Classic Mini SNES Entertainment System Built-In 21 Games

Classic Mini SNES Entertainment System Built-In 21 Games
Blast to the past with this retro classic (SNES) Super Nintendo preloaded with 21 games. But wait, it is the same console right from all those years ago. Yes, it sure is but they have made the classic retro console SNES into a mini SNES. It is basically the same old console but they have remastered it into a more compact look which is ideal really for more space around the home. The original Super Nintendo Entertainment system was first released in 1990 in Japan and also in the country South Korea.

Later on, it was then Launched over in Europe in 1992, known as the Super Nintendo Entertainment systems which we all know today as the SNES. So why not take a leap back through time and connect this retro star into your television and get some friends round and step back into the early 90's once again. Play classic games like Street Fighter, Super Mario World to even Mario Kart, compete with your friends and enjoy the good old days one more time.

It has not changed one bit still the same SNES just the size is a difference. The new SNES mini can fit in the palm of your hand, easily portable to carry around on the go.

  • SNES Mini fits in the palm of your hand ideal for easy storage and to carry around
  • It has a good collection of games with the mini SNES
  • You get 2 controllers inside the box so you and a friend can play
  • Rewind function which is perfect for harder games or tricky situations

Looks a bit too small, do prefer the normal size SNES The wires/cables are not long enough

All about the games

This all boils down to which games you prefer the most. And since I enjoy Nintendo games a lot more, I prefer the Classic Mini SNES Entertainment System. Although the Sega system has more built in games than the Mini SNES, I believe that they're of lower quality as compared to what Nintendo has to offer.

There's a certain charm to the Nintendo games included in this system that makes it awesome. Super Mario? Street Fighter? Mario Kart? You can't go wrong with those.

I will go with the mini SNES. My friend owns one. He bought it when they initially released it and it was sold out within the first few days.

If you ever played the classic SNES as a child then you will love this console. It has all of the best old games on it and runs very smoothly. I'd highly recommend it.

Nintendo all the way!

I simply like Nintendo better. I mean, Sega has some good games, but they're just not as good as Nintendo, subjectively speaking. Anyway, I can respect the other opinion, though, cause Sega does have some good games.

Classic SNES

I had an SNES as a kid so SNES classic is my choice. I just am no fan of the 'mini' aspect of it. I'd prefer the regular-sized Super Nintendo Entertainment system.

this is the real retro gaming console. They have more game to offer more than Sega. More games means more fan.

More a fan of Nintendo

It all comes down to personal preference but for me I'm more of a fan of Nintendo games. I do enjoy Sega games too, but if I had to choose which I think I'd use more, it's the SNES System.

I love Super Mario

SNES wins the versus for me. I do remember my childhood, the first game that introduced me to the gaming world was Super Mario. I remember playing that game for hours. Although there are other really addicting games in SNES like Street Fighter specially when you wanted to have fun with your friends or siblings. But for me it was only Super Mario that kept me away from all the other stuff.

Sometimes, I still start to play Mario wherever I see someone playing it. I just simply love it and that's all!

This one.

It's funny that it has a rewind option, but I think I'm buying the idea of it. It's fun and it's very classic. It's even perfect for the gamers who are easily frustrated with losing.

Still Nintendo

Be it classic or retro games, the first that comes to my mind is still Nintendo. I think that Mario fever had far surpassed times and generations after generations still get the hang playing these games. And to play it retro style would really fire up the 90's spirit in me. My vote would still be Nintendo.

SEGA Console Mega Drive mini With 81 Games

SEGA Console Mega Drive mini With 81 Games
We all remember the name SEGA when thinking of the brand SEGA I can often hear the sound in my mind. I envision Sonic running across the screen in the opening titles of the brand. One of the best retro classic gaming consoles of all time, very popular brand SEGA with the Mega Drive and also Genesis games and system.

We first heard of sega with there first console SG-1000 which was released on July 15, 1983, which was discontinued exactly 1 year after. This is when they released the SG-1000 II in July 1984 which yet again lasted 1 year to October 1985. This then followed by the well-known Master system in Japan first in October 1985 and later in Europe in 1987.

Which then after followed in this sequence Genesis (mega drive), Game Gear, SEGA CD, Sega Pico for kids, 32X which was an extension of the mega drive. But this is how far the SEGA branding as come. Now you can play your favorite titles on the SEGA mini from Sonic the Hedgehog, Mortal Kombat 1,2 and 3 and more excellent popular titles. Grab a controller with a friend and battle it out with the SEGA Mega Drive Mini.

  • Reasonable price comes with 81 built-in games with hours of fun
  • Also, with 2 controllers so you can play 2 players like the good old days

  • Maybe a good SEGA mini but it does look rather cheap when you get it out the box
  • Game can be a little choppy at times especially when moving the Games-unit

I prefer Sega games

I read a review that the emulation on the retro sega mini consoles was a bit bad with some games although I'm not sure if this is the exact model. However, even with that possible downside I still favor Sega games a bit more than I do Nintendo games so I would still probably choose this one. If I had limited budget only for one console I would probably still just buy the Sega one.

