Favorite Vampire Movie

Favorite Vampire Movie
When it comes to fiction stories and movies, vampires have been one aspect of fiction writing that has seen so many stories and movies made about it. I have watched quite a lot of vampire movies, so much that I find it difficult to pick out the best among all that I have watched already. Some of the vampire movies which I have watched are ; The Originals, Vampire Diaries, The Gate, True Blood, The Moonlight, Dracula, Van Helsing, The Underworld, Blade, etc. Among all these movies, I would say that the Originals happens to be my favorite.

What's your favorite vampire movie of all time?

I would have to say Interview with a Vampire is number one in my book. With Tom Cruise as vampire lestat along with Brad Pitt and such notable stars as Antonio Banderas and Christian Slater, it's one of the best vampire movies I've ever seen. What's good about this story is, it was told as a fictional biography of a vampire and that's so cool.

An Interview with the vampire is my favorite vampire movie. I love this movie because it features my favorite actors Tom Cruise, Antonio Banderas and Brad Pitt. The story is also interesting and presentation very captivating. It is a star-studded movie.

immediately I saw the topic, the interview of the vampire came to my mind because its a movie I so enjoyed because of my favourite actors being in the movie. I like the energetic Tom cruise I enjoy his movies a lot, never forgetting Brad Pitt. I really like the movie
Posted by lovely on 05-31-2018
I think it was less scary though. It was good no doubt. Lot of interesting acting and such. But the scare factor was missing in such case. And for that reason it was not that good.
Posted by overcast on 06-02-2018
You have a poin. The INverview with vampire is a good movie. A nice storyline, good actors, good presentation. However, there was not scary element. The vampire must be scary, however, in the movie the vampires are not scarry. If you go by this point, Twilight is not a good movie because the protagonist is vampire and through out the movie you will side with the vampire hero.
Posted by vinaya on 06-04-2018
I haven't watched this movie - Interview with a Vampire and looking at the actors packed up in the vampire movie in the person of Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas and Christian Slater, there is no doubt the movie is definitely going to be a blast. I'm definitely going to get this vampire movie to watch as soon as possible.
Posted by Martinsx on 05-31-2018
By the way, Dracula is also good. This is the movie based on Bram Stroker's Dracula. Bram Stoker is the creator of Dracula. Another Good movie about vampire is Van Helsing.
Posted by vinaya on 06-01-2018
I never knew that there was a vampire movie that starred Tom Cruise. When I was young vampire movies were in fashion and some children even think that vampires do exist. But when I became an adult vampire movies gave way to other genre particularly action and romance. Now I have to admit that vampire movies are getting popular again and it is running side by side in popularity with zombie movies.

