Digital Clock

Digital Clock
We definitely can't do without checking time and technology have made it a lot easier to know and check time with the invention of digital clock. Our forefathers used the sun's height in the sky to check time in the olden days but now with technology, it's very easy to know the time.

Digital Clock is very easy to understand.
It is more complete than analog clock.
Some digital clock contains both date and day.
Digital clock looks more appealing to the eye.

Don't really know any cons of digital clock.

Useful especially when you are in a hurry

I know how to read analog clocks but sometimes I still get it wrong that's why I'm voting for Digital clock because you just have to read the numbers and no more 5,10,15,20,25 hahahha.

I have anxiety, and when a stranger ask me for tge time, I get pressured and read the analog clock wrong which is very embarassing.

Well, as stated above. It does not really have any disadvantage I can think of, it's way easier with digital clock. I would laugh at ppl who would prefer analog, like come on. It's 2018, not the cave days anymore. Our generation is growing and offering easier ways to use things and look at things, it's kind of stupid to say that analog is better.

When I Roll Over in Bed ... It's Easy to See What

I think analog clocks make great gifts. But when I roll over in the bed and I can easily read the numbers on the digital clock to know what time it is … you can't beat that!
Posted by cmoneyspinner on 11-24-2018

I like digital clock since it is one of the simplest ways that I can be able to know the actual time of the day. I understand that analog clock will look fancy and nice to some people, but I believe that it is something cool to have a digital clock.
Posted by Barida on 11-19-2018

I prefer digital clocks. Always keep one on the nightstand so I can just roll over and look at it when I need to in the morning. I do keep some analog clocks in my house though.

Digital Clock

Digital Clock is very easy to use by all means. For the fact that it's more compact and complete than analog clock is the most important feature I appreciate so much about all digital clock and it comes in many sizes.
Posted by Martinsx on 11-20-2018

More Convenient

I sometimes find it hard looking at the alarm clock every early in the morning. My eyes are usually blurry or a bit crossed. The hands of an analog clock are thin to the point where I find it hard to determine what the time is. Unlike in digital clocks, the numbers are big and easy to understand. I find it more convenient looking at a digital clock than the analog ones.
Posted by Vinsanity on 11-20-2018

Quick and easy

Digital clocks are quick and easy to read, especially if you're in a hurry. Of course, the importance of knowing how to read any clock, analog or digital is importance - but my preference gravitates towards digital.
Posted by amelia88 on 11-19-2018

No Mistake

I've had few instances of misreading the hands of an analog clock. Specially when the long had is at the 30 mins mark. The ones that have minimal writing on them are even worse to read. And when analog clocks stop working, you sometimes miss that they are not moving anymore since you only glance at the clock for a few seconds.
Posted by rlpzbeermoney on 12-01-2018

I vote for digital clock. it is easy to understand the time. It is high tech.
Posted by jeffreyjose48 on 11-20-2018
The cool thing about the digital clock is that it usually brings more complementary functions than the analog clock. In addition, analog watches are usually less accurate than digital watches.

Well I don't like thinking every time

I am not really good with numbers. And usually when I look at analog clocks, I had to multiply by 5. Whereas In digital clocks, I just have to look at them and I would know what time it is already.
Posted by emiaj55 on 11-20-2018

Digital Clock

I prefer a digital clock to an analog one. It is more accurate to actually tell the time and it's much easier to tell someone else what time it is. Also I like more that futuristic style to the classical one.
Posted by GeorgeDr on 12-02-2018

Faster to read

You can read the time in just a glace with digital clocks. Unlike in analig clocks, you have tk first get used to it. I'm using an analog watch but I still prefer looking at my phone's always on display as it is quicker to know what time it is.
Posted by hstinscdln on 11-21-2018

More efficient

Digital clocks are way more efficient than analogue clocks. At one glance, you can easily tell the time down to the exact minutes. Analog clocks are better in terms of design, but in this case I would rather trade design for efficiency.
Posted by astraherondale on 11-24-2018

