Did you enjoy playing with toys as a kid?
While I was a kid, I always enjoy my parents buying one toy or another for me as that is the way that I always get to enjoy some good time. The toy that I preferred back then are car toys and it was one that was really nice for me as well. Did you enjoy having while a kid?

Yeah i did and that's a part of my life that i don't have any problem's in my mind and that's when i enjoy my life when i was a kid. I think everyone of us enjoys playing with toys when we were a kid because that's a part of every kids life. Also it will make great memories that will make us happy. And once you have grown up you will not have time to play toys like when you was a kid. So in short i did enjoy playing toys when i was a kid.

It also enhances their learning development. I think it's a must to let kids play as it allows them to discover what they can and cannot do. It helps them as they grow up.

I don't think there's anything that gives kids joy like their toys. I was always happy playing with my toys and even trying to teach them all and everything. It help us to create memories.

That's right. Kids need things like toys to also build their mind, their imagination and learn from it. I just am sad for those kids who didn't have the privilege to play with toys.

Yes I loved my toys so much and my Mom told me I had a doll, not just a regular doll but a very UGLY DOLL and she said I loved it so much. She showed me a picture it and it really was ugly, much like a haunted doll. Who knows I had a supernatural connection with it just like the movies lol.

Did I enjoy playing with toys? Of course! All kids love to play with toys, even grown-up men collect toys. Toys are a big part of everyone's childhood it has an especial role in our development during our childhood stage. There are a lot of different kinds of toys and the only common thing is they are important for a child to develop imagination and creativity. I really loved playing with my toys when I was a kid. My favorite ones are action figures.

Yes, toys are part of everyone growing years and I just pity those that their parents couldn't one or two for them. It can really be depressing for such kids especially if you sight your friends playing with all sort of toys from your home.

I used to have Lego blocks. I loved to build buildings, vehicles and houses out of them. I also felt very happy whenever I receive big cars during Christmas. I don't know, I just loved playing them. My imagination back then maybe was very broad to the point where I enjoyed small things like this when I was a kid.

My sister and I used to have a big box of Lego blocks too. We even had those Lego series, that bring like a whole city or village, and those are great for recreating stories. We particularly loved one that recreated a Ghostbusters movie, and a pirate ship. And the best part, is that those Lego lasts like forever, we passed our Lego blocks to our little sister, and they were like new, she had so much fun with our toys too.

I had a lot of toys when I was a child since I was the third child and I got the toys my sister or brother didn't want anymore. Though they were hand-me-downs, I still enjoyed playing with all of them.

I can so relate my cousin was crying the other day that she needed new toys of her own. The issue is that her elder siblings sometimes snatched the toys which are their own though from her anytime they think she has insulted them. So I'm planning on buying her , her own toys.

I think most of us enjoyed playing some toys as a kid. When my siblings and I were kids, we actually have some little toys and we put them in a sack. When we felt like playing, we just get the sack and pour all of the toys on the floor. It was a great experience.

Yup, I pretty much enjoyed playing toys when I was a kid especially when I'm with my friends. Every time my parents would take me to the mall, I always ask them to buy me a toy. As a kid, playing toys is my greatest happiness. I would love to have as many toys as I could.

I think every kid likes to ask and beg for toys at the mall. I used to make my mom crazy about it, but she was very clever and made me earn my toys. She used them as a reward, and to earn them, I had to show that I was doing good as school, getting good grades, or helping out with home chores. I'm glad my mom showed me that nothing comes for free, and that I had to effort myself to earn my toys, because that made them even more valuable.

Absolutely yes, I loved playing with toys. I infact had a huge collection of toys myself but my mother gave them away to my cousin as he was born and I was a bit grown up. Toys give you beautiful memories and are a great pass time for any growing kid.

I grew up in the time where gadgets are not yet introduced. Because of this, I really enjoy playing with toys more than kids today. I don't care about the price of the toys, what's important to me in that time is I have toys to play with. I have robots, cars, trains, but my most favorite is my basketball. I love playing basketball with my brother inside our house and most of the time we broke some things because of playing basketball.

I think that playing with toys is a part of life of every child. When you are a kid, playing with toys and playing around with friends along with your toys is the part of the process of growing up. I always used to love to drive cars, motorcycles and trucks when i was a child and i had a huge collection of these toys. I could spend hours playing with toys. The other thing i was very fond of during my childhood was playing with the utensils in my mothers kitchen all the time.I used to get punished for messing up with all the utensils in the kitchen by my mother but i still managed to do that whenever i could.

I do. As a kid, I have a collection of building blocks and my favorite barbies and cooking sets. I also love to play outside although limited because I have asthma before. It was the best. Having toys as a kid was like heaven to me. My imagination and creativity went very wild during this time having a bunch of Transformers. WWE figures and cars. I often make certain scenarios and plays where they would interact with one another.

Usually, my sisters and I only had girl toys. Eventually, my cousins came to visit, and because they were boys, they brought their robots and cars. We had so much fun putting our dolls in their cars, or making Mazinger save Barbie from evil robots hahaha. Honestly, what an imagination we had. We could spend the whole day creating infinite stories, without watching TV, not needing Internet or whatever, just plain playing.

Yes, of course I really enjoyed playing with my toys back days especially that during my time before smartphones and other modern technologies are not popular and haven't been invented yet. I'm thankful that I have experienced playing a simple toys that makes me happy, than in this kid's today generation. I think half of numbers of children nowadays around the world wouldn't appreciate a simple toy.

I agree. Today's generation have a way different kind of imaginative play compared to those when modern technology was not yet as common. TV shows for kids and cartoons in the old days are not the same and not as varied nor as complicated as those available nowadays.

