Do you like to cook?

Do you like to cook?
Cooking requires a great amount of practice as well as hard work. Some people excel in this field and can very easily cook multiple cuisines. They love to cook and experiment with new dishes. Cooking is their passion of life.

But I do not like to cook at all. I never enjoy doing it and the condition worsens during summers. I hate to sweat that comes while cooking and this further keeps me away from kitchen.

I love to cook!

There are times I don't especially feel like it, but 9 times out of 10 I enjoy cooking. I love coming up with creative meals that hit the spot!

I know small cooking

Hello Have a wonderful day.

I know small cooking. Like some potatoes related food recipe or rice related food recipe or egg related food recipe or cow meat related food recipe or chicken related food recipe. Some times I stay single on the home and than I cook for personally for my self. These are the recipes I follow.

Thanks Centurion

Most of the time, I like to cook

It is fairly enjoyable most of the time, if I'm cooking for other people. I sometimes like cooking for myself, because then I get to experiment with new recipes or just get creative.

The part I'd like to avoid is the clean up afterward. If someone else would clean and do the dishes, I'd do all the cooking.

Posted by Zyni on 06-28-2017

It's time consuming but yes

Well it does take forever to cook. It takes a while to wash the dishes afterwards, and sometimes cooking can really make a real mess in the kitchen so there's a lot of time and effort involved. But I love cooking because it's rewarding. Cooking is art.

It's amazing!

I absolutely love to cook. Especially for my partner, my friends or my family. My grandmother and mom always kept teaching me how to cook different dishes as I was growing up. I loved watching my nan making meals and prepping food. She is so good in the kitchen and was always my inspiration.

Cooking lets you express yourself in a different way and it lets your creativity go wild. I love not using recipes and just making new dishes myself. Finding out new combinations and flavors that work together is very fun.

Me and my partner each cook a few times per week depending on our schedule so I don't always cook all alone. We both love it!

cooking is an art

I like cooking and trying out new dishes. But I am must have someone around to do the chores such as chopping, grinding and cleaning. I create my own recipes and when they turn out successful I share them with friends and even creates posts on them for my virtual world. I go online to search for new recipes and also watch cooking shows on tv channels.

I love to cook!

Don't get me wrong, I like getting served. But I thoroughly enjoy cooking on my own. It's a nice way to pass the time when I'm looking to relax. Specifically, I love cooking on Sunday's as that's my only real day to relax alone. Usually, if I'm not putting food on the grill, I'll make a nice red sauce spaghetti or white sauce alfredo pasta depending on my mood or company.

Cooking, therefore, is a favorite pass time for me!

Love it

I really enjoy cooking. I do have this problem of not following recipes though and I should probably get over that but I like to figure out things myself. My favorite things to cook are probably Pizza, spaghetti, all things fried, and burgers.

I love cooking

I love to cook and try out new recipes. My family gathers in the kitchen on the weekends cooking up new dishes and enjoying each others company. We make it a family affair and even the little ones get involved and help us cook.

I like going to restaurants as well, but at home, I can make things more suited to my own tastes and create healthier versions as well. I also enjoy cooking for others and it makes me so happy when they tell me it's good.
Posted by lilac123 on 06-23-2017

Yeah, I like it

I'm not exactly what you might call a "Master Chef" but I know what to do when I'm in the kitchen. My main object is not to burn the food and not to starve. If I can do that, I'm satisfied and according to my parents, my friends and my girlfriend I do a good work. :)
Posted by WildSpirit on 06-23-2017

It's enjoyable!

Though I am not really good at cooking, I think cooking is enjoyable. I like the process from finding recipes, preparing and also the cooking. Sometimes I think cooking makes me feel more satisfied than actually eating the food I cook. Moreover, if the food I cook can make someone else happy and satisfied, I am even happier.

I love cooking

I definitely really enjoy cooking. Here at home my wife is the one who usually cooks in the day to day. But whenever I can, I like to prepare some food, especially when I'm alone. I really like the idea of being able to eat something that you have prepared yourself. I particularly think that I am improving my cooking skills with each passing day and I think I would one day be an excellent cook from home.