Recently there is one movie being released named "Living among us". That is indeed one good movie. It shows how vampires are living among us. And what are some of the things that can be done to live with them. That documentary movie turns different. And things go really bad. I'd say such movies are worth watching. Though not a lot of people like found footage.
Posted by overcast on 05-31-2018
It's a different genre compared to most vampire movies, but "What We Do in the Shadows" is my favorite one, hands down. It's a comedy and is shot like a documentary of vampires living in our current society. It's really funny and the cast is great.
Posted by treecko142 on 05-31-2018
I'm not really that into vampires or vampire movies but I have enjoyed some of them and would not be against watching them again, even if I probably would prefer to watch something else given the choice. A few of the ones I liked were Interview with the Vampire and From Dusk Till Dawn. I don't remember much from either, because I was very young when I first saw them, but I remember being into them when I first watched them. I think I liked the latter better since it was a bit more fun but I would say I liked them both almost equally for different reasons.
Posted by Wubwub on 05-31-2018
I think I know the movie From Dusk Till Dawn? Does the movie have Salma Hyek? If yes, I think I have watched the movie. Well, the movie does not scare you much, however, the story is unique. By the way underworld is also a good vampire movie series. Sadly, I have not watched too many underworld movies.
Posted by vinaya on 06-03-2018
I'll probably go with "Twilight." It's not the best movie with its story. But I'm okay with the movie itself. It's really not that bad. Especially, if you watch it just for fun.
Posted by Steve5 on 06-01-2018
How can I forget about this movie "Twilight." My mind must really need to be adjusted because having a mixture of both vampires and werewolves is something classy. This is actually why I like the movie The Underworld so much. It had two different storyline mixed together, and it's more fun and interesting than just having only vampire or werewolves alone in the movie.
Posted by Martinsx on 06-01-2018
I have watched first two movies in the Twilight series. The first one was interesting becuse it creates an interesting story around the love between a vampire and human, but I got bored with the second one. Therefore, I never watched the remaining 3 movies in the series.
Posted by vinaya on 06-02-2018
I guess you can say they're not really for excitement. I mostly watch them whenever they're on air. Like certain movie channels. I prefer skipping to specific scenes I find the most interesting.
Posted by Steve5 on 06-04-2018
I very much agree. It makes me want to watch the underworld series. I'll probably go watch it right now. I understand how some people are attracted to it. It's different than your regular romance flicks.
Posted by Steve5 on 06-02-2018
Twilight is also the best vampire movie for me. I'm not in to bloody, horror types of films and I enjoy romance so I was really happy to see Twilight because it delivered what I like in a movie while making me accept the concept of Vampires.
Posted by jaybee19 on 06-27-2018
Same here Twilight series movie is my favorite but I like The Vampire Diaries when it comes to series.
Posted by mark86 on 09-12-2018
One of my favorite vampire movies is Queen of the Dammed which stars Aaliyah as Queen Akasha and Stuart Townsend as Lestat de Lioncourt. I can't forget Aaliyah's walk when she entered the bar filled with vampires, it was so frighteningly stunning. Although I think Tom Cruise should have reprised his role as Lestat.
Posted by Kakashi2020 on 06-01-2018
You are my partner in crime man! Definitively Queen of the Damned is a must, besides all the characters, the plot is very attractive, and the soundtrack is great! I love the cover of Forsaken by David Draiman, I can listen to it again and again. Also, Underworld is my thing too, and I'm with you when you say the first two movies are the best ones. In fact, I rather the first one over the rest of them. I can easily watch a tv marathon on those titles anytime.
Posted by ballyhara on 06-02-2018
Queen of the Dammed is a very good vampire movie and I did enjoyed watching it then, even though it's been very long since I watched the movie but it's scenes are still much lively in my mind. It was such a wonderful piece of fiction movie.
Posted by Martinsx on 06-15-2018
The Underworld Series was good specially 1 and 2 but the succeeding movies were not as good as the first two. There's nothing better than Vampires battling Werewolves, if you ask me. Although they should have just made the plot simpler and shouldn't have created hibreeds.
Posted by Kakashi2020 on 06-02-2018
They more looks like wolf or werewolf movie. But they are good instead of wasting time with twilight. He he.
Posted by MomoStarr16 on 06-06-2018
I have to agree with you about the movie series The Underworld Series and the 1st and 2nd movies in the series. I liked the first underworld movie, the second movie was also great. However, I lost interest in the third move, even though it was a prequel. They introduced a lot of characters and I did not like these new characters.
Posted by vinaya on 06-06-2018
I would go for Van Helsen, it's an action packed movie with great special effects. Also the way the story goes is really enticing. I have watch it a couple of times and it still makes me want to sit on the couch and eat some popcorn.
Posted by fishbate on 06-02-2018
Twilight! Lol. Just kidding. Twilight was plain boring. It tried to sell the awkward love story between Bella and Edward. It didn't quite cut out for me.

To be honest, I'm not that fond of vampires. But I do have some vampire films that I love. My favorite vampire movie has to go to the Blade films. Wesley Snipes played the role of Blade perfectly. The action scenes are pretty good and story isn't bad either.

A close second has to be the Underworld series. Kate Beckinsale as a vampire is so darn hot. And those fight scenes? Wow.
Posted by limberg on 06-02-2018
You're very correct man with pointing out how good the Blade vampire movie was. If my memory serves me correctly, it was up part 4 that it ended and I made sure to watch everyone of it.