Yes. I think toys are very important in building the creativity in a child and for passing a child's time.

I do not think mobile phones should be classed as toys for children as they can be harmful to a developing brain for many reasons including addiction to the device. Unfortunately, many parents are giving mobile phones to their children, in order to quieten them down. This is harmful to the child and, in my opinion, should be actively encouraged against.

Normal toys are enough enjoyment for the average child and is adequate to pass their time and build their creativity.

I love playing with kids. It can be definitely fun to be around with the kids and their toys can keep things pretty fun too. So it seems to be a good idea on that note, to play and adjust with them. But we have to also teach kids when we can't play with them. That is also another exercise of some sort.

Toys! I really enjoyed having such presents as a kid. Whenever someone would buy me a toy present, I would stick around them the whole day and they would automatically become my friends. Probably that would have been the best way of kidnapping me. I liked to have girl toys and wash them, comb their hair, wash the clothes, feed them and tack them into bed. My memories with toys will just never be erased from my mind.

Totally feel you. My sister and I were just like that for bedtime. We took a bunch of our dolls, put them to sleep with us, and we even tell them stories hahaha. Next morning we certainly had to pick up all the dolls spreaded in the room, but it was great going to bed with a whole army of our favorite toys, is like being watched over them, and feeling super safe.

When I had them, Of course! Before I ever did have toys, my imaginations helped me enjoy my day. And when toys did come into my life, it made my imaginations move with creativity. I enjoyed cooking as if I cooked for my husband. I played a family game with cars that got themselves into weird situations where they may have powers or lovelife or even through tragic ones like being held captive somewhere. It really took most of my days where I forget I was even in the real world. I was stuck in this imagination of mine. Even now, I still daydream. But hey, at least the toys allowed me to produce creativity.

Of course I had a great time with toys. My sister and I used to get a Barbie emporium, and our favorite game was to create a Barbie village, with the pool, the house, the park, put all our Barbie and Ken dolls inside, and spend hours just creating stories about them. We just loved Barbies, because we liked to dress them up, exchange outfits, and we even made our own dresses and fashion. We had a wonderful entertained time with them.

There were times we made guns with rubber bands, a nail and pieces of timber. They looked like real guns and could shoot. You stretched the rubber band with a stone placed in the leather which was held by a nail. When you pulled the trigger, the nailet the rubber free which in turn released the stone. It used the technology of a catapult.

We also do that when we were kids but instead of stone, we used "Aratilis" fruit as bullet. Though it's an exciting game and a challenging one, I opt not to join any games that could hurt someone especially my playmates. I always play basketball, chess, track and field and other traditional "Pinoy Games".

Yeah I enjoyed playing with toys since I was very young. My most favorites would be either play-mobile and LEGOS. Apart from those I really like the toys where you would construct structures , cars , airplanes , buildings. I liked playing with swords too and pretend that I am a knight or a samurai. Good times. Also I really liked the ones where different kinds of animals would turn to robots although I can't remember their name right now.

Yes, I enjoyed playing with my toys, especially Action man toys. I would pick up two Action man figures and hold one of them in left and other one in my right hand. And then, I would make those two fight. After the fight, the two would reconcile and everything would be fine like the fight never occurred. I also enjoyed playing with other toys, my automobiles, for example. I really wish I could go back in time and play just one more time with my toys. Some of those automobiles that I mentioned above are still standing in my room. I did not break a single one. Whenever I see them, whenever I walk past them, I remember my childhood. Nostalgia strikes again! I want to go back!

I don't remember having many toys except for a small cloth doll. My mom didn't like to buy us toys, and thinks children don't need to have much toys to play with. I remember when we were young, my brother had a big teddy bear and I had the little cloth doll. Perhaps we didn't have much toys, so we didn't need to spend time cleaning up the toys like how my kids and I do now. We also liked to make up our toys with papers and boxes, and had those pretend play games with anything we could find at home. I don't know if there are kids who don't like to play with toys, I even enjoy playing with toys with my kids now as an adult.

I can't recall since it's been too long, but I'm sure I did. If I remember, the one thing that I was so excited to have back then was an Atari, a console to play digital games. Only a few get to own them, and I would like to have one since I am so interested in technology even when I was a kid.

Those good times are the ones I treasured the most. Toys plays an important role in my childhood and I can't imagine being here without toys. As far as I could remember, my favorite toy is my cash register bought by my parents for my 6th birthday. I patiently waited for that toy and I am really happy by the time I already received it. Playing with toys was pretty much all I did as a kid. I was born an introvert, and I never really enjoyed spending time with other kids outside of school. For me, socializing and going on playdates was more of a punishment than a reward. As a result, I loved to stay inside and just play with my toys or video games. I had a pretty big imagination as a kid, so I could use the same toys over and over again, playing out different scenarios and creating stories for them.

Later on I started playing less with actual toys and became more interested in video games, but I like collecting action figures even to this day.

When I was a kid, I was a bit frail and I could not seem to get along with other kids of my age. So a lot of times, I turn to toys in playtime. As a result I have created an imaginary world of my own with imaginary friend that made my childhood happy. And though soon enough, I learned to make friend, and soon, I learned that my imaginary friends aren't real, the plays we had stuck with through childhood. We all love toys and we really enjoy playing with toys during our childhood but the world is a bit different now. Most kids today prefer to play with gadgets or cellphones than with other toys. I am so glad that there are some institutions that launch a program that revives traditional Filipino games or "Larong Pinoy". I also admire our Youth council for launching a program that encourage the children to play the games that their parents played when they were young. It is also bridging generations that was separated by technology.