Digital clocks are more better for me. They show you the date, time and also has an alarm which is what I REALLY need knowing that I am a late sleeper and I got school on the next day. Having a digital clock is more of the now than the analog clock. I know that it is important to have one but they do run the same feature. I think I would prefer though having an analog wrist watch than having a digital one knowing that the battery span of a digital clock will run out faster than a normal watch.
Posted by YoloBoy on 11-19-2018

Easier to read

I prefer digital clocks over analog ones because it's easier to read especially during morning when I just woke up and my mind is not fully awake. Also, most of the digital clocks have other features such as alarm, radio, built-in lamp, and others.
Posted by clarisseblogs on 11-21-2018

Gives me more information

I'm a person that doesn't care if something looks neat or not.

Sure, the analog clock looks neater. It looks more elegant. It fits in nicely with a lot of rooms. But I don't care about elegance.

IMO Functionality > Looks

The analog has every functionality I want in a clock. Easy to read time formats, tells the date, the day, a customizable alarm, etc. Would still take a digital clock over an analog any day.

Posted by axl2468 on 11-20-2018

Analogue clock for me.

The digital clock is easy to use, that's for certain, but I'll go with the analogue clock for everyday life functions. The analogue clock not only tells time with style, it keeps your mind working each time you take a look at your watch or clock.

That said, I'll go for digital clocks for sporting events and other functions that demand recording of time in real time. Digital clocks are great for such events as they have such functions built in. I won't imagine an analgue clock being used to record lap times in the olympics.

Posted by Franzel2oo on 11-21-2018

I prefer using a digital clock over an analog because a digital clock it's easier to see from far away. My poor eyesight makes it hard for me to spot the hands of an analog clock even if I wear my glasses.
Posted by knnon on 11-25-2018

I prefer digital clock. I can see right away the time. I can see it right on with the digital clock.
Posted by achikeziah on 12-04-2018

Digitized Me!

I would have to go with Digital clock. Not only is it simpler to read, it could also, potentially contain more information like the date and whether it is night or day. Now, I said simpler and not easier because reading Analog clocks are also easy because we have been trained to read them since we were little kids.
Posted by pencilneckgeek on 12-12-2018

Digital Clock for the win.

I prefer digital clock over the analog clock for a very simple reason, the digital clock is very easy to understand you don't need to use your brain cell to read the clock. Unlike the analog clock sometimes I need to look twice just to make sure that I have read the time properly.
Posted by antonToledo on 12-06-2018

Analog Clock

Analog Clock
Analog clock was probably first invented before the digital clock. It boldly have all the hours of written on the clock for easy viewing and reading of time.

Most home have at least one analog clock for time checking.

Analog clock looks classic.
It's most used to teach kids how to read time.

Analog clock battery seems to run down quickly.
If it's not properly hanged, it may fall and damage.

I love the classic style of an Analog clock. I like the faint ticking sound and the simple design. I don't enjoy the bright light that digital clocks give out. They also have a very "technical" feel. I prefer an analog clock to a digital clock for sure.
Posted by Mahshiemonalisa on 11-27-2018

I grown up watching the analog clock. And it can be definitely a good approach for the keeping up with those clocks. You can see that some of the time such clocks are not only good with presentation but also they can be good enough for watching the time right way.
Posted by overcast on 11-19-2018

more used to it

I'm not sure but I think I'm just more used to seeing this type of clock so I feel like it's easier for me to process what I'm seeing. I don't think I've ever had a digital clock before so I can't really compare, but I feel like I would have an easier time just looking at the arms of the clock rather than reading numbers, and also I prefer it because it doesn't make the room feel like a gym.
Posted by Wubwub on 11-19-2018

I don't have a digital clock in our house because as far as I can remember thru my childhood years up to now we've been using only Analog Clocks.

Analog Clocks are more stylish and elegant than Digital Clocks, specially when hung in the living room.

