Being Young

Being Young
Ahh to be young again! It's a time of innocence, a time of ignorant bliss! A time when you just want to have fun and play all the time.

Being young means not having any heavy responsibilities, not having the daily worries and stresses that grown up adult life brings!

It means not having to think about how you're going to pay your bills or put food on the table, clothes on your back and shoes on your feet.

It means relying on and trusting in your parents to look after you and give you everything you need to grow up to become a good person and self-sufficient.

And being young can be a very happy time and many people have very happy childhoods and fond memories they cherish with their friends and family.

When you're young, and you're old enough to go out alone with friends, it can be a hugely exciting time! Like going to the woods and camping out.

To going to parties and events with your friends and family. Roller skating nights, discos, adventures, holidays & teen crushes you never forget!

Whether you're really young, (1-5), getting older now (6-10) or and older younger still (11-16) each stages of your young life can be different.

Although how you live your life, and the life you lead, will largely depend on your circumstances, opportunities and your own initiative and imagination.

Some young people are poor and don't have many advantages, but can still have a very happy childhood and enjoy their younger years.

Some young people are rich and can have many advantages still, more even. But usually the very rich young people aren't as happy. But not all of them.

I guess it has something to do with being able to appreciate the simple things in life more when you don't have everything they do you know?

That and what your parents teach you and the path they carve out for you, what they want for you and what you want for yourself when you grow up!

Pros
  • Being young can be a lot of fun and an exciting and revealing time of your life.
  • You can create a lot of fond memories when you're young which you'll cherish for life.
  • Being young means having no pressing responsibilities, or the worries of grown up life.
  • You don't have to pay bills, worry about holding down a job or even getting fed!

Cons
  • Your childhood happiness can depend on many different mixed factors like status, parents, opportunties, creativity, inginuity etc.
  • You can't do those things you can do as a grown up like place orders for food or buy stuff using a credit card.
  • Being young can be rough! Kids can be 10x more cruel than adults can be!
  • You can get your heart broken and can end up missing people and pining for them.
  • It can be a confusing time, as if going through puberty isn't challenging enough.

It fun to be young!

being young means being carefree, being able to have fun and learn life lessons as well. being young means you are willing to take risks and think only of yourself because what matters most at this time is exploring your real identity. adventures and explorations are one way of doing so, attending parties, and getting a life is one of the fun things young people do. We should live while we're young :D

Great fun

I think everyone, once they actually grow up wants to be young again so this is clearly the winner for me. I am 18 years right now so I'm 50/50 at the moment. One side of me cannot wait until I start a proper job and am able to buy a car, a house and other things without having to depend on my parents. But then the other side of me wants to go back a few years and enjoy my younger years again which were so much fun.

Young!

Definitely being young. When I was a kid, all I wanted was to grow up and be an adult but now I'd love to return to my childhood. Being a child is so, so easy. You are full of innocent and without a worry in the world.

Especially if you're in a good family, childhood is the best part of life. You can do anything you want, even be naughty and get away with it. You can play, fool around, and more. Even school is easy as hell and ends fast. What more could you want?

It's Nice to Be Young

It's nice to be young.

I realized this too late... if I could go back, I'd want to have a happier childhood and enjoy living as a child. When I was younger, I always wanted to grow up and be an adult. Now that I'm an adult, I see that I've missed out. Being a child was great. You could do stupid things and people would just call you cute and forget it. Now if you do anything out of line, people would judge you. It's terrible.

Being Young

I certainly prefer to be young, full of energy and with little responsibility. Being an adult has its advantages, but honestly, being young is much better, after all you are younger and have a long life ahead of you.

I want to be young again

I made a lot of mistakes during youth. And I wasted time trying to be a geek. And that I want to get out of the way. i guess that's something I want to get rid of. It'd be good to understand how though. But I guess we just learn from mistakes and move on from this.

Young

I miss my childhood and teenage years. They were definitely the best years of my life. I have so many good memories to cherish. I had nothing to worry about at that time. I used to play lots of outdoor games during my childhood. We had no PlayStation, no iPad and no computer at that time. We only had a TV and we were allowed only to watch cartoons. Those were definitely the best cartoons. Technology has robbed children of their childhood nowadays.

Things are no longer the same as an adult. There are so many responsibilities now.

Being Young

Being Young is a big and impossible desire. Ask any adult if he desires to be a kid again and he will definitely say yes. We all want to be children again, to have no worries, not go to a job, and play all day long. Unfortunately, this is impossible and we must live our life as it is!

Youth

Both ages have advantadges and disadvantadges but being young is always a thrill. Figuring out the world and making your name brings back fond memories

ok.

Well, these two options are not correct, because there's a middle ground when you are a university student for example, that's when you are young and you have the rights that an adult has, so you can still do a lot of stupid stuff and deal with your responsibilities. I mean even if you finish university, you still won't be old and it's not like anyone can stop you from having fun.

I miss these days

Of course, I prefer being young. I wish it existed a formula that can let me be young again and never grow up. When I was a kid, my only responsibilities were to brush my teeth, keep my room cleaned, get good grades in school and take a shower at least once a day. I ignored that it existed adult problems like my health, financial statements, my job, my college career and my love life.

