Boiled food
Boiling has a way of softening the structure of food substances, by changing harmful chemicals found in them to edible and digestible chemicals. Boiling exposes the inner structure of the food, making them crushable and digestible. Countless number of foods must be boiled before we eat them.

The mouth detest the raw form of some foods, boiling enable them mix perfectly with other ingredients and makes it easier for our body to digest them. Medical practitioners support boiling of some food, because it enhances the nutritional value of such foods.

Companies which produce refined carbohydrates, boil the food before converting them to their finished state. The boiling process softens the food, thereby enabling them process it to taste. Some liquid food's coagulate on boiling, forming edible solid foods.

• Heat is required. • The process demands time.

boiled food is better

I generally think that boiled food is better than fried food, as fast food is super unhealthy. Boiled can be both really healthy and super tasty. Like for example; in you have spaghetti with some tomatoes, peas and some spices, you will have a meal that is healthy, cheap and tastes really good.

I will go with boiled because fried is so extremely unhealthy. If you eat it too often you will get health issues and gain weight.

Boiling your food to cook it is far better since it is just water. It is plain yet healthy. I love it and have to admit that I use it every day.

Health first.

I've considered, many times, fried food as a delicious meal but it's not good for our health this type of food because it has a lot of fats and that increase our cholesterol levels. That's why I choose boiled food, it's not as delicious as fried food but it's healthier.

Comfort in a Bowl of Broth

Had to really think hard about this because I love fried foods. But I will admit that oil or butter is required to fry foods and it's not always easy to come by. Whereas water, unless there's a drought, can often be obtained more easily.

Also, if a person is really hungry or starving there is something extraordinarily comforting about a bowl of hot or warm broth. It doesn't have to have meat or vegetables in it. Just clear broth can make a person feel as if their body is being rejuvenated. It does wonders whether a person is sick or in good health.

Deliciously Healthy

Boiling is a great way to infuse different flavors on one meal. Although i have nothing against fried food and i do eat fried foods, i prefer boiled foods because of the flavor that it makes specially with kids. Having vegetables and meats on a is a great way to entice children in eating healthy.
Posted by fishbate on 03-27-2018

I prefer foods that aren't dry.

I like to eat both fried and boiled foods, however I am the type who prefers to eat with a soup or anything that is liquid because here where I live, we always eat with rice and considering that, I always need something that will make the rice smooth so that I won't choke. However, it would be much better if I eat both on my meals because I like to eat fried foods like Fried Chicken, Fried Fish, or Fried Pork with soup.

I would go with boiled food because it is healthier amd safer to eat. Compared to fried food that uses oil that may cause us bad health because of its content. We should consider first our health before deliciousness.
Posted by ajahcuizon on 11-21-2018

There is something to boiled food that fried food does not have. Boiled food is just good the way it is. The food is not spoiled by fats which are becoming the cause of many diseases.

It happens that boiled food should be done for a specified time. Over boiling snatches away most of the ingredients and under boiling may not soften it enough.

Posted by stbrians on 08-27-2018

I prefer boiled food that fried food because I do my best to manage my weight by avoiding oily food. Also boiling food is way cheaper nowadays than frying food. I also like my food soupy than dry and crispy.

I vote for boiled food. It is good for the health. You don't need to use oil for it to be cooked.
Posted by jeffreyjose48 on 11-06-2018

Healthier option

Boiled food is the healthier option. Fried food uses up too much oil, and when they get burnt, the toasted part becomes potentially carcinogenic. On the other hand, boiled food pretty much has no drawback except for the flavor, which isn't that much of a concern for me.

I choose boiled food. It has less fats. it has less cholesterol.

Eating boil food is way better than fried. I do enjoy eating fried food but boiled food is way healthier. I mean you don't have that much to eat but you can easily eat a lot of other things. I want to keep and have a healthy lifestyle.