The same thing goes for The Underworld with its last part being on the Blood wars, it was such an interesting and incredible movie. My only disappointment was that Michel was killed in the movie.
Posted by Martinsx on 06-02-2018
The Blade series starring Wesley Snipes is one of the best modern vampire movies when it comes to action and swordplay.
The movie also stars Kris Kristofferson as an old vampire hunter named Whistler. Blade is called a Day Walker because he's half human and half vampire.
Posted by Kakashi2020 on 06-03-2018
I can't recall vividly the name of the vampire movie that I watched back in those days, but the truth was that I was still a kid then and it was not really easy for me to sleep well at night after the incident. This is the reason I always look for comic movies to erase that memory after watching vampire movies while I was still a kid. Honestly, I had some tough time too then adapting to the situation at hand then which was not that easy for me. However, I now feel okay watching vampire movies and living among us was one of the best as long as I am concerned. It was a movie filled with suspense and horror as well.
Posted by Barida on 06-04-2018
I can still remember the first horror movie that I watch when I was still a teenager, it's called "THE EVIL DEAD". Even though it's not a vampire movie but one of dead zombies that loves to eat brains and human flesh, I was scared to death the very first time I watch. I couldn't go to any dark room alone because of fear of seeing those zombies.
Posted by Martinsx on 06-27-2018
Blade? Hahaha. I hate Twilight so I guess it is safe to say that Blade is my favorite movie. Unless Castlevania will do one.
Posted by MomoStarr16 on 06-04-2018
One good vampire movie that has everything in it like comedy, action, suspense and horror is Robert Rodriguez's vampire masterpiece From Dusk 'til Dawn. It's the first movie that I've seen which stars Quentin Tarantino, and it was quite a surprise. It also stars George Clooney, Danny Trejo and Salma Hayek.
Posted by Anonymous on 06-06-2018
I did enjoyed the vampire movie "From Dusk Till Dawn", it exposed a lot of things about how the world of vampire is ruled and fought over. Although, there is one thing which I don't really fancy with the movie and it's normally its linking of a vampire with a snake. That is a purely different knowledge on what I know about vampires.
Posted by Martinsx on 06-07-2018
From Dusk til Dawn was a great Vampire movie and it stars Quentin Tarantino, Salma Hayek and George Clooney. I haven't watched the second movie and I just googled it and was surprised to find out that there's a Dusk til Dawn 3. I'm definitely going to watch 2 n 3 tonight.
Posted by Anonymous on 06-06-2018
There is no doubt about it being The Lost Boys (made in the 80s). It's so funny and interesting. Well, some say it's corny, but then again, that's the charm! Has anyone seen it? It seems like some parody of Jim Morrison, hippies, and hair bands, lol.
Posted by jyy on 06-07-2018
My all-time favorite vampire movie was Twilight. I like love story movie that's why I got captivated by Twilight. Before I was always excited to wait for another sequel and I was rooting for Robert and Kristen to end up together though they had a relationship in real life but they eventually broke up. Sigh. The avid fans of Twilight Saga are still waiting to finish the book for another sequel hopefully it would be same castings.
Posted by aecel on 06-08-2018
My favorite vampire movie is Twilight. I just love the whole story. I love it for it didn't showed scary plots. It is also a love story.
Posted by timothyP on 06-08-2018
One entertaining movie is Dark Shadows which stars Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins an aged vampire trapped by a witch for hundreds of years until his coffin was accidentally dug up in modern times by a construction crew, the story revolves on his present day bloodline, and the witch which is now a wealthy business owner and becomes his nemesis again. As what can be expected with Johnny Depp's portrayal as a vampire, well it's hilariously and frightfully good. This movie has a vampire, a witch, a werewolf, a ghost and even a banshee in it, so it has a complete supernatural cast.
Posted by Kakashi2020 on 06-15-2018
My old fashioned mind is torn between the traditional Dracula and the modern day vampires. But considering the thrill that Dracula had given us whenI was a young girl, I guess the revival of the olden Dracula in Transylvania will be a better movie to watch than the more violent vampires in the modern times. Even the cartoon of Monster family, Dracula is the patriarch which shows the popularity of the character.
Posted by Corzhens on 06-16-2018
I think that the modern day Dracula is far more interesting than the old fashioned Dracula. Even though I will admit that the old version of Dracula was good although at the time, there wasn't much upgrade in techs used in film production, as compared to what we have today. It's actually why I would say that the new version of Dracula is more cooler because of improved quality and graphics as well as storyline.
Posted by Martinsx on 06-25-2018
I don't have a favorite among the list but I would like it if Vampyr made a movie. It is a new game that is released and the main character is a vampire. The game's story is quite cool because you decide who dies and who survives in the town.
Posted by EfficientNinja on 06-19-2018
There's an old 90's film starring James Woods as a vampire hunter named Jack Crow which was hired by the Vatican to kill vampires and bring back a crucifix that holds some awesome power. It's a good film which was directed by John Carpenter.
Posted by Kakashi2020 on 06-28-2018
Interview With The Vampire was my first favorite vampire movie and was replaced when Queen Of The Damned when it came out. Now modern day vampire movies took place and Underworld movie series is my most recent favorite because of the action packed scenes and stunts by the star character Kate Beckinsale. All has interesting stories, powerful vampires and a unique cast made it loved by most vampire fans.
Posted by Marako0406 on 07-04-2018
Interview With the Vampire was an amazing movie with some amazing actors. I think that everyone played their roles perfectly, have you ever read the novels ? They expand the story quite abit more and you can learn lots of interesting stuff about every character.
Posted by manmad on 09-30-2018
The Lost Boys is a good vampire movie, it stars Jason Patrick and Corey Haim as brothers who just moved in with their mom in a new neighborhood and got mixed up with Kieffer Sutherland, the leader of a group of vampires. This movie was released in 1987 and I remembered watching it with my schoolmates on its first day of screening, we all cut class for it.
Posted by Kakashi2020 on 07-04-2018
I think I don't like vampires movie from now on. I heard that it gives negative effect watching that kind of movie. Because it make us believe that there is vampire.
Posted by MomoStarr16 on 07-06-2018
My favorite vampire movie is twilight. I still remember the feels! Especially since they did not change the story that much.
Posted by RhealaineS on 07-07-2018
Blade is probably one of the best ones that I've seen, because it is kinda unique in it's own way, even though the whole vampire slayer thing is a bit played off. Despite that, the movie is a classic and it has a lot of things that makes me enjoy it like the bad ass soundtracks for example.
Posted by manmad on 07-09-2018
