is not because I dislike my hair color, it is to appear trendy. These days I have stopped coloring my hair, however, when I was in teens I used to color my hair. I believe coloring your hair will damage your hair.

Having an Asian background, I am obviously born with dark hair. I’m pretty happy with having dark hair as I don’t think I would look anywhere close to normal if I was to get another hair color, especially something bright. If I want to change the look of my hair, it’s more like getting a different haircut or just style my hair. I’m never into dying my hair so I’m basically happy with my hair color.

I am getting some white color streak above the ears. And that is one more reason I am using the L'Oreal hair color for making them look black. And for this reason I guess my hair color is also changing. I don't know how much my hairs are turning white. But it'd be possible to make use of the color on most of my hairs I am guessing. I guess it's all fun that way. People using color may affect the rest of the colors as in those which are black.

At the moment, I'm not very happy with my hair colour. I'm growing out a dye job that destroyed my hair and it's taking a little longer than I'd like. I said on the poll that I prefer it dyed different shades because I love ruby red with even lighter highlights. My natural colour is black and I like to take it up a notch with a brighter colour as I feel it really makes my skin 'pop'. Once my hair's grown out properly, I intend to use an organic ruby red dye I've found in an alternative health store. It contains none of the harmful chemicals such as lye, and should be kinder on my hair :)

I love my hair color, simply because it fits me well (I'm Asian). I don't like it when Asian people try to have blonde hair, it fits for some but since it became a trend a lot of people started doing it and it just looks so unnatural to me. I like dark hair because it compliments my skin tone; if there's anything I don't like about my hair, it's that my bangs get curly once it's longer. I suppose if I was white, I would choose to have red hair or black with blonde highlights, but as for now I consider myself lucky that my hair looks great on me.

My hair is golden brown and I am totally in love with my natural hair colour. When exposed to the sunlight it looks like pure gold. Still, there was a period in my life when I wanted to make them darker. I dyed hair once in dark chocolate brown colour but it didn`t suit me at all. Since that time I never dyed my hair, moreover, my husband hates the dyed hair.

My hair was a nice, rich, chocolate brown, but now it has gray "hightlights" ha ha. I recently colored it with a formula that is supposed to cover gray completely. Well, it didn't. I do like the color though, and now the grays actually do look like bronzed highlights. I might just use it again.

I have dark brown hair and I like it. I tried to dye my hair about two times and I was pleased with the color. However, dyeing caused my hair to become dry and unhealthy. Since then I have never been to the salon to dye my hair again. Many people have also been telling me that my natural hair is beautiful. I think we need to learn to accept ourselves.

My hair color is fine and that's perfect! I can't even tell the exact color it is but I know it makes me look awesome. Hey! There is no perfect hair color alright? I have no need to put some other color on my hair at all. That's final I think.

I haved colored my hair from dark brown to mahogany red. It looks good for couple of months but after five months it look frizzy and lost its shine. My hair looks dead and I got a lot of split end. Now I reget putting color on it.

My hair is pretty fair and I don't mind the color at all. I wouldn't look good with a darker color at all as I am pale and have no eyebrows. I had a more yellowish colored hair once but brightening them makes them thinner and I don't want to damage it because it is already kind of thin.
Posted by felabruno on 08-30-2017
Oh absolutely. I wouldn't change it at all. I think that people care too much about things that are not so important like appearance and hair color and forget to take a look at more important things like, family, relationships, and spirituality.

I love my hair color very much. In fact, I m very thankful that I am an Asian because I love black hair very much. I don't dye it because I don't want it to get dry. I just want a natural black hair. Another thing I love with black hair is that it perfectly matches my love for gothic fashion. Black hair really looks great with my dark fashion. It also creates a good contrast with my fair skin. I'm not planning to change my hair color. Black hair makes me very happy.

The natural black color is the best color to have but if you are blessed with blonde color it is also good, if you dont have enough black color hair then you can dye it in black color and not any other color.

I want to have blonde hair but I don't want to mess with my hair too much because I'm afraid of damaging it. Maybe in a few years when I think it's a little more okay to experiment I'll go through with it. I'm also hesitant for now because I don't really have a lot I can do with it even if I dye my hair right now since not many people will be able to appreciate it but I do planning on doing it one day. Sometimes I do wish I was just born with a different hair color.

I really used to appreciate God for my body, he created well beautifully, wonderfully and perfectly. My hair color isn't an exception, I have a hair black hair and I just love it.I love the black color all I need it to oily it to give it a shine and it is just it.

My hair was black. Now it's black with more and more gray strands coming in every day. I'm happy with the color.

I was born with black hair and I am happy with it. But I have noticed that the craze now is in dyeing the hair blonde. There are lots of blondies here and one of them is my sister. I don’t know why they prefer blond color for their hair when they don’t have a fair skin like a blonde. But in a gathering, it is a given the women with blonde hair will outnumber the women with natural hair color which is black. Oh well, that’s the fashion nowadays.

As a Chinese, my hair is naturally black. I am happy with my hair color, as I was born with it , it's my gift and I don't see any reason I don't like it. I think it's beautiful too. Now as I am aging or maybe I was stressed, I have more white hair now. I am still happy with it, and don't think I will dye it, as it's still my natural hair color. It's just time for them to turn into white.
Posted by kaka135 on 01-22-2018
I am happy with my naturally dark browned hair but I am not contented. I usually dye my hair twice a year with medium brown. I am not that contented with the dark color of my hair and I want it to be more brownish compared to the natural one.

I have a fair skin and black hair and there were times in the past when I had it dyed to mahogany and light brown. I would love to experiment with blonde hair color but it doesn't look natural for my race and country so I have decided to do my best with my natural hair color. At this time, I enjoy flaunting my black, shiny, and straight hair while I still have it. I know that at some point, I'll be dealing with grey hair as a natural course of aging so I have to make the most of what I have right now.