Boiled food all the way

I prefer the boiled food than friend foods, because that's what I'm used to growing up my mother always boils the foods, I feel like its more healthy too, by boiling food I feel like the food is really cooked rather than just frying it.

Fried food

Fried food
Frying gives food a unique taste and a feel of dryness. Foods like fried egg, fried plantain, plantain cheese, fried chicken and other adorable fried foods, are mostly preferred by the public in ceremonies and other occasions. The distinctive flavor and taste added to foods when they are fried, gives it public preference.

You can easily get bored with cooked or boiled foods, but most times frying change's everything by making you, increase the quantity of a particular food consumed. Frying reduces the volume of the food significantly, and the chances of a particular food getting spoilt can be reduced by frying.

Frying has it's negative effects on the body, as medical practitioners complain of the degree, to which eating fried foods causes cholesterol buildup within the body. Frying certain foods destroy their nutritional benefits, therefore people are encouraged to avoid frying some food.

People suffering from ulcer and heart diseases, are advised to avoid fried foods, because such foods have negative effect on their health. Food can be fried to become completely dry or just to lose some degree of their fluid.

The high temperature present in frying, makes fried foods free of bacteria and other living harmful organisms. Oil used in frying also contributes to the final taste, certain oils are preferable when it comes to frying.

• The oil used adds it's special flavor. • Eliminates bacteria and other harmful organisms. • Reduces food moisture. • Makes some food taste better. • Binds the ingredients in a recipe together.

• Eating fried foods can cause heart diseases. • Not suitable for ulcer patients.

Fried Foods

I know it's not the healthier of the two options, but when I think of my favorite meals, they tend to be fried. I love boiled foods, don't get me wrong, I just prefer some fried foods more.

One of my all time favorite meals is Tonkatsu, which is a Japanese dish consisting of fried pork cutlets, cabbage, tomatoes, and a special sauce. When I think of fried foods, this is the meal that comes to mind first.

Posted by TheArticulate on 03-05-2018

I am not big on boiled foods. Some foods are meant to be prepared that way, but I generally prefer other prepartion methods. I plan to get an air fryer so I can make frying more halthy. However, I don't eat fried foods all that often.
Posted by kgord on 03-05-2018

Though it's unhealthy but proper food such as this tastes better. And many among us find such food healthy too. I guess depends on how we consume this type of food. It may turn out to be different for each one of us. Some fried dishes such as chicken are fun to eat.

Fried Is Awsome

Realizing up front that I know it is not good for me, I still love fried foods of all kinds, and the taste of fried food is vastly superior to the taste of something boiled! U am from the American South, and you could say that fried food is our "fifth" food group, lol. Of course, fried chicken is a must, and fried potatoes, but I also love fried green tomatoes, fried squash, fried brussel sprouts, and fried fish. As long as you keep the grease or oil good and clean, and as long as you get it to the right temperature, this method of cooking can deliver incredible taste to your battered and fried foods!
Posted by JoeMilford on 03-05-2018

Fried food might be unhealthier, but it's one of the tastiest food out there, KFC for example is absolutely amazing and it tastes like heaven. Other fried food such as fries for example, which is probably the most obvious choice of food when concerning frying something is also amazing. The negative part is that it's unhealthy.
Posted by manmad on 04-11-2018

makes almost anything taste better

I choose fried because it's so good of a cooking method that it makes almost anything taste better. Everything from savory food to sweet can be made to taste even better than it already is by frying. An even bigger proof of this is that even insects when fried becomes a delicacy in some countries and I doubt they would become as popular if they were just boiled instead.
Posted by Wubwub on 03-15-2018

I prefer fried

Boiled is healthier according to most researchers and health professionals. But I prefer fried because it's much tastier. The key is though, eat it in moderation. Also, some forms and brands of oil are healthier than others. Some methods of frying are healthier also. Take that into consideration as well.

More tastier!