Passion about cooking

I am a homemaker since I gave birth to my son 10 years ago. Since then, I had been learning to cook and bake from scratch because I didn't have time to learn from my mom her cooking skills when I was working full time then.

I surely regretted for being lazy to learn from her Nonya recipe cuisine. She is pretty good at spicy food. Nevertheless, recipe websites had rescued me. I learned from scratch how to fry fish without oil popping on my face, how to bake muffins which turned out as hard as rocks and cinnamon rolls that were not edible.

It took trials, errors and time plus practice to cook perfect recipes. Now I can cook Vietnamese food, Chinese and Malay food too. I cook twice a day, 6 days a week.

I don't buy recipe books because they are expensive. Instead, I rely on recipe websites with photos and step by step instructions .

Posted by peachpurple on 06-23-2017

Like, not love.

Well, while I wouldn't say that I love to cook I do like making home cooked meals more as opposed to frozen meals or going out to eat. Frozen meals are typically lacking in both quality and nutrition, and eating out can get very expensive so I think that cooking at home is one of the best options. I typically only cook once or twice a week, in what I call "meal prep" days. I use these days to prepare cooked meals for the following couple of days, arranged into multiple containers and portions. Not only is this a good way to save time but the portion control is great for maintaining a healthy diet.

As long as I know what I'm doing

I would definitely need a clear, plain English recipe in order to cook anything elaborate. I turn to the microwave more than I should for this reason.

I love cooking

I love cooking, it's one of the things I like to do. I even have a blog where I post all my recipes. My passion for cooking comes from childhood, I have always had curiosity and desire to cook. I learned to cook by myself and since childhood I like to invent new dishes and try new flavors.

I love cooking

I have always loved cooking. I remember trying fun recipes with my mum when I was a kid. My love for cooking comes from my mom. She is very passionate about cooking and I learnt so many recipes from her. I also followed a cooking course last year. I wanted to know more about cooking and learn how to prepare new dishes.

Only when I know what I'm doing.

Yes, I love to cook though it’s usually only when I’m cooking with a recipe or I know what I’m cooking. If I’m cooking from scratch without a recipe and just going freestyle, no, I hate cooking because I completely collapse and don’t even know what to add to make it taste like I want. Therefore, I love cooking only when I know what I’m doing or have a recipe, if not I don’t which is never because I never cook without a recipe, therefore I love cooking always.
Posted by timstargraal on 06-26-2017

I sure do.

I'ts funny to experiment with food!, I do like to make my own creations and the flavors, mmmm, yes i like to cook.
Posted by StolenKid on 06-23-2017

Yes, i'm a man and i do love to cook. You can imagine that my wife loves it even more! You are right you need to practice to have a great result. The truth is that not all times my food can be eaten but sometimes my food it's delicious.

I like to Cook

I like to make any kind of sugary thing like cookies, cup cakes, cakes and all those things. I enjoy doing it, all the recipes and the different tricks to make a good meal. So sad that I can't cook a lot of things.
Posted by luispas on 06-23-2017

I'm an aspiring patisserie !

Baking and preparing all sorts of cute sweets is my number one weakness. It's kind of relaxing, so whenever I'm stressed or feeling in a particular bad mood I go for it!

It's my hobby and I love it to pieces, and as a consequence I'm the go-to lady when it comes to making all sorts of sugary-sweet delicacies at home, and it's a reputation I enjoy.

When it comes to regular cooking I have less expertise, but I still love doing it.

Posted by VintageRose on 06-23-2017

I love it!

It's really fun to me to prepare my own meals, I always have a good time cooking and trying to make something tasty. Of course there are days when I don't even feel like doing a sandwhich but generally I love to cook.
Posted by reginafalange on 06-23-2017

I love to cook a good lunch or dinner for my family and myself, it is very fun and I love to have a good time doing something tasty that I will enjoy with my family, all then things that I do are from recipes that I get in the internet and I love to use them to eat a lot of new stuff, the things that I like to cook the most are the desserts.
Posted by BatmanWayne on 06-24-2017

Yes, I do.

