Wider audience and also for those who don't read E

Blogging is accessible to all, even those who don't read English as they can translate it. People can read it wherever they are, stop and re-read it if they are busy and it's easier to share. Vlogging requires time to edit, and people who don't understand the language won't watch. It restricts your audience and also your ability to convey your thoughts if you aren't that articulate when you speak.

Many people still read blogs but also, vlogging is for people who want to become well known and famous. But are you ready for that type of exposure? It comes with its warts for sure. Also if your life isn't that eventful, starting up a vlog won't really get you very far.

Blogging is Easy

I prefer Blogging over Vlogging because it's easier, it doesn't need additional hardware and I can do it in the comfort of my home. Vlogging can incur a lot of expenses with all the equipment and transportation cost needed. Also you need a partner to help you in Vlogging and it's very hard to do a quality Vlog on a regular basis.

Blogging

In blogging, you don't have to do editing like in video editing that takes a lot of time. And not all bloggers are proficient in video editing. Also, blogging can only be cost cheap because you don't need to buy different devices or equipment. And, blogging can be done in one place, you don't have to go to more places. In short, blogging is easier to do.

I prefer the beauty of the written word

Blogging to me feels so much more personal than vlogging does. I feel like most vloggers have incredibly annoying, brash personalities - like Logan Paul for instance. Writing is an art that I don't want to see lost, so it's blogging all the way for me.

More opportunities

I like both blogging and vlogging, however I still prefer blogging more because there are more opportunities for bloggers than for vloggers especially that you really need to have a very solid following in order to succeed in vlogging. Also, you have to be very entertaining and interesting in order to make a vlog. With a blog, you don't need to show yourself and act out to succeed. You just have to write and express yourself, your thoughts, ideas and even expound infos.

Blogging

I appreciate blogging more than vlogging. The essence of blogging and vlogging is to spread information and also entertain the people. With blogging, the information can be transferred successfully but it need to be more precise and easier to read. But in vlogging, the information is more likely to fail in transmitting the information as the focus of the viewer is on the video itself rather than on the information. I would prefer to learn more than to get amused that is why I prefer blogging.

Vloggers = Toxic

Most of the people I see vlogging have no regards to other people around them. Not everyone wants to be filmed, on purpose or not. Most of the vloggers I see are imitating the obnoxious behavior of Logan and Jake Paul and that's not a good thing. If only vlogging was civilized, then I'd go on board that idea.

B for blogging

As an introvert, I prefer blogging because I am not really that comfortable in front of the camera. I don't have the confidence to be a vlogger. In blogging, I can express myself more clearly and creatively in writing than in speaking. Also, blogging does not take too much time. I do not need to edit my blog with great time. Also blogging is less harsh than vlogging in terms of haters and bashers.

Blogging Career-Wise

My vote comes from a career standpoint and not as a consumer of content. I prefer blogging because for me it is much easier to do and I don't like the idea of exposing my face on camera all the time.

Blogging also is less expensive as all you need to have is a laptop, and you're good to go while for vlogging, you'll need a digital camera plus accessories and all that which doesn't come cheap.

I actually am not really comfortable with vlogging. Though I love watching vlogs, it doesn't really top my love for blogging. Through blogs, I can express myself more than what I can if I film myself and publish it publicly. I am a person who writes more than speaking and showing off publicly. Blogging all the way

I myself are a little better at creating a text than a video of myself talking. So for me I would prefer a blog than a vlog. A written text is easier to edit and has a more serious tone. That being said if you are already tired you just want to watch someone talk to your face , but a vlog in my opinion does not carry the same "weight" as a good structured text.

Blog Trend

Anybody can write an article, but a few of them can make videos.

This is my answer, and probably you’ve got my point. I mean that blogging is more competitive than vlogging. And accordingly if you can make videos, then go for it as it will be your best bet.

At a stage, you can combine both to work together. You may vlog on youtube and drive traffic to your blog. This way you should get both benefits the perfect way.

Include more detailed informations

Through blogging, you can add more information when explaining something. For example, you are making a blog to review a smartphone. In your article, you are able to add more information and explain the information thoroughly. Specifically, you are able to explain how fast the device is compared to other devices. You are able to add more information why that device is faster than other devices.

Some vlogs I watched seem to be all over the place. Some vloggers think that mroe movement means more interaction, it only gave this OG a headache, to be honest. But maybe that's what the younger generation is looking for in a vlog. Blogging is centered and has but one focus, less headache, and makes me feel younger.

Blogging doesn't stray away

I prefer blogging because it allows writers to have control over their content. It can be as detailed or as vague as they want and they can create their own content based on what they want to say or to express without trying to be cool or trendy. It's also good for people who are introverts or people who are not comfortable with exposing themselves for other people to see. Blogging still manages to send the message to the readers through written outputs.

Vlogging Best for Marketing

I think it depends on what your purpose is. If you want to market products and do some advertising, then vlogging is the way to go. Videos seem to be the standard tool these days, and it's easier to capture an audience with live content, especially where the presenter of said content is good-looking and oozes charm and appeal. Vlogging is more interactive

I like vlogging better because it presents information in a much more engaging manner. It's also more entertaining as compared to reading a lengthy blog post, as readers can easily lose their focus in a sea of text. Moreover, since the duration of the video is displayed, I know exactly how long I'll be spending on the video, and that is very helpful when I manage my time.

