Dogs are better than Cats.

Dogs are better than Cats.
I believe in dogs. They are beautiful animals, and if trained they're even more beautiful. Dogs are the best kind of pets in my opinion. Unlike cats, dogs actually love you and care about you. They also allow us to cuddle them. They are easily trained to do so many things, meaning more entertainment. They can eat on demand, roll, sit up, lie down, fetch your daily news paper and even high five. Who doesn't want their buddy to high five them? I think dogs are more fun for the kids as well. Especially at the park. I've owned both before and my kids seem to have built a way stronger relationship with our pet dog. Dogs also have emotions. God knows what they're thinking about, but they have emotions. They protect you, and I feel like this is one of the best qualities of a dog. When my kids jump in the pool, my dog jumps in after them and pull them to the steps. It's the funniest thing ever. This is why I love Dogs and don't understand "CAT PEOPLE". I don't judge you or anything like that, I just don't understand the love for cats. Please feel free to explain this love to me.

I love them both but I'm more of a dog lover

I love both cats and dogs because they are both cute! I love petting them and playing with them. However, I do prefer dogs a bit more over cats because dogs are more playful and are more attached to humans than cats.

Dogs know when you're mad, or happy, or sad and they adopt to what you feel. They are also smarter than cats in terms of being trained and taught different tricks. Dogs are also more loving animals as compared to cats. That's why I love them more.

I love dogs

Well, yes! I mean, in my opinion... I don't think this question can have an objective answer. Some people prefer dogs, other prefer cats. Personally, I love dogs! And not just because I have one, since I owned both dogs and cats... I just find them more charming! They brough me more love and more fun! Cats are nice too, but if I have to choose, dogs all the way!

Dogs

Personally, I prefer dogs over cats although I love cats as well. I disagree with your statement that unlike cats, dogs love and care about people. I have known cats who were very affectionate with me, who would come cuddle with me and try to hold onto my arm when I got up from my desk to stop me from leaving. However, I also know cats who were very wary of humans and only interacted with me if I had food, so it really goes both ways. However, I prefer dogs because I love being outside and going for walks so it's nice to have a dog accompany me.

Dogs are life

Dogs are infinitely better than cats... In every single possible and imaginable way. Dogs are more caring, more attentive, more beautiful and more faithful to us.

I have dogs since I was a child and I have always enjoyed them. I currently have one and it is already over two years old. :-)

I definitely think so! Dogs are much better than cats. I particularly do not like cats and I do not understand what people see so special in this animal. Dogs are smart, mates, protectors and friends.

A Dog is Man's Best Friend

When I was growing up this was a very common expression. "A dog is a man's best friend." There's a reason for that. The best way to explain it is by describing a scene from the 2000 film "Gladiator", which starred Russell Crowe.

If you've seen the movie, then you will remember the battle that began the movie. If you recall, Maxiumus (Russell Crowe's character) took his dog into battle WITH HIM!

Can you imagine taking a cat with you on the battle field? A cat will look at you and be like: “Don't even think about it!” :)

Dogs are arguably the best pet and pretty useful as well. Dogs help us to feel secure and we can sleep without any fear of theft. In India, dogs are preferred to cats every time as its way better than cats.

Just love dogs more

I love both of them, but I think I'm more of a dog person. Cats are great and they love to cuddle a lot, but so do dogs. Dogs are also generally a lot more playful and loyal to their owners, and as a person with an active lifestyle, I love to take my dog to morning jogs as well. I don't think I could do that with a cat lmao.

Dogs

For me, dogs rule the pets' world. I've heard that if people hate cats it's because they've never had one before and in my case, it's true. Since I was a little kid, my family hated cats and they never let me had one, my grandmother was the first to tell me that I couldn't have a cat, only dogs were allowed by her. And now, I hate a bit the cats.

Dogs are way better

Well, dogs are better than cats for many reasons, one of them is that they can defend you if someone is attacking you..also they will remember you even if you didn't see each others in years, (Not to be over just months) also dogs are loyal to their owners, the cats are not loyal like the dogs..also dogs are adventurous and can discover new stuff. That is why I love and prefer dogs than cats.

Dog are mans bestfriend. We have both dogs and cats but I prefer dogs. I love dogs and we have five of them. Cats are mentally retarded, sweet now and claw you later. Our cat like to seek attention by rubbing on your legs and they like to sit on your lap and when you pet them, after a while they will jump and claw your hand. Unlike our dogs who love to be pet and cuddle. They wake me up every morning and they always greet me everytime I get home. Dogs are lovable. They also guard our house.

Absolutely!!