Posted by Kakashi2020 on 11-21-2018

I see them more in schools, more in offices and other departments, homes etc...Anyways,I grew up with Analog clocks so I prefer them.
Posted by MittensFX on 11-19-2018

It is better

Analog clock has been with us long time ago. I prefer analog clock because I used to it and I love it even there is digital clock in the market.
Posted by mark86 on 11-19-2018

I would prefer an analog clock over a digital clock. It is very classy and formal to see. Also, I grew up with this kind of clock and I got used to it so I'm more comfortable with it.
Posted by ajahcuizon on 11-19-2018
I agree with you. Analog clocks are very classic and beautiful that if you put them as your wall clocks or wristwatch, it would still suit perfectly.

This one

I prefer the analog clock as it is very comfortable in my car eyes. I don't really like digital clocks as try use up more energy from the battery source compared to the analog clock.
Posted by theresajane on 11-19-2018

I like the classic things, vintage looking stuff so I like analog better.
Posted by nrnlss on 11-19-2018

Our analog clock is older than me. We just change the batteries but it has been a constant useful device that we have depended on through the years.
Posted by iambeth on 11-20-2018

It teach more than time.

I prefer analog clock than the digital one. Though digital clock are easy to use, just a glimpse and you know what it is. However, analog clocks are more beneficial. It will not only teach you time but also teach you how to count and how to read Roman numeral as well. I have observed that children who grew up only using digital clocks don't know how to read analog clocks.
Posted by burgosmichael2407 on 11-20-2018

old is gold

They say old is gold and I agree a hundred percent in this case. An analog clock is very classic and cannot be compared to a digital one. Can you imagine the look a digital clock will have on your pretty wall? Well definitely not good. An analog clock will however give your house a very beautiful look. It also looks very nice when tied on your wrist. These clocks are also very instrumental in helping kids pass mathematics in school. It is easy for them to learn since they can see the clock on the wall or on their wrist each single day.

Analog clocks steal the show

I have grown up with analog clocks. While at school, the analog clock was our best friend. In the evenings, the giant clock used to strike 4 to tell us that the school's time was over and we happily headed home. Analog clocks are classy look wise and also the seconds ticking make us realize the importance of time.

Digital clocks somehow seem to rush us through time. They more or less remind us of the stopwatch.

Posted by kaushikangara on 11-19-2018

For me, it looks cooler than digital. I think digital is easy to understand but looks simple. For other specially.lazy and busy people would choose digital for take lesser time to look but I can understand analog so I think its cooler if you know how to use it.
Posted by Wenkx03 on 11-27-2018

The classic

Analog if you ask me. There are some thing in life that you just need to keep old-school. We are living in a digital age and some old-school is always a good thing.
Posted by koki12346 on 11-25-2018