Admit it! Fried foods are much more tastier compared to the boiled foods. I always prefer having foods which are well done than eating something that is cooked thru boiling. I just feel that it wasn't cooked well and I really don't like the taste.
Posted by JB Fernandez on 03-05-2018

Favorite meals

My favorite meals are almost always fried. The only thing I can think of which I really like is pasta. Frying just brings out something out of the food and makes it even better.
Posted by treecko142 on 03-06-2018

It is all about the taste!

Yes, I know it is not healthy and having more oil in the body are bad but I can't help myself eating fried food. It is more tastier if you fry it rather than boiling it. I do not like the taste of a food when it is raw, and frying it will take out that taste. :D
Posted by MomoStarr16 on 03-06-2018

I like it if it is crunchy.

I know most people say that boiled foods are healthier and we must choose our health first, but when I think about fried foods the first thing comes to my mind is crunchy and I don't know but I really love to eat crunchy foods.
Posted by mitan143 on 04-15-2018

Tastier, even if not healthier

At the end of the day if we're talking about taste, to me fried food wins hands down. Sure, it's definitely not the healthier of the two options, and if health was the only factor then boiled would win - but fried food is delicious!

Happiness Over Health

At the end of the day, we are eating not just for survival but for happiness. Fried foods provide that. Boiled foods are healthier, yes but fried foods just taste better.

If it is a choice between the boiled and fried food I will always go for fried food. the reason is very obvious, I am a complete foodie and there are so many fried delicacies that I will miss eating if I choose to go for boiled food. the boiled food although very healthy is very bland and tasteless. fried food, on the other hand, is very tasty and something which I can never give up fried food although not a very healthy option will be my choice
Posted by jpk0007 on 10-16-2018

Fried, I have to go with fried. It's more tasty, and fried foods have that extra crisp which makes it more fun and delicious to eat. Boiling food is like taking away it's natural taste and putting in the seasoning and all the artificial things people add to it. So i have to go with fried, fried never disappointed me.
Posted by mftmadam on 10-31-2018

Although some boiled foods like meat are my favorite I always tend to go towards fried food. Apart from boiled meat, there is no other boiled food that I find tasty. Fried is always good for me.
Posted by Focusedwriter10 on 11-06-2018

I think boiled food is popular in some culture. But I personally don't find much value for the same. The reason being the boiled food tastes worst after some time. And for that reason I guess it'd be reasonable to have some of the food items properly processed and the fried food way.
Posted by overcast on 03-05-2018
My daily menu includes boiled food as well as fried food. Rice is a staple dish here and boiled rice is very popular. We eat fried vegetables with boiled rice. When it comes to eating healthy food, I think boiled food is better. Fried food contains too much saturated fats, which is harmful to your body. having said that fried foods are good for your taste buds.
Posted by vinaya on 04-14-2018
I don't have much boiled food in my daily food intake. Instead I have found out that if consumed properly. I'd be able to make mix of both boiled and fried food. That would be surely healthy for me. I think I may have to experiment with that approach.
Posted by overcast on 11-13-2018
One example of comparison is the chicken drumstick. I’m sure you love the fried chicken drumstick especially the KFC brand. What if they will sell boiled chicken drumsticks, do you think it will sell like the fried chicken drumsticks? Perhaps the frying of food was invented not for the health but for the taste of it. We are meat eaters and our usual fare in the dining table are fried foods. It may be unhealthy to the eyes of some but we don’t eat fried foods every day just to play it safe.

Chewing is a very important step in the digestion process, because it is at that moment that the food breaks down into small pieces that can be digested. Poorly chewed foods are more difficult to eat, requiring more energy and effort from our body.

Baking, in addition to generally making the food tastier, still helps break down some fibers and cell walls, facilitating the digestion process and nutrient absorption.