I strongly agree that dogs are better than cats. Primarily dogs protect their owners and their houses to bad people like intruders and criminals. Dogs also never leave their owner alone and they feel depressed every time we leave them. That's why dogs are mans best friend because of their sweet and protective character.

I'm a dog person, but to each his own

As the title says, I'm a dog person, but I understand cat people as well. Ironically, I have a cat and not a dog since I live in an apartment and can't really have a dog. I do love cats as well, but most of the times, I find that she just doesn't care for me outside of her food and water. She just does her own thing. With dogs I had, they're the most loyal and amazing friends. And they truly are friends, they have their personality, and are always happy to see you.

I'm pretty sure about that.

I have a very close relationship with dogs because they are part of my family since I was a child and they remain very present in my life until today (and certainly won't leave it so soon). But regardless of the love I feel for dogs, I really think they're better than cats because I hate animals that don't know how to recognize what their owners do to see them always well and happy.

For me, dogs are better

Dogs to me have always felt more like companions than cats have. Granted I've never owned a cat, but all of the cats that I've interacted with never showed much preference to me. I've been told thats because I'm not their owner and they're on guard around me, which I can understand. At least in my eyes I want my pet to be a friend, not a roommate.

Dogs are man's best friend

Personally, I will always choose a dog over any other pet in this living world because I do believe that they are the best pet God has given to man for his leisure and company. Dogs are very loving to be with especially when you have one that is well trained, it would almost be as if you had another person with you at home because of the things dogs can do for you.

Most times, dogs are referred to as man's best friend and that assertion is 100 percent correct. They are man's best friend, your dog could die for you should the opportunity arise without thinking twice. A well trained dog can do some minimal house work for you, it would help you arrange the house and make it look tidy.

Also dogs have a good bonding relationship with kids. If you had noticed, some dogs don't react to kids hitting them, they would just turn their head and still keep it for them to hit again but the case is not the same when an adult does so. They are also good in cuddling kids. Dogs are excellent human companion and I love them so much.

Agree

A dog really is a man's best friend. They will really take care of you and protect you at any time and they won't betray you. They're easy to train and can do lots of things that you want them to do to help you with your things. Cats are always just messing around your house and no matter how much you feed and take care of them, there are times that if they're not on the mood, they'll bite or scratch you with their claws and doesn't care about you that much. There are some cases that cat's fur can easily irritate other people's noses and their stool is much smelly than the dog. Clearly, the dog is the winner.

I prefer cats

I have always been and will most likely continue to be a cat fan. It's not that I don't like dogs it's just that I find cats more interesting. While they are great companions they're not needy and can fend off for themselves if the situation requires which is a big plus for someone with little free time like me. Plus they always helped by hunting insects and small rodents around the house.

Prefer Cats

I much prefer to have a cat. I think that cats are alot easier to take care of then dogs. I do like each animal, but have a thing for cats since that is what I currently have for fur babies in my home. Cats some say are very self centered. While this may be true, I have had my fair share of cat cuddles when I have been feeling down. So I do not feel that they are only centered on themselves.

Cat does not bear any serious disease for human. But in some cases Dog bear some dangerous disease for human. ON these areas- like on Bengali states- you will see at the time of August-September dog got mad and they bit people and the people should need to take minimum 16 -20 injections. Cat is homely. Small animal- always lovable and take small place and stay as the animal own nature.

Cats own.

They are both absolutely beautiful animals and I had a dog and cats before (currently got cats) but I have to disagree with you.

Cats are simply better than dogs. They are superior to them in every single way. They have their own personality. They are smarter. They are more clever. They are more stubborn - you can't tempt them with a sausage and make them obey you. They purr which is such a nice noise and it relaxes you! They can be the cutest things in the world when THEY want to. Nobody can resist them big kitten eyes.

Ultimately, the cats will rule the world :)

I vote for cats

It will be unfair to the cat owners. Dogs and cats are on the same line. They are pets, tame and cute.

Cat owners may understand the feeling of having feline at home. You can easily satisfy a cat with little food, no need to bath it, she will do a better job than you, snuggles you when you are asleep, when you are down and accompanies you when you are lonely.

Cats are better in companionship as dogs are solely given the duty to take care of the house. Unless you have those cute small dogs.

I like both, but dogs make better companions.

