Christmas Eve

Celebrating Christmas Eve with family is more meaningful to me than New Year's Eve Celebrations. It's because Christmas symbolizes all the good things in our religion, it commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

This one.

I always enjoy Christmas Eve Celebrations as it's the only time of the year when our family is complete. My siblings can come home and enjoy the good food and good memories.

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve is a great way to spend the day before Christmas. Gather your friends, enjoy a bond or simply wait together as it becomes Christmas day. Or bond with your family and be able to enjoy the day where you get to do certain activities together and prepare for the celebration of Christmas!

Christmas

I love Christmas the most because it's the only time of the year when all my favorite food is served. New Year is another thing because I'm not really fond of their choices for the New Year's Eve party. Also, I can't stand the smoke from all the fire crackers, it's bad for my health.

GIFTS! and Family I guess?

Kidding aside, most families are complete during Christmas celebration while most have their own party to attend to during the New Year's. The fireworks may be beautiful but the gifts last longer than a couple of minutes.

Chirstmas!

Ummm Christmas eve celebration vs new years eve celebration this two celebration is fun and both of them I do personally enjoy but if I would make a vote I would go with Christmas Eve celebration. I just really enjoy opening gifts and eating Christmas dishes while also having a quality time with the family.

Family

I enjoy the Christmas dinners more because of food, of course hahah Other than that, we can sleep whenever unlike New year's eve in where you have to stay up until the next day basically doing nothing.

I totally feel you about the food. But we have pretty good dinner on both holidays, and next day it's a costume to eat all the rest of the food, and even prepare some serious crazy mixes with all of it. You can see all kind of weird sandwiches, wraps, salads, my family tend to create next day hahaha.

New Year's Eve Celebrations

New Year's Eve Celebrations
New year's Eve Celebrations starts with a good family dinner, next a party, drinking and dancing the night away. At 12 midnight, the skies are filled with colorful Fireworks.

Pros
Fireworks Display in the Night Sky and Parties that goes on until morning.

Cons
Too much partying can give you a bad headache.

New Year

I enjoy the New Year's celebrations. I love the atmosphere around me during the special occasion and everyone is in a festive mood. All the streets are full of people and there are fireworks everywhere. It is a sight worth watching.

I’d say that I generally prefer Christmas Eve celebrations as they’re a much more wholesome occasion. It isn’t that New Year’s Eve celebrations can’t be wholesome, but New Year’s Eve is almost always about just generally partying and drinking too much. If you don’t drink for New Year’s Eve, people always kind of look at you funny, but I personally think that ringing in the New Year with a hangover isn’t a great way of getting a fresh start.

Christmas Eve, on the other hand, is more about getting together with your closest friends and family and enjoying a nice, wholesome dinner together. Sure you might have a few drinks, but it’s not about getting blasted in the way that New Year’s Eve is.

We have fireworks for New Year too, and there are emblematic places that show the best fireworks in the city. So, you basically wait for them to start the show after the countdown for New Year. You can even feel the smell of smoke and fireworks until the next day, because there's so much to see up in the sky.

I love Christmas as this is the time for celebrating Jesus birthday. I love how we receive and give gifts to others as showing our love to each other. Actually Christmas and New Years eve are my favorite holidays through out the years. For new year's eve, this is the time for new life and new day for another year of our lives so this is also important for us and I love celebrating it with my loved ones.

Christmas Eve Celebration vs New Year's Eve Celebration: For me the two is a special occassion. Christmas Celebration for me is reminding of God's existence here in earth and live like a normal people while the New years Celebration is for the family to be together in whole year round maybe not in physical way but a connection of every heartvthat make us together

I always love Christmas and Christmas Eves. Just the fact that we can be complete only at that time of the year is enough for me to choose Christmas. Well I still love New Year though.

My family tends to gather for any of those holidays, and Christmas has the whole religious meaning, but New Years Eve is the one family appreciates the more. On New Year's eve we have a tradition in our country, which is the New Year's hug. You have to hug each member of your family, and wish them Happy New Year, we do it right after the last 12 bells or countdown until the New Year. Then, you have to visit your neighbors and friends, and give them the New Year hug too. It's something I grew up with, and it's the best feeling ever to hug your loved ones right starting the New Year.