In my opinion analogue clocks are more precise than digital ones .Analog makes it easy to visualize time differences and appraise large and small differences of hours or minutes.
Posted by csk81 on 11-19-2018
I do not believe that analogue clocks are more precise than the digital clocks. In analogue clocks you cannot exactly a notice of seconds. However, om digital clocks, you wil always notice the seconds. I also believe that it is easy to read the digit on the digital clock than watch the hour-minute hands on analogue clock.
Posted by vinaya on 11-19-2018
I agree with you digital is more precise than analog clock.Digital is more classic to me and give us exact time date and day quite convenient to use.
Posted by lovely on 11-20-2018
If you understand that the digital clocks are now synchronized to perfection and accuracy you can be wrong with what you said about the analog clocks. We have 3 wall clocks at home and they are all analog and 1 digital clock. Most of the time the 3 analog clocks do not have the same reading of time even if we had adjusted them last week. Maybe it is the battery that is giving the problem of accuracy to the analog clocks.
Posted by Corzhens on 12-11-2018
I still prefer the classic. Yes, digital clocks are very convenient as they give you the time immediately without looking at the hands of the clock. But, I still don't want to be lazy when it comes out reading time. It's actually fun and challenging for me.
Posted by theresajane on 11-19-2018
I prefer digital because analogue clocks gives you disturbing sound (when the second's hand moves), however, digital clock clocks are silent. I think our mind reacts to digital clock than analogue clocks.
Posted by vinaya on 11-19-2018
I prefer analog too because this is what i used to have. Even in wrist watch, for me it is nicer to wear a analog type of watch simple but elegant. Analog for me is morelikely for those sportist individual.
Posted by mhingnhormz on 11-19-2018
I also view wrist watches in analog as something classic and elegant. I don't know but for some reason, I always think that whenever I use digital clocks, I become lazy in reading time.
Posted by theresajane on 11-19-2018
I prefer using analog wristwatches as well. I have been used to looking at the moving hands and it's more accurate in counting one's pulse and respiration rate.
Posted by iambeth on 11-20-2018
I prefer difital clocks for alarm clocks. But I like having analog wristwatches. It look more classic and more stylish. Same as wall clocks at home, it looks better. But I am guilty of just looking at the time at my cellphone most of the time.
Posted by thejoyrevolution on 11-19-2018
There has always been a rivalry between lovers of analog and digital watches, but basically, everything depends on personal tastes and needs and has nothing to do with the precision or durability of watches because that depends on the quality of the materials and the mechanisms.
Posted by mcnasci24 on 11-22-2018
I prefer analog clock because that's what we've been using ever since. Our house is old design so analog fit its appearance.
Posted by vhinz on 11-19-2018
I like Analog clock more than digital clock because digital clock is not reliable for me. I prefer the old clock than the new one.
Posted by mark86 on 11-19-2018
Well,I wonder why you thing a digital item isn't reliable when it more precise than the analog can even be incorrect sometimes until we set it on.
Posted by lovely on 11-20-2018
I still prefer to use Analog clock. This is the clock that we have been using since I was born. This one looks better and can be displayed in your home.
Posted by superlicca on 11-20-2018
I go for the digital clock because it to a large extent very precise and it doesn't need much setting and resetting it just what I will really like to own.I prefer it than the analog ones.
Posted by lovely on 11-20-2018
The digital clock is designed for people looking for fresh and original accessories for daily use. But it is a design that is not advisable to take on formal occasions, because they have a very casual and informal design.
Posted by mcnasci24 on 11-22-2018
We have an analog wall clock at home and it's been with us for more than 20 years. These wall clocks are durable pieces and they can double up as home decor. Of course, I also use digital clocks on my cellphone, computer, and tablet and they do provide the exact time. If we need the exact time, we normally use the digital time as reference as we can have varying interpretations of the analog clock. I also use an analog wristwatch which is fine for most daily use.
Posted by chatbox on 11-20-2018
I like the digital clock better. Handy and easy. Unlike analog clocks that are really big and very complicated. There are analog clocks that are very complicated to read. The digital clock is also perfect for room use an analog clock is perfect in the living room and can be used as a design.
Posted by Alymae on 11-20-2018
I do like the practicality of digital clocks but I still prefer the analog clocks. Maybe because I am used to having only analog clocks in our home since I was a kid. It has been a fixture that we look at when we need to know the time.
Posted by iambeth on 11-20-2018
I choose digital clock. It is easy to tell the time. You can get no wrong on understanding the time.
Posted by jeffreyjose48 on 11-20-2018
