Horror is good

I never played this card game, but I've always loved anything horror related and even if Halloween has gone by this is a good way to spend time with your friends. I'm pretty sure it will never get dull if you love this kind of stuff, card games are really something we should play more.

Eldritch Horror: The Dreamlands Game

Eldritch Horror: The Dreamlands Game
This is Eldritch Horror The Dreamlands Game and it's actually the 6th expansion pack for the Eldritch Horror game. With an all new venture into the dreamlands on a brand new side board!

The story goes: It's been a long time since you saw with your own eyes Sunset city lit up like city of domes and minarets, gently soaked in the red light from the orbs of fire just outsiide.

Ever since that time, you would have crossed the borders of this city, night after night, looking for the city itself so you can finally go into it and see what it has to offer you.

You would have already seen many spectacular wonders that can't be compared. Such as the Turquoise and Tourmaline city of celebration and the sacred cats of Coulthard to name a few.

But you've long abandoned and forgotten about your usual life of waking up, eating and then sleeping again over and over. However, tonight is going to be very different from most night.

You notice on the thin horizon, in that time between sleep and wake, black ships from the Moon that are finally starting to catch up to you and your wherabouts which can never be good.

You'll descend down into a dark world of sleep and slumber and splendour of dreams in Eldritch Horror The Dreamlands Game. The latest expansion pack for the Eldritch Horror game that is.

Walk upon the sweet and fresh smelling grass in the enchanted woods for the first time. Then travel deep into the underworld to sail off the very edge of the world itself into a moonlight realm.

Find all 8 investigators that all want to unite and stand up against the evil ancient ones Altach Nacha the Dreamscape and Hypnos, the Lord of sleep and possibly of death itself.

Eldritch Horror The Dreamlands Game 6th expansion pack has new spells and adventures to boot. New conditions, cards and encounters for every adventure and escapade you come across!

  • Eldritch Horror: The Dreamlands Game is a very strange game to play which is exactly what fans of this genre of card game want in a game today!
  • A truly great expansion to the game with new characters and new evil bosses to come up against in onslaughts that can only go one way.

  • Is said to be more exciting to play with lots more to do but still not all that entertaining if you're playing it for a long time.

I think fans of these horror games would like both of them. I just find it to be interesting that both of these games are available this time of year. I am sure fans of horror and card games would like both of them. It is hard to choose a winner in this case.

Last time I played a card game Magic the Gathering had just come out, so I really have very little experience with choosing between these to games. After reading the descriptions, I think the Arkham Horror game is the scarier sounding one. I would actually have to sit down with the games to make a real decision though. So whichever is cheaper would probably be my choice, I'm not picky.

This is the second time that I had come across a game that is horror or scary. Maybe the children will enjoy those games that are featured in this discussion especially the young adults in the family who enjoy watching zombie movies and other horror tv series. But for me, I would rather enjoy a hilarious card or board game than playing with those scary card games. Pardon me for my negative comment. I am just being honest with my opinion on the products.
