The match of the week between Liverpool and Manchester United ended in a 0-0 stalemate. From how the match was played, there were lots of divided opinion on who should have won and who was more aggrieved for just getting a draw.

Looking at the match form of both teams in the past 5 games, Manchester United have been in winning streak while Liverpool on draw steal, so considering that who should have won or felt more aggrieved by the 0-0 stalemate of the match?

I had so much hope from Manchester United. I was under the impression that they would have defeated Liverpool. Unfortunately this was not the case. I hope that Manchester United wins the next time. This is my favorite team and I really want them to be the Champion again.

It wasn't only you that looked up to such outcome before the match kick off, considering the winning form of Manchester United to the drawing form of Liverpool. It was expected that the Red Devils have a commanding display at Anfield but the reverse was the until full 90 minutes. Manchester United never came to Anfield with the intent of winning the game but only to go home with just one point and the players executed the managers game plan to 100 % accuracy.

Damn, the last thread that I commented on in regards to this match I was very confident that the Manchester United would have won Liverpool just based how they've been playing and the players that they currently have. I guess I was wrong and this just, once again, shows how unpredictable football is. I bet that majority were in favor of Manchester United as well. Perhaps they will come out superior next time.

I personally think that 96 percent of the footballing fan community, including some of the Liverpool football fans were very much disposed to expect getting torn apart by rampant Manchester United looking at their display all season already in all competition, but that was never the case.

Not only was left wondering what was going on in the mind of Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho. Maybe he forsee what other matches of the week would look like and decided to go with a safer strategy in going defensive.

I am glad that this was a draw because it was a great result for us (Chelsea fan here). But the problem is that we ended up losing to Crystal Palace which was quite embarrassing so we could not take advantage of you guys dropping two points. We could have slashed the distance to just 3 points but unfortunately, it wasn't to be so we are still 5 points behinds. It looks like Manchester City are doing extremely well so this was a great result for them as well.

Haha @Kingcool52, I definitely know that you would be in jubilation seeing that match result between Liverpool and Manchester United as it was the first match of the week but the disappointment that struck you when Crystal Palace, a team that was yet to score their first ever Premier League goal came and beat your team Chelsea must have given you reasons to weep for your dear club Chelsea.

It's was only the free scoring Manchester City that had the best match in the week by nailing their opponent was it 7-2. These guys are really not joking or messing around this season.

Lots of Manchester fans thought that they will win the match but it ended in a draw. Some have complained that Mourinho employed too many defensive tactics. I think liverpool will feel more grieved than Man U.

It's not just only Manchester United fans that believed they would win the match, from their form ever since this season and considering Liverpool poor matches against small teams, most people thought it to be a walk over match for Manchester United but that never happened, as it was even the Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea that kept them from losing with a fine left leg save in the match.

It is really one of the things that you never know. Your sports teams are just one of the things that you can never predict. These are just the things that you can predict, the fact that the game may be good or not. It is just one of the things that you might be hoping to enjoy when you are watching TV. This is the long and short of it..sports by nature have an element of undpredictablilty built in.

Yes, you are absolutely right on this as this match gave all football fans reasons not to get carried away by the current form of any team with respect to their next upcoming match, because anything can happen and you would be left wondering what went wrong along the way. It was a general believe that Manchester United would have won the match, personally I was thinking that they would win by at least 3 goals margin but I was totally wrong.

No problem with a draw as i Belive that United is still in the driving seat. They are not going anywhere down this season. Just watch out for Lukaku. He might bring some defenders down.

Yes definitely, the draw was a good result for Manchester United, considering how other matches of the week went. Chelsea lost to Crystal Palace, Arsenal lost to Watford, it's only Manchester City and Tottenham that won who were among the big guns in the league, so therefore, the draw didn't do Manchester United much bad.

ManU for life that is my club,I'm not disappointing much because I still believe in Manchester United. They have been good in recent seasons and I'm believing it will continue in more seasons to come

My dear, point of correction, it's not ManU. Stop referring our great club in such manner alright. I have come to notice that you really love Manchester United and you have every reason to. It's a huge club with a fantastic history and with how they are playing this season, everyone is likely tempted to love them.

One reason that football is not popular in our neighborhood is the scoring. A match can be decided by a score of 1-0 which is not exciting at all when it comes to the numbers. Worse, a match can end in a 0-0 score which is a draw or a tie. And even if there is an overtime play, that 0-0 possibility can happen. I pity the sports writer who would write about the news of that game that ended in a score of 0-0 because he has nothing to report since the game is a draw. No one is excited and the news is not interesting.