Twilight is my top pick. I like the scenes and the actors. I also like that it comes in series (movie series). Van Helsing is also good and so as Blade, Dracula Untold, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Underworld.
Posted by Anonymous on 07-13-2018
Vampire movies are hands down my favorite type of movies/shows to watch. Its really hard to pick a top one but Underworld and Blade would be my favorite movies. They have a darker theme to them that I think goes very well when portraying vampires. Twilight was good if you are looking for a PG version of a vampire movie. As far as shows go Vampire Diaries and Angel are two of the best shows thus far.
Posted by jerlene on 07-15-2018
My favorite vampire movie is Twilight. It is not all about the world of vampires but also the world of people and the mortal enemy of vampires, wolves. I like it because the story of the movie and the characters are appropriate for my age. It is a movies for us teens. So sometimes I can relate to it when the scene is all about love. Well, I think it is so hard to love a vampire if you are a human. I don't want to be one of the vampires because if I become one of them, I can't see how beautiful the sun is. I will stay to be human. The movie is great that I watched it so many times! If you haven't watch it yet, watch it now!
Posted by blank629 on 07-22-2018
Underworld and Twilight series are the best for me. The story lines, the soundtracks, the scenes, the effects are all awesome. The actors played their parts well. Having the werewolves and vampires in one movie makes my heart beats fast!
Posted by NesMarcos on 07-24-2018
I got sucked into the Twilight series and I think I saw every movie - but I don't really gravitate towards vampire movies normally! I think that I'm more of a romantic movie lover, so I guess maybe that's why I liked Twilight!
Posted by amelia88 on 07-26-2018
I watched the Twilight series and The Underworld. I also like Blade. If I'm going to choose it will be Twilight. I love stories featuring vampires and werewolves. I also like stories of love between humans and supernatural. The love between Bella and Edward really is timeless. He waited for centuries for her. It's very romantic. And the wedding part? It's my dream wedding.
Posted by Alymae on 08-07-2018
I love The Vampire Diaries, though it was a series not a movie but it was almost looks like a movie. The casting were awesome and the cinematography was outstanding. The definitely had a budget for everything. The story was fantastics.
Posted by mark86 on 08-08-2018
For me blade and underworld is the best. I have already watch all the parts and I hope that they will release a continuation of the movie. Blade is lunch when I'm still in elementary I think but I enjoy watching it. Underworld is also a good movie, I like how the stories goes and I'll hope a continuation is will soon be release.
Posted by blackmist on 08-10-2018
I was hooked into watching the Twilight Series since aside from being a vampire movie, it is also a love story wherein a human and a vampire are involved. They find ways to make the relationship work despite their differences and dangers of one being a vampire. I also enjoy watching the series Vampire Diaries and The Originals. I guess I am into movies that shows that Vampires are not just savage creatures but they are also capable of love and in need of love and understanding.
Posted by mdayrit on 08-17-2018
Definitely the Monster Squad was my first favourite vampire movie. I guess because I always imagine that i'm the little girl who read the book to opened the portal. Next was the Lost Boys, really gave me thrills when I found out that its the suitor of their mom was the leader of all vampires and with the help of their grandpa that finished the bad guy who known it for a long time just keeping it to his grandkids about it. I wont get bored watching these-my all time awesome favourite movies!
Posted by romy_ter on 08-28-2018
I think my all time favorite is Van Helsing. The storyline is very interesting and action scene are shot beautifully. Underworld is a good movie too but I still did not see the next part of the movie. The story become confusing to me. I still did not watched The Originals I will now put it in my list of next movie to watch.
Posted by Zelmontero on 08-29-2018
I wouldn't say it was my favorite because vampire movies overall don't make it to my “Faves List”. But there was a movie with Angela Bassett and Eddie Murphy that I thought was cute! Vampire in Brooklyn (1995) ? Horror/Comedy
Posted by cmoneyspinner on 09-10-2018
I haven't watched the old version of Van Helsing yet, but I really like its today's version with a main character is a female and unfortunately it isn't a movie but a series. When it comes to a vampire themed story, I would say Van Helsing (today's verision) is my ultimate favorite. I like the story and how it looks like real. Of course, I salute the intense and the thrill that it gives to me when I'm watching every episode. It is just good to watch.
Posted by mitan143 on 09-15-2018
I like the vampire series of the "Twilight Saga". I was really amazed by the effects. Also Bella is so beautiful. The love chemistry that the story narrates is very touching and inspiring that couples should fight for each other no matter what. I could say that I fell in love with their story line especially by the time Bella got pregnant and everyone protected her.
Posted by ajahcuizon on 09-21-2018
I guess the Underworld series could be considered as a vampire movie even if there are also werewolves in it. It is my favorite vampire movie so far next to Blade. The Blade series just happen to have so much gore in it which I really don't like. One thing I don't like the Underworld movie now is this hybrid child which really just adds up the conflict between werewolves and vampires. However, I will still follow the movie and see how things will end.
Posted by Aeolos on 09-24-2018
I like Twilight movie. I like the story line. I like all the actors on the movie.
Posted by jeffreyjose48 on 09-25-2018
Twilight is the best vampire movie I watched because of the series contains a lot of plot twist that will keep you guessing of what will happen next. I felt a lot of adrenaline rush because of that movie series at this time the film may be old but the thought that it want to impart to us won't fade. There are drama and actions into the film but even the drama scenes will not bored you up because of the good production of the film.
Posted by Gilgamesh on 10-05-2018
Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992). IMHO, This film is by far one of the best manifestations of the character and the closest to the original story, not to mention the cast, costumes, and sets.
Posted by NerdIndeed on 10-05-2018
Interview with the Vampire! Actually, I just knew of this movie last year, and even though I was so late, I sure am thankful that I found it. Well, I saw it on a cable channel and I'm not going to lie. The first thing that caught my attention was the good-looking all-star cast. Who would have thought that one would see Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, Tom Cruise and the then little Kirsten Dunst in one movie? Then, the exciting story followed that made me like it so much. Well, too bad, the ending was such a cliffhanger. Though Queen of the Damned was released, it feels different without the original cast
Posted by theresajane on 10-17-2018
Doing justice to a great vampire movie is what came to mind when I read the title. Vampire movies are interesting to watch though scary. Sometimes chills of fear crawl down my spine when I watch them suck blood.

