Chickens comes first because they lay the eggs!
There's this perennial question of which comes first, The Chicken or The Egg. In my opinion the Chicken comes first because Eggs can only be made by Chickens.

The way I see it, it's no different from humans, when God made Adam and Eve, God made them as Adults and not as Babies. So I believe that God also created Chickens as adults which could take care of themselves and propagate a whole new generation of chickens by laying a lot of eggs and hatching them to produce chicks.

Which one do you think came first the Chicken or the Egg?

Agree

No one has agreed yet, be the first!

Disagree

God isn't real

First off, God isn't real and the story of creation of all things on Earth as per the bible is just a fairytale, so relying on that as a measure is not practical. Writing that off, I think it's more objectively sound to think of the egg as the one that came first because all life forms here came from a simpler form if you believe science.

I think that the old question of “what came first, the chicken or the egg” isn’t necessarily asked from a creationist perspective, but rather from an evolutionary one. If we look at it from the evolutionary perspective, the clear answer would be that the egg came first.

Evolution is the result of beneficial mutations occurring within a species which allows them to carry on their beneficial genetic characteristics. If I were to oversimplify the process which it took for a dinosaur to evolve into a chicken, I’d simply state how in order for the chicken to come into this world to begin with, it would have to be a result of a genetic mutation as it was developing in the dinosaur egg.

The mutation was beneficial to this “proto-chicken,” and was therefore able to pass on its genetics to become the chickens we know today. Therefore, the egg came first.

You just made me realize that there are indeed different perspectives that people on Earth have. This would be a never-ending debate as people will always have different opinions. To see is to believe as they say, so it would be hard to convince everyone about your point without a very concrete evidence.

I think it's the egg. I believe its the cell why eggs form and then when hatch it became a chick and eventually a chicken. Actually it's really a difficult question as you will have to think of a theory, an accurate supporting theory for this. Our teacher thought us about different theory of evolution and some scientists and other inventors gave their theory about it. I already forgot those as I was still in highschool.

Chickens comes first because they lay the eggs: For me, chicken is the first because base of the history God created animals and not mention Eggs. Another thing base on the history also during the flashflood Noah choose onky pair of animals and no eggs mention again. Therefore, the first is the chicken and eventually lay eggs

This is a never ending debate. Even science has not found the answer for it. Although research says that the egg contains the things which are needed for a chicken to be born and then the question arises "How did the first egg come out from?"

Hahaha! This is a very old argument. It's so funny that no side has won just yet. I remember myself telling my teacher when I was young that eggs came first. Because it's how a chicken's life starts. But, I don't know, I guess, this debate will go on forever. Lol.

The egg was a chicken egg. But its parent was a proto-chicken. It would have started off as a proto-chicken egg/embryo, but it mutated into a chicken egg/embryo. If you believe in evolution then an animal that wasn’t quite a chicken at some point laid an egg out of which a chicken hatched. Egg came first.

This topic has been a hot issue for a long time and until now there are no concrete and final answer to the question and I believe has their own beliefs - I respect that. But for my own opinion, I'd say that chicken comes first as I believe to the Bible and God created adult animals first just like how God brought Eve and Adan to earth. We all know Eve and Adan did not born as a child when they came to the land of Earth.

Both sides could have a reasonable explanation which makes both valid. A chicken came from an egg so it should be the egg first before the chicken but an egg can not hatch without anything that would incubate it which should be a chicken. This is when people get confused and start the never ending debate which comes first. There are two ways to explain this and it's either scientifically or Biblically. Either of the two is considered valid at this point of time so it's really hard to justify unless you will stand still for what you really believe in.