One thing that every true gamer would go for when getting a console is that which is worth the price and this is something that Sega console mega drive mini with 81 games tend to bring. The thing is that you get a whole lots of options to make things work pretty well for you when playing this game.

I'm choosing the Sega Game system over the Mini Super Nintendo Entertainment System because it has 81 games in it , which is a very good deal compared to the 22 games of the Super Nintendo. Also Sega has a lot of good old games too and it would be fun to have access to those vintage games.

I vote for SEGA Console mega drive mini with 81 games. There are lots of game in this console. I love to play games.

I am a solid fan of Sega because of the Sonic Franchise. I think it's one of the exclusives of the platform and you can't find it anywhere else. I'm not sure about this though.

The console wars and their feuding fanboy supporters easily go all the way back to the early 90's, when Nintendo and Sega were duking it out for the honor of best mainstream gaming console. Needless to say, it's easy to see who won that one. Nintendo still makes fantastic games and consoles, while Sega is...well...Sega. Being that I grew up with the Super Nintendo, I instantly feel biased towards the SNES mini. However, my actual choice is neither. In my opinion, both are overpriced junk. Nintendo have a wonderful, family friendly façade, but behind that bubbly image lies a company with some of the shadiest marketing tactics in the industry right now. They keep re-releasing the same old content, abuse and ignore fair use laws for personal gain, and strike down non-profit fan projects without mercy. They won't be getting my dollar. In fact, I'll gladly emulate the entire SNES library before I give them a dime.

I prefer the classic SNES. It's fun to play and works really well for me. This brings back so many memories. I'd spend hours playing games. It's the best thing ever.

I know nothing about Classic Mini SNES Entertainment System or SEGA Console Mega Drive. IN fact I even don't know about SNES or SEGA. Perhaps that's because I am nit a gamer and I do not take interest in games. However, I have gamers in my family. My nephew is a gamer, on week ends he will be playing games until 5 in the morning. Therefore, I would like to get SEGA Console. My reason is: 81 games is always better than 21 games.
Posted by vinaya on 05-17-2018
I don't like using the SEGA console. I'm more comfortable with the Classic Mini SNES. I don't know. There's just a certain quality to it. Also, the fact that SEGA consoles break often doesn't help.

Classic Mini SNES is really classic. It has a charm that you'd want to choose it over the other. I actually love the idea of the rewind button. It's funny yet very addictive.
Posted by theresajane on 11-13-2018
Well for me I would choose both of them as I love playing classic games which brings me back to my childhood memories. I know that I am kind of a gamer as my brothers are also gamers but I am the only girl in my siblings but my actions are a little bit boyish so playing games will entertain me. The other one which is the SEGA I think it is also good since discovering new with 81 games is also a lot of fun to do. I chose either of them as long it is fun and enjoy.
Posted by nekonieden on 05-21-2018
I both had that game console and enjoy it a lot. My sega is my favorite game console but I vote for SNES. Because they have actually more games than SEGA.
Posted by MomoStarr16 on 05-22-2018
Well. it is interesting to note that a lot of the games on these systems can probably be played on the Wii. Well, I know the Nintendo ones can. You simply buy the single game that has some of these games on it - and one is called Super Mario All Stars.
Posted by jyy on 05-25-2018
I had both the old ones when I was a kid and the one I really played a lot is Nintendo. Now they have rebooted these classic consoles and the one I bought is no other than Nintendo just because it is my favorite game console I ever played and the games built in this gaming machine is not so few but the greatest games of my childhood days which I would still choose to play. I really like the look and build of Nintendo it's really a classic retro and I would say smooth gaming.

I am not well versed with those gaming systems but I’ve heard from my nephew that Sega is a good one because he had an experience with that. And from the looks of it, based on the literature above, it is appealing to the players because of the 81 games that is inside it. Well, the more, the merrier for a gamer, right?
Posted by Corzhens on 07-09-2018
I chose Sega console. I like this because it has 81 built in games. I love to play with many games.
Posted by jeffreyjose48 on 09-24-2018
Who could defeat the Mario brothers right? I still love the game. I guess they made this game for you to finished the whole game because you re not going to stop unless you past to the next level. This is so addicting. I remembered playing Street Fighter with my friends And they know my character all the time - Chun Li LOL. I actually still used the character to our new console until now and they still can't defeat me haha. So for me I choose the Classic Mini SNES Entertainment System Built-In 21 Games.
Posted by romy_ter on 10-08-2018
Regarding the Sega console, you can't beat the prebuilt 81 games included in it. Plus the two controllers that come with it, so you get to play with someone as playing alone is boring and dull. More players, more fun!
Posted by NerdIndeed on 11-06-2018
I'll go with Classic mini SNES. It's fun for me and the way it's built is I think designed for people like me who get frustrated easily with games.