I have always liked most animals, and have had both dogs and cats over the years. The main difference that I have noticed is that cats will come to you when they want affection and loving, and dogs will come to you when they think that you need affection. Cats mostly don't care about being with you all of the time, whereas a dog will follow you everywhere providing they are given the opportunity. Dogs love to please people , and they are much easier to train than a cat is, also. We have dogs that do all sorts of jobs that require training, such as herding dogs, and we also have some dogs that do jobs that they seem to sense what needs to be done, like some of the companion dogs for disabled people. So , while I enjoy both cats and dogs, i would much rather have a dog in my life than a cat if I could only choose one or the other.

Dignity, Affection, Cat!

Team cat is a special breed of person. The dogs' convergent evolution ended the moment we began breeding them in captivity. We took wolves and made hand servants of them, eager thralls who do love us, but honestly have little choice. They were bred to love us.

The cat, however, retains much of its independence. People who know them know that they chose us. The cat has a bare minimum dignity, below which it will not sink and I find this incredibly endearing. Because a cat retains its individual dignity, when it loves you it was a choice and not a product of human engineering. Catly affection is earned, as love so rightly should be.

Not necessarily

This really depends on the person with the pet. Some people prefers cats and I am one of those people. I prefer cats since they don't need much attention as opposed to dogs which you have to attend to every time.

This is very subjective and will really depend on the person.

I think cats are in home because they have their reasons for companionship. They don't consider the family who raises them as family. And they can leave you any time on their own. That is not the case with the dogs. Once they are in your family. You are everything to them. And that's something you have to see with the pets. I have found that some of the time dogs may be annoying but cat on the other hand have their share of the issues.

A barking dog is really annoying at times but the dog can be taught to restrict its barking. Our 3 dogs in the living room would create a racket when our door bell rings. You can imagine the noise of the 3 dogs barking all at the same time. But come to think of it, if there is an unwanted intruder then the dogs would warn us. I don’t think the cat can do that because it is tame, friendly and affectionate but it has no other benefit for us.

While man's best friend have truly proven self time and time again, cats have taken on a personality all of their own. I'm not sure that personality is the right terminology to use regarding cats! One thing for sure though, the friendship factor between cats and dogs have greatly improved. I tend to like them equally. They both look out for me in their own unique way. Although my mom's cat "Stove Top" seems to throw on the extra charm and famous cat waltz around my feet when it's food time, she generally means well as she is always in adventure mode. Just a mere glance at the wandering eyes of my dog "Butch" tells me that he wishes to follow me everywhere and hang out with me all day . And other times I see both of them hanging out together. I feel equally comforted as I know both guys are being taken care of and the animal kingdom and people kingdom is safe again.

Our dogs would be agitated with their sound. Sometimes we have to throw water on the roof to drive away the cats. By the way, one of our dogs celebrated its 10th birthday last Sunday and we had a road trip for that. Our dogs love road trips and we bring them along for as far as an 8-hour drive. I am not a dog lover neither am I a cat lover. But since we have dogs at home, I believe dogs are more important than men. They can be guards of the house and the family. Aside from that they can give immense happiness to the family and can actually be treated like a member of the family. I think when you are a pet lover these reasons like being a guard or whatever becomes secondary. They are taken cared because they are loved for bringing happiness and companionship to the person.

Cats are for girls, dogs are for men. No offense but that's how I see it. Dogs can literally save lives and can be train to protect also, and we all know that there is no argument to that. Cats however are for people who tend to have no problems at all. I mean, a cat is a mess if you can't train it and some cats can't be trained. They sometimes do more mess than avoid one. But after all, it all depends.

I've had wonderful cats who allow themselves to be petted and carried like pups. If you start them young at this, they grow accustomed to it. My cats burn the midnight oil with me when I need to work in the wee hours. Dogs are intelligent creatures who can be your child, friend, babysitter, or assistant. They are loyal to the very end. People will have their own individual preferences or choices. That's why the phrase "freedom of choice" is so widely used. Some people may like cats or dogs exclusively and other may like both of these animals. It shouldn't be too difficult for you to understand that why some people may find a cat to be a more appealing pet or companion than a dog or vice versa. It's just that either animal may have a trait that a certain individual may find to be more appealing or more compatible to them.

When you are comparing these animals what points are you considering. If you compare dogs and cats based on loyalty, then dogs are of course better than cats. If you consider raising cost (feeding, grooming, medical bills etc.), dogs are very expensive to raise (you may not want to increase your monthly expenses). Interestingly, you don't have to give baths to cats, where as dogs need regular baths.

I love both of them but for me dog is the most intelligent one. Dogs can learn easily technique if your training them. It was already in the nature of the cats to be indefendent you don't need to train them in term of that but if you try to give them some technique or train them they can't get it and learned in that perion of time like a dog. And in term of emotions dogs can learned how to understand emotions of people.