Well, I know that eating too much fried food is not that healthy because of the cholesterol. But same in boiling, you can somehow acquire a bacterial infection because of eating foods that are not cooked well.
Posted by JB Fernandez on 03-06-2018
In order to cook food properly, you will have to boil it for some time, When the food has been boiled for some time, it is free from bacteria and other pathogens. Boiled food is healthier than fried food. When you are eating fried food, you will be eating a lot of saturated facts, saturated fats will build cholesterol in your blood. When the food is deeply fried, it will be burned in the surface. Burned food contain carbon and carbon is detrimental to health.

I used to be a proponent of boiled food. As i 've grown up and done my research I've realized that fat is actually good for, it just depends on what fat. Vegetable fats and other processed fats are the enemy. Healthy fats like Olive oil and Coconut oil are actually really good for you. To loose weight I changed to a low carb lifestyle which requires high fat, moderate protein and next to no carbs. Foods high in fat taste better and make you full for longer. Boiled foods taste horrible and you feel like you're starving.
Posted by jaymish on 03-06-2018
have you heard of Ketogenic diet? The ketogenic diet uses low carb, high fat, and high protein foods to maintain health. fats are good for your body, however, too much fat is not very good as it increases cholesterol level. If you eat a lof of fried food, you will be consuming a lot of fats. I don't think boiled food taste horrible. If you have eaten indian foods like boiled rice and boiled lentils, you will know how tasty is boiled food.

I don't really have a preference as such - as not only do I eat a wide variety of different foods and depending on what I’m making - regularly use all cooking methods - apart from deep frying which I never do - but its the overall flavor or rather - the end result that is more important to me than the method with which the food was prepared.

In fact come to think it - as the majority of meals I make generally require more than one method of cooking to achieve the desired result - it would be virtually impossible to say which one I favored the most.
Posted by gata montes on 03-06-2018
To be honest I love eating fried foods but since they are unhealthy I limit my intake of such foods. My dad suffers from high blood pressure and cholesterol and the doctor advised him to follow a strict diet else his health will deteriorate. So we prepare boiled foods regularly at home. I don't really mind eating boiled foods as I know that they are good for health. I have to admit that ever since I started eating boiled foods I feel healthier and I even lost some weight.
Posted by Pixie on 03-06-2018
We eat foods for two basic reasons: one to quell hunger, two for satisfying taste buds. The first reason is the primary needs as no one can live without eating food. The second reason is just a luxury. You don't actually have to satisfy your taste bud. If you are concerned with health, you need to avoid satisfying your taste buds as tasty food also tends to be unhealthy. For instance, fried foods are not good for health as they promote high cholesterol.
Posted by vinaya on 04-14-2018
There are chances that I will like to eat more of boiled food instead of the fried meals and it is not about the healthy part of it, but all because of the fact that I prefer some meals when boiled than when they are cooked. Take for instance, eating a fried egg with bread and butter, you will see that there taste is unique and also I prefer taking boiled rice instead of the fried type all as a result of the taste that I get from doing so.

So, all I am saying is that we should realize the need for us to make preferences of whether we want the boiled meals or the fried ones as a result of the satisfaction that we derive from taking them.

Boiled food and fried food have different taste therefore I cannot choose one over the other because I loved boiled food as well as fried food. There are some foods that I liked boiled and there are some foods that I liked fried. I kie boiled rice, boiled noodles, however, I liked fried chicken, fried potatoes. If I haver to choose one, I might choose boiled because it is healthy
Posted by vinaya on 03-06-2018
I agree that both of them taste differently. The funny thing being most of the time boiled food is going to taste different. And the amount of boiled food that we can take is lot different in that context. I'd say that fried food has it's set of the limitation for eating due to health issues that may occur.
Posted by overcast on 11-13-2018
Actually both, I love them both. But I much more favor to boiled food. I really like soup specially coming from beef with almost an hour of boiling, Its taste good. I just want fried every morning, just during breakfast, like eggs, bacon, fried rice, and after that, just more boiled. It's not because of healthy, I just like to eat foods with a lot of soup.

Some people say it is some people say it is not.If you boil you are evaporating all the minerals. If you fry your food it will not be healthy because you broiled it in fat. Though, I must admit frying food gives a different taste which I like.