Interview wit A Vampire grips me fine. This is a great vampire movie. It is quite a great movie
Posted by stbrians on 10-19-2018
I do like vampire movies especially compared to horror movies which are really not that scary and very boring to watch. Vampire movies, however, are very interesting and entertaining to watch. If I have to choose my favorite amongst all the vampire movies then the underworld evolution series then the Twilight series, the Blade series are all my favorite.
Posted by jpk0007 on 10-26-2018
The Twilight Saga, oh my god. I know some people don't like this but I do enjoy supernatural love stories. So how can I say no this this movie, for me the whole story is new and original, exactly what I'm looking for on the movies I watch. And this movie did not fail me, all characters had a good story and introduction. The Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson left me in awe, I wish they had more for the fans but I guess things do have to end in a certain point. And I can say that the ending was amazing, could not add anything more to that.
Posted by mftmadam on 10-31-2018
My favorite vampire movie is probably still Anne Rice’s “Interview with the Vampire”. I love vampires with class who are totally in love with themselves and drama. He is the smiling, glamorous villain who is every bit proud of who he is. The entire movie is so well done
Posted by csk81 on 10-31-2018
I don't like horror, so I've probably not seen much vampire movies; but from the little I've seen so far, Dracula is topping my list of all times best. Wesley Snipes made that movie a blast
Posted by mosesoscar on 11-01-2018
I would say the Twilight series! I remember my high school self getting all excited to watch Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart every time a new movie would be released. Twilight was far from being the best vampire romance movie, but it was so phenomenal and iconic. I think Twilight's popularity is partly why people became more interested on books and films with similar themes during that time.