Both has pros and cons about conditions and situations of our everyday lives. I personally prefer to use a digital wrist watch for everyday use because it would be easy to just glance at it and know the exact time instantly. For formal events, I use analog wrist watches. I mean it would really depend on the person's choice and usability and also some people nowadays are concerned about fashion. I could use any but it differs on any situation.
Posted by Marako0406 on 11-20-2018
Even if I used to see some analog clock but it's more easier to identify the time as sometimes you will have to look carefully when using the analog clock if the hands of the clock is positioned correctly. I prefer to just look instantly or easy to glance the time.
Posted by nekonieden on 11-20-2018
My preference is digital because it is able to display more info such as time, date, day of the week, month and even year. Some model can display multiple time zones. For analog watch to have all these features would require ridiculous complications. Analog watch has an inherent flaws, it can display time only in 12 hour format so you need to rely on external data, such as the sun, in order to read analog watch accurately, while digital watch could display time in 24 hour format.
Posted by kelvz1984 on 11-20-2018
The analog clock has been with us for a long time now and that’s where I learned how to read time. But the digital clock seems to be getting more popular than the analog clock that I see some children reading the time with the digital clock but they couldn’t read the time when it is an analog clock. I wonder where the next generation is going to with that change in our life courtesy of technology.
Posted by Corzhens on 11-21-2018
I prefer analog clocks including analog wrist watches. It's quite challenging and entertaining as well to read time through these watches. However, you can't use this kind of clocks for stop time or timer.
Posted by burgosmichael2407 on 11-21-2018
The digital clock is easy to check the time but for me, I want a clock that is classic and this is the Analog clock. This was the clock that my mom used to teach me how to read a time. And I think kids should use this kind of clock first before the digital clock.
Posted by superlicca on 11-22-2018
They have the same use but they don't have the same looks. That's where I choose what to use between the two in certain situations. Like for example, for a formal meeting an analog type of wrist watch best suits the situation to make you look professional. On the other hand, in a sports scenery you would choose digital wrist watch to know the time faster and more accurately. I don't mind clocks at home but digital clocks help you get out of the bed early in the morning.
Posted by gutzman on 11-22-2018
I can’t keep a digital clock in my bedroom. I’ve had problems with sleeping for most of my life, so whenever I couldn’t sleep, I’d always check the time which only made things worse. I’d always end up thinking to myself, “Oh my gosh it’s already 3:00 AM! I should be asleep by now!” That judging only made it harder to fall asleep. With analog clocks, I can’t see what time it is if the light is off, and I’m not going to check my phone for the time because I have enough self-discipline. Getting rid of my digital clock actually helped fix my sleep habits.
Posted by Denis_P on 11-22-2018
The analog clock is the best choice if your tastes are classic or you like elegance. There is a wide range of models, from designs that are more informal and others that are pure sophistication. I prefer the analog clock, however, I can't keep either the analog or the digital clock in my bedroom. The ticking sound of the analog clock distracts me, and the light from the digital clock keeps me awake. Thus, I keep an analog clock in my living room.
Posted by mcnasci24 on 11-22-2018
Well, as stated above. It does not really have any disadvantage I can think of, it's way easier with digital clock. I would laugh at ppl who would prefer analog, like come on. Posted by mftmadam on 11-26-2018
For me its best to use the analog clock and know how to tell the right time using this before we can use the digital clock. I had a friend who always advised us that if ever we will give her a gift like a watch, she want it digital. She said because it looks so in these days. But later then she reveal her secret that she just really don't know how to read or to tell what really time it is if using an analog clock. Though we decided to give her an analog watch, she 's still not using it until now and said that she is not ready yet to study it lol. So stubborn ahaha.
Posted by romy_ter on 11-27-2018
Analog clock it easier to use and manipulate since you can keep it beside your bed. It is easier to wake on time when it alarms.
Posted by luv2xacosta on 11-30-2018
@luv2xacosta. I think you can also see a digital clock beside your bed and it also has an alarm. In fact I think it also has a radio, so you can set the radio as your alarm clock. Off course I prefer a digital alarm clock. The biggest advantage is that it uses electricity. The analog clock uses batteries, so you need to keep buying batteries which is an extra expense. A digital clock also can have other gadgets on it like a radio and an alarm clock. I also can see no disadvantage to a digital clock.
Posted by jaymish on 11-30-2018
I love digital clock. It high technology. I can clearly see the time when it is digital.
Posted by achikeziah on 12-04-2018
Personally, I'm used to digital watches where I can can check the time much more precisely and quicker.