Variety is the spice of life so I have a good mix of boiled, fried, steamed, or grilled food in a week's menu. I cant say I'm favoring one type of cooking/food over the other but there are far more choices for boiled foods than there are for fried foods which make fried foods boring if I need to opt for just one type of food. I life having fried food once in a while and that's it and it's not even for health reasons. I like the mix of flavors and spices in a pot.
Posted by chatbox on 03-08-2018
This is a really tough decision to make because, at least for me, it is a battle between taste and health. The fact is that I eat way more boiled food than fried food. This is simply because not only is fried food generally unhealthy for you, but typically after a fried meal I tend to feel as greasy and heavy as the very food that I was eating. Boiled food like boiled vegetables and soups typically leaves me feeling lighter and more energized. Which one tastes better though? Fried food, obviously.
Posted by Denis_P on 03-13-2018
Boiled food can still taste good all you have to do is add spices and oil. Let me explain, you are trying to make noodles by boiling. Boil noodles, add vegetables and chicken, and season with salt and spices. Your boiled noodle can still taste as good as fried noodles. Slice potatoes, boil it, add some salt while boiling, When it is cooked place on a plate, sprinkle with spices, eat with sauce. This will tase as good as French fries.

I’m sure that people who are health conscious will choose boiled food all the time. But for me, the taste is important because I see life as something we have to enjoy. Live your life, as they say, and savor what life has to offer. I don’t see the point of suppressing our palate for the good food around when you cannot live forever. In fact, whether you eat good food or bad food, you also die so there’s no point in clinging to the advocacy of healthy food. In short, I want fried food.
Posted by Corzhens on 03-15-2018
You have a point. However, I want to ask you a question. Cannot you enjoy life eating what is best for your body? If you begin to eat healthy foods like boiled food, you will soon love it. Many people find fried food tastier, however, if you continue to feed on boiled food a long time, you will learn to appreciate the natural taste in the long run. There are other ways to enjoy life rather than eating foods that are not good for your body.
Posted by vinaya on 04-14-2018
Well actually I love fried but it's healthier if it is boiled. If you are a health conscious then probably you would choose boiled. When it comes to taste, I would really choose fried because its more tasty than boiled. What I like about boiled is that, it doesn't have oil so its less cholesterol.

I like to have fried foods. I hate foods that are boiled because they don't carry as much flavor. But as they say, boiling your food is much healthier as the essential nutrients are not lost. I do have boiled vegetables sometimes which I convince myself to eat, even though I don't want to.

I prefer fried food in terms of taste. But since eating too much of that is bad for our health, I'd rather have boiled food. And with this type of cooked food, you're more confident that the germs and bacteria are dead. Boiling water has always been done to remove harmful substances. The same goes for boiled food.

Boiled foods is healthier and that is what I like consuming most of the time. I won't deny that most of my favorite foods and the ones I get addicted to so quickly is fried foods. Fried foods can spice up your life and make the taste buds to be happy but we all don't like it when the doctor tells us to avoid eating them so we can get well. It is better to eat more boiled food.

I love fried food but knows that it is healthier when food is boiled. Maybe we all just need control to balance what we eat.

Boiling is one of the healthy way to cook food however we all know that food is tastier and more appealing when fried. Boiling is said to be healthy because it doesn't break the nutrition from the food being cooked. This is especially true if food is boiled at the right amount of time. As for fried food, there are a lot of diseases link to eating too much of it such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol which makes a person more prone to have heart diseases. These diseases are due to the additional calories absorbed by the food in the oil when fried.

Boiling is considered a secure approach that allows you to get masses of vitamins from meals, even though in case of veggies for instance, because of the accelerated temperature, nutrients are misplaced in higher amounts than throughout steaming. but there’s additionally a bonus in boiling veggies. This technique softens a number of the fiber content, making an allowance for a better absorption of the nutrients inner vegetables.