I like to cook, I find it good and useful, since in my place I live alone so I have to cook for my self by the time I find it good.
Posted by Moaz on 07-21-2017

Yes I love to cook

One of my favourite rooms in my home is my kitchen. I spend a lot of time here. I love trying new recipes from different countries. Right now, I'm learning how to make Asian dishes - spicy seafood - Yum!

To keep an eye on me while she worked, my nanny always asked me to put my reading chair across the open kitchen door and I would watch her cut and slice and mix. She taught me all I know about cooking and instilled the love of cooking in me.

Posted by joegirl on 07-01-2017

Oh, yeah!

Although I'm not a celebrity in the kitchen I know how to handle very well at the command of one. Cooking is an activity that relaxes me (it's almost a hobby for me) because I always like to try to create new things / dishes and according to people who have already eaten my food, I'm okay as a cook (and I'm okay with that, haha).
Posted by wiseagent on 09-16-2017

I enjoy doing so.

I began cooking while I was a kid and this is how I came to enjoy cooking. There are times that I don't really want to stop cooking and this is the reason I cook the things that I eat always.
Posted by Barida on 12-09-2018

I really love to cook and I can really say I can cook quite a lot of recipes and other recipes that are unfamiliar to me supposedly I have all the ingredients I need. Sometimes I do experiment on the flavors too but mostly my dishes are prepared with lots of spices and really tasteful although sometimes I got really go way overboard on putting salt and pepper that it turns out to be extra salty.
Posted by narutos3nn1n on 08-26-2017

I love it - just hate the cleaning up!

I do love cooking - I find it to be an outlet for creative expression and a chance to enjoy different cuisines. The only part I hate about cooking is the amount of dishes it creates, and then having to wash all of those. My house right now doesn't have a dishwasher, so I have to do it all by hand which can prove to be quite time consuming.
Posted by amelia88 on 10-18-2018

I agree. I like to cook. My father was a cook. I inherited his gift of cooking.
Posted by menchuuy58 on 11-11-2018

Not any more

I used to cook for a living. I spent years in hot kitchens cooking for other people and consequently the novelty soon wore off.

I would much rather people cooked for me now as I detest being stuck in the kitchen. I do it because I have to and not because I enjoy it.

Posted by littlewitch66 on 06-24-2017

It's a necessity, but I hate it

This one is honestly pretty simple. I was never domestically gifted and while I can cook and clean at basic levels (certainly, I won't starve if you only gave me basic ingredients) I rarely have the time or inclination to do so and when I do, I focus on the cleaning because I'd rather not live in a dirty environment. With this in mind, I don't enjoy cooking more than I have to and only very rarely cook outside of necessity.

For similar reasons, I would never consider working in food service (but make a very distinct point of being nice to those who do because of it, I do not envy those in the field). I've taken foodservice-centric cooking classes in school, and hated every bit of it.

Sometimes but not always

My experience in the kitchen is poor, I consider myself a great chef when it comes to sweet dishes or breakfast meals because they are easier to prepare and faster but creating new dishes or to prepare complex meals it's not my passion at all.
Posted by cubo on 04-02-2018

I really find it hard to cook and I tend to get bored even when I was just starting. Sometimes, I just want to cook but I don't really find it as an enjoyable hobby. I can cook but not that good as the other people. Maybe there were just other people who are not into cooking, and I belong to those people.
Posted by ajahcuizon on 10-18-2018

Not like

I don't like to cook. I disagree. I just love to eat.
Posted by jeffreyjose48 on 11-11-2018

Of course yes! I love cooking because I hardly have passion for eating outside. I can't even remember the last time I ate outside my home. Before I got married, it wasn't in my interest as a man to go out having a diet, but always cooked whenever I wanted to observe a diet and discovered that I was living a better life than that of most men out there.