Young and free

It's always fun being young. You don't have to think about responsibilities because your parents will take care of everything, you don't have to look for a job that makes you work for a lot of hours. Your only thoughts are finding a girlfriend/boyfriend, partying and just having fun. When you grow up for a lot of people all of this ends and we have less time to ourselves.

Young

I prefer to be young again. I miss the old days, when the boy had no worries, I miss the days when I sleep peaceful at night and wake up joyful in the morning. without having to crack my head at problems associated with growing up. And most importantly, engage in events I can't engage in now. because I'm grown up.

I wanna be forever young.

Being young is great. We all think that we will have fun everyday. For me, I want to experience more of my younger days. I want many things to try just for young ones.

I miss being young.

I think I will choose my time of being young. Because when we are young we dont have any problems. We only think about games food and things about being a child. Unlike when you hit being adult theres so many things or facts in life that we have to face. I really missed the times when I was a child.

Being Grown Up

Being Grown Up
Being grown up means you are no longer a child. No longer a teenager even. You've put away the childish things and have reached full maturity.

You have become a more independant and self-sufficient adult that doesn't need to rely on your parents to feed and house you any more.

And being grown up can certainly come with a lot of perks. Sure, it's not quite the same as being young, but it's better in its own way too.

For when you are a grown up adult, you can do those other enjoyable things in life and can do them without needing your parents permission!

Like going on holiday alone with friends, going out to clubs and events and able to drive and watch & do things you wouldn't be able to as a kid.

And of course, let's be grown up about it, when you are grown up, you're able to have relationships where you can get to reach 3rd base legally.

You can learn to drive, start your own business, become more powerful and grow in stature and favour in the eyes of man and God Himself.

You get to learn about the reality of life and the truth behind those innocent but adorable misconceptions you had as a kid. You become wiser.

You have become an adult. You can marry, buy a home, start a family and so, the cycle of life continues!

Well come on, there's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes right!? :D

Some people say we never really grow up. We merely learn how to act in public.

I agree!

Pros
  • Being a grown up adult comes with a lot of perks and ways you can enjoy your life that you can't do as a kid.
  • You have a lot more independance and freewill to do whatever you want or be whatever you want to be!
  • You can eat & drink what you want, dress how you want, learn to drive, get married, have sex and a child of your own!

Cons
  • Getting old can not be as happy a time for some people as their childhood was.
  • You can get stressed, fed up, aggrevated, tired, depressed become cynical and cantankerous.
  • You have to pay bills, get up early to go to work, hold down your job and be more "responsible".
  • You will eventually get really old and could end up in a care home with dementia.
  • Eventually you die but as long as you lived a full life and done your best that's all that matters!

Being independent

There shall come a time in a man's life that all the children stuff and kids plays should be dropped and have him grow up into a responsible fellow willing to take up all his or her responsibilities facing him/her.

This is because, one isn't expected to be completely dependent on its partners all his/her perpetual life. There are times to grow up and take responsibility and strive to be utterly independent from your initial source of income and comfort.

I had an awesome childhood and sometimes I long for those days when I was carefree and had no troubles or responsibilities. Life was so easy back then but as I got older then I was responsible for my own life and my own expenses. I have made more then my share of mistakes along the way but that is what make me who I am today. I have no regret. I enjoy being an adult and doing my own thing, being responsible for my own life. I like that I work and have my own money to do as I choose and I don't have to answer to anybody. I enjoy the freedom of being an adult. I am very happy in my life right now and perfectly content to be as old as I am.

According to my friend adulthood is a scam because all the good things we were told we will enjoy during our youth is a lie.I prefer to remain young. You don't have to worry about anything probably about just passing your terminal examinations but everything is taken care of.I think adulthood can only be good for freedom but other than it just bland I must say.

I loved being a kid. Being grown up is not fun at all in comparison. The only good thing about being grown up is that you don't have to do what your parents tell you to. You can make your own decisions. Other than those perks, I don't think being grown up is fun at all.

Being grown up is not at all fun. And it can be really bad for many of us. You can see that people who try to remain young at heart live better. Being grown up and trying to be mature all the time is bad in many ways. We end up curbing our wishes. And that's definitely something bad for many of us. I think we have to learn how to adjust with that part as we move along in our life. We learn from mistakes.

When we are children, we soon want to reach adulthood... But when we become adults, we want to be a child again. How confusing this may seem? Haha! So, I think both phases have their pros and cons and that's why I'm not going to specifically vote for any of them.

When I was young, I wanted to grow up, become an adult so that I will find a proper place in the society. I was tired of being told, "shut up, you are just a kid." I hated to be pampered, instead, I wanted to be respected. I wanted to be heard, I wished that people let he have my say. Now that I am an adult, I often thnink about my childhood and teenage days. Nothing to worry, and carefree days.

It's only an irresponsible fellow that would love and choose to ever remain young and go on being just a parasite to the parents such lazy bum individual is living with.

This kind of individual is a shame to man's existence and probably a source of scorn to his/her parents, as much as they won't say it out loud, they are definitely disappointed by having such person as their offspring.
