CHELSEA WOES CONTINUES WITHOUT A. MORATA
It was a forgettable week for Chelsea football club as they suffered there second back to back defeat in the English Premier League season of 2017/2018.

There last fixture was against Manchester City before the international break when they lost their striker A. Morata or hamstring injury, and subsequently lost the match with 1-0 scoreline.

After the international break, they were looking to build back winning momentum against Crystal Palace, a club which hasn't scored a premier league goal for 714 minutes since he inception of the season, but to their greatest surprise, Y. Cabaye got on the score sheet through a deflection off Ceazer Azpilicuta and also Zaha scored as well, thereby consigning the Blues to another defeat and another week to forget.

It was one of our worst games and shows how much we relied on Morata before that. Hazard is still coming back from a big injury so he needs time to get used to playing properly again so right now we are relying heavily on Morata. I'm not too worried, to be honest. I doubt we can win the league because of well Manchester City are playing but everyone needs to remember that we still won the league last season even after a very poor start to the season. Hopefully, we can beat Roma tonight and show others that we are ready.

Seriously, I was surprised seeing Chelsea lose to Crystal Palace, a team that has been so poor right from the kick off this season. It was a total disappointment that simply because of no Morata they can't beat a weak Crystal Palace. A lot of people lost a great deal of money on bet as a result of this match outcome, personally as much as I don't support Chelsea, I really wasn't pleased with this match in any way.

And coming to look at how they played against As Rome in the UEFA Champions League, they start really well with Morata back in the starting line up, created lots of scoring opportunity, only to allow Roma back into to game and they almost won, if not for the brilliance of Eden Hazard.

Definitely i think Chelsea is seriously missing the absence of Morata in their firing line of attack, they will need to work extra hard to overcome this latest defeat that they suffered in the hand of Crystal Place FC.

One truth is that the presence of Morata always give the team an extra bite in attack considering that he is the focus of attack. It's quite unfortunate that they lost against Crystal Palace, but I see them doing better in the course of the season.

I'm happy to read that Alvaro Morata has recovered and would play a part in them winning against Newcastle United. He is the focus of their attack aided by the ever reliant Eden Hazard that is doing great this season as well.

Morata actually started his premier league exploits almost immediately after his transfer from Real Madrid to Chelsea. But the toughness of the English Premier League matches have caught up with following series of below par performances in matches and suspension as well as injuries has affected his game plan.