You are lucky to have saved a lot of money by not eating out. We had the habit of going out once a week and sometimes we even order food for delivery. That is just to get a respite from the drudgery of cooking because I know that kitchen work is not easy. But come to think of it that if we do not eat out, we can save a lot of money because food is very expensive especially in classy restaurants.
Posted by Corzhens on 11-05-2018
As long as I don't mess something up, sure, it can be a really fun experience, especially when you are trying to create something new and special without books or internet, just you and your imagination. Well, some skill as well.
Posted by Makefort on 06-23-2017
I will cook but it's not something that I have a passion for doing. I will do it because of necessity and I will still put out my best effort in spite of not being fully in tune with the act because I would still love for it to be delicious as can be.
Posted by explorerx7 on 06-23-2017
At the moment, I'm not actually too sure! I've never really gotten into cooking in depth due to a lack of need and time. I usually feast on pre-made foods and whatever I can buy from the shop. Sure its not as healthy but I don't gain weight (heck, I'm still under weight) and as long as I avoid the over-processed, low quality, sugary stuff I'm generally fine. But hopefully when I have more time, money and a bigger kitchen, I will get into it. So yeah, that's why I am commenting as opposed to voting because I'm yet to find out whether I want to get into cooking or not and whether I will enjoy it.

I use to cook a lot when my children were growing up and I really enjoyed it. Now that I am older and my fiance does 95% of the cooking I don't care to cook at all. He enjoys it and he is good as it so I let him do it.

I do enjoy cooking occasionally but that is about it. I

I love to cook and experiment with new recipes. I love to work with spices and flavor. I have been cooking for a long time so I can cook pretty well. I think it's fun and satisfying to cook a meal for other people and watch them enjoy it. Some people say that they can't cook, but anyone can. If you can follow a recipe you can cook. Knowing how to set temperatures for certain foods like boiling water before adding macoroni , as an example, is an important step in getting your food right. Preheating your oven for most foods determine how it will turn out also. I love cooking for the holidays and making things like candy and fudge for gifts.

I enjoy cooking, eating my self cooked meals as well as serving my cooked meals to the guest. I like to try new dishes as well. Cooking is very therapeutic. When you cook you will be able to get away from stress, anxiety and depression.

I really wish I could think like you. But no matter how much I try, cooking always troubles me . I may start with great zeal and positivity but I always end up tired and a bit stressed out.

Can you suggest me of some ways that can help me to learn to enjoy cooking?

I enjoy cooking and spending my time in the kitchen. I like everything about cooking, including peeling potatoes and washing dishes. Of course, my cooking is far from the art, but I improve myself, watching cooking shows and online courses.

I love cooking. I always do the cooking when I'm at home or at my mom's. I learned how to cook from my mother. She cooks really good and delicious meals. I also love to try out new recipes. The internet has been a huge help for me when it comes to cooking. :)

Cooking is what I started while I was still less than 13 and it is an act that I have carried with me till this day. I do not enjoy meals prepared by others that much because I enjoy cooking and I enjoy eating delicious meals I prepare. I understand that some people find cooking tiring and a difficult task, but I think it is a result of not starting from an early age to learn how to cook. I understand that cooking can be learnt when we are matured, but at that stage, it would only take someone who is determined to learn it.

I thank my mother for teaching us how to cook from our young age for it has made it possible for almost everyone at our place to cook food that others can eat and give good remarks. So, I am that type of man that I enjoy cooking food.
Posted by Barida on 09-11-2017
I like to cook if there is enough time and money to buy the ingredients that will be needed to cook the food, though it is not every time that i cook.
Posted by babyright on 12-15-2017
I love to cook not because I'm a woman but because I enjoy my personal cooked meals.Cooking my meals gives me the opportunity to add or subtracts ingredients I need or I don't need to include unlike the mass production out there that anything goes.Meals one prepares is more hygienic, nutritious and delicious and as a mum, my kids can only learn to cook through me.So I just love to cook even daily.

To be honest, I really like to cook but the problem is that cooking doesn’t like me. I remember the first time I cooked rice, it was black. You can imagine the disgust of my husband. I was just fortunate that he is a forgiving and loving person. My next try is the fried egg which I got perfect. But the next episodes had undesirable results so I quit the kitchen. Now, it is my husband who is in charge of the kitchen and I just handle the dining table. Fortunately, my husband turns out to be a good cook.

Do you like to cook: Yes, I love to cook but it should have enough time for it. I don't like to cook if it is lack of time to do like for example, my partner want me to cook something for lunch and it was already pass 11, I really hate that and I won't cook most of the time alone, we did it together then. I usually plan first on what I am going to cook and prepare the ingredients a head of time.