For a general blogger, getting 1k daily traffic can be considerd very good, however, if you are good with marketing, you can easily get thousands of daily traffic on your vlogs.

I do blogging back in the days when it is in the top line of sharing your thoughts. I miss doing it and it is almost 6 years ago. And this vlogging is new and I don't even try one of that. Looks easy but needs a lot of guts to do. :p

As for me, it depends on which end are you looking it at - As a consumer, I'd prefer vlogs more as it somehow looks more interactive. But as a creator, I'd rather be a blogger as I am not that proficient with video editing.

For me, I'd rather watch the videos, it is more enjoyable to watch and it's like experiencing what they are doing. Unlike blogging you need to rely on your imagination.

I think you are one of the millenials. Nowadays, people love to watch rather than to read alone. The prefer things that makes their eyes happy rather than to use their own creativity.

I think that Vlogging is better. I think that visual media does better then text. I think the era of text is coming to an end. Think about it Guys, wouldn't you rather watch to something then read it. Especially with our busy lifes. You can listen while walking, driving or just relaxing. I must say that I have picked up an interest on many vlogs. I prefer this way of telling a story and listening to a story. I think it has more of an impact because you can see the person and can see whether they are trust worthy or not.

I would choose Blogging because I'm used to it. I've been writing blogs for years and I'm earning some income from doing it. I really haven't tried Vlogging because I really don't have the time to do vlogs regularly. It takes a lot of time and prep work to finish one vlog unlike a blog and I don't have that luxury right now.

Vlogging it is! Some people find it easier just to watch than read and it's really more entertaining than reading alone. More and more people are into vlogging in this day and age and with the help of social media to spread their vlogs about anything. Some vlogs are really time consuming if it's a tutorial and how to's and some are for entertainment only like they are monetizing it and doing it for fun at the same time earning some extra.

Vlogging for me, because I love to watch it than to read it because I can understand things when I see it than reading it.

From a consumer's point of view, I'd say vlogging as like others said because it is more entertaining and interactive. You get to feel like you are conversing with someone when doing so. However, if I'm studying something, I'd like to read more to be familiar with the terms or spelling and things like that.

I am more comfortable doing Blogging than Vlogging. I consider myself camera shy that is why I know I will not be able to express myself well doing videos. Both are good outlet to express ones creativity. On the other hand if you are asking me to choose if I like reading Blogs or watching Vlogs, I would choose the latter. Vlogs are more entertaining to watch because you can actually see what is being described than Blogs where you still have to use your imagination to see and understand what the writer is saying.

I enjoyed Vlogs for a long time, it's fun to watch videos and learn something at the same time. But just recently, I'm interested more in Blogs, reading an online journal from every different bloggers makes me feel more knowledgeable about a certain topic. You can easily click some links that gives us more related information. Some vlogs offers us limited and sometimes same information from a different vloggers. I appreciate more vloggers though for their effort and patience in making a great vlogs. It takes more time to think for a good script and video editing skills.

I voted for Blogging but if I was asked if what I prefer to consume the most on a daily basis, that'll be Vlogs. Vlogs are very enteratining to watch and being able to see the lives of other people is definitely something that I want to do everyday because I am always curious about the differences in lifestyles other people have with me. I actually wanted to become a vlogger but I am too shy and I am afraid I don't have that much content to share that would click to my audience.

I vote for blogging simply because it is much easier to invest in someone without being visually engaged in who they are behind the computer. In my experience with vlogging, the vlogger becomes over the top in their personality in order to attract more viewers. Vloggers are putting on a show, and it always rings me as a bit fake and put on. I can almost always relate much more to reading people's thoughts. But, I will admit that vlogging is extremely useful in certain situations, and the visual element give it a leg up on genres, such as cooking and makeup reviews. Overall though I still side with blogging. I am a reader at heart.

I think that both are good, but I personally enjoy the act of blogging more simply because I prefer writing as a medium. I think one of the upsides with vlogging that you don’t get with blogging is that it feels a bit more personal. When you watch a vlog, it’s like you’re sitting down to have a one-to-one chat with somebody. You can see their body language, listen to their voice, and just take in their personality better. That being said, I personally prefer to blog for my own content because I don’t really love putting my personality out on the internet in the way vloggers do.

The thing with vlogging is that YouTube is owned by Google and they can pretty much delete your videos or channel anytime without any notification. I know we have to be careful of making mistakes but people do make mistakes. I saw some other YouTuber's getting their channels deleted.

If you have a blog with 100 plus posts, no one can delete them except you but if you got 100 plus videos, you know that if something goes wrong then all of them will be gone.?

This discussion is a choice between the readers and the watchers of video. I don’t have the patience to watch a video that even in Facebook I rarely watch the videos posted there unless the caption makes it very interesting to me. I prefer reading a blog because I can scan the content and easily get the gist if I have to read it in full or if I should dump it. No time wasted with that unlike when you spend 1 or 2 minutes for a vlog.

I would definitely choose blogging instead of vlogging. Blogging is more helpful for us to use our mind, to think and it exercise our brain more. Unlike vlogging, though some entertained us but it only let your mind wait for what's come up to means your brain is not working. So still choose blogging.