Kathryn Bigelow, in her early years as a director, even before Point Break and way before The Hurt Locker, managed to make a film about vampires. It's a vampire film with a simple plot, but with the early flavor of Kathryn Bigelow's growing genius. This film was made in the late eighties, but is worth watching (if you haven't yet) especially for the hardcore vampire movie fans.
Posted by sonnyisabeast on 11-04-2018
One vampire movie I remember watching as a teen was The Lost Boys, starring Kiefer Sutherland as the leader of the group of vampires and the two Corey's, Feldman and Haim as protagonists. It was a good date movie back then and the soundtrack was really cool.

Blade II. For a moment, the Blade franchise looked to have the same galvanizing appetite for auteur talent as Mission Impossible, and with Blade II, Guillermo Del Toro created a better film (pound for pound) than the original and was able to branch out the story in a way that gave him cart blanche to craft creatures and wild characters. The first movie was a great introductory chapter into the life of Wesley Snipes’ day-walking assassin. Del Toro turned the next chapter into facing one’s roots as a beast as much as a hero. Del Toro brought in a layer of thematic fascination with physicality, monster politics, and the dangerous ideas that spawn from purity. More than that though, Blade II is a brilliant spectacle, lined with fantastic, ingeniously paced set-pieces of choreographed action and explorative asides with Del Toro’s creatures.

As always with Del Toro, his populism has never seemed to disrupt his artistry. As such, Blade II is as remarkable for how fun it is while still packing in plenty of creative oomph.

Abraham Lincoln: The Vampire Hunter. I don't really know why I enjoyed the movie. Maybe because it somehow related it to history or maybe just because the concept of vampires and vampire hunting in that movie. Don't know if other also enjoyed the movie but hope you guys also did.
Posted by hstinscdln on 11-09-2018
My favorite vampire kind of movies has to be the Twilight Saga series. I enjoy watching the whole series especially part 3 where the Cullens had to face the newborn army. It was such a great battle plus the inclusion of Jacob and his family entering the fight as well. I did not expect that the whole battle was just a vision all along. I bet everyone was in awe and could not believe what just happened.
Posted by YoloBoy on 11-14-2018
I like 30 days of night. The vampires in that movie are great and it's a terrifying movie to watch if only by virtue of how rabid the vampires themselves are. The tone and setting are pretty good, but the vampires are just savage and scary creatures. It's great.
Posted by csk81 on 11-20-2018
I love the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. It is an American romantic vampire movie directed by Bill Condon that came from the novel "Twilight Saga" and make a film out of it. It ranks as the fourth-highest-grossing film in 2011. I like the story itself including the characters specially Edward. The dialogue and action scenes are great. I like the melodrama and love story with supernatural thrills.
Posted by rubeth1726 on 11-28-2018
All the answers are serious vampire movies. There's even Queen of the Damned and Interview with the Vampire which are both Anne Rice books which I by the way love. But my all time favorite vampire movie is Dracula: Dead and Loving it. I know it's a comedy and it probably doesn't pass as a real vampire movie but come on! Who doesn't like a good comedy?
Posted by knnon on 12-07-2018
I love Subspecies. Used to watch it all the time as kid. I would love for a cleaned up version as all the copies I have seen are pretty rough. Also if I am not mistaken it is filmed in Romania which is also a plus. I also love John Carpenters Vampires. It has James Woods tracking down Dracula in America.
