I would be vegan, but for chicken

Except for chicken and sometimes turkey, I'm not a huge fan of meats. I would love to just eat nothing but fruits and vegetables and one time actually converted to vegetarianism. I like how it's more about health and diet rather than a 'way of life'. I don't like the idea of animals being slaughtered for our food but i do understand that even in the wild things kill each other. As for the actual food, fruits and vegetables are generally healthier, contain more vitamins and minerals and easier to digest.

I could live with just fruit and vegetables.

Being the kind of person who very rarely eats much meat and the only meat I really eat is chicken, turkey and maybe some ham or bacon I would be quite content just eating vegetables and fruit if I had to. It's so much more of a healthier lifestyle eating fruits and vegetables with certain meats and fish having a lot of fat and oils in them. At least with fruit and vegetables you know what you are eating and you know there is nothing added to it unless you add it.

I'm vegan

I am a vegan so naturally, I would choose eating fruits and vegetables. I have been vegan for almost 6 months. I have felt very healthy and have lost some weight. I also have a new found peace of mind knowing that my meal did not involve the death of another being. There are many known health benefits of consuming high quantities of fruits and vegetables. They have many nutrients as well as a high water content.

Fruits and Vegetable

I love eating produce. They are very healthy. Moreover, they taste good. Nothing is more refreshing than freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. Also, I love my vegetables.

I honestly think a lot of animal products aren't good for our bodies. I do eat dairy and meat, but in pretty limited quantities anyway. Fruits and veggies are a staple in my day to day eating and if I had to choose anything for feeling good, it would be fruit & veg without a doubt.

I'm not a herbivore

I'm more of a meat loving person. I do eat veggies, but I don't crave for them during meal time. I believe that veggies are good for us, but I don't feel content when I solely eat veggies.

Meat on the other hand makes my tummy happy. I know that in the long run, this would haunt me. It may have a long term effect on my health. But as of now, I can't help myself but devour steak after steak thrown my way.

(P.S. my dad is now purely on a vegetarian diet for health purposes. Veggies are good for our body, but so is meat! Dang it.)

I need muscles.

The thing is that I enjoy taking milk and chicken as this is one of the ways that I can always get to build my muscles since I am someone that is already lean and not that plump. A pal advised me to be taking whole lots of chicken and milk as this is one of the ways that I can get to build the muscles that I want.

feeding on fruits and vegetables is better than feeding on milk and chicken, because vegetable diet is considered better than non-veg diet. However, I will choose milk and chicken. I love milk products and meat products. By the way I like a mix-diet a balance between fruits and vegetables and milk and chicken.

Fruits and vegetables are really not gonna satisfy my tasty needs so I will choose to be fed on milk, fish, and all kinds of meat. I can think of just eating meat every day but not fruits and vegetables. I need calcium and protein for my body to fully function for the entire day.

Whenever I would need to shed off pounds, I would resort to eating fruits and vegetables. That would be my diet for as long as I can endure that usually I give up on the 4th day. My mind would tell me that I have to enjoy what life has to offer so why not eat steak for the meantime or fried chicken maybe. Well, it’s not really forcing yourself on a particular diet that matters. My style is to eat what I want but in moderation. The amount of what you ingest is what matters most so you can practically eat anything with restriction on the volume.

I think there is a myth regarding eating meat. Generally speaking, meat contains high protein and protein is good for losing weight. However, if you eat meat cooked with lot of oils and butter or eat animal fats, that might harm you. If you are conscious about weight, you have to avoid fried meat as it has high saturated fats.

There's a diet I'm on now that one doesn't need to count calories and I love. The OMAD diet eating once a day, no restrictions on calories and one can eat really working for weight loss and one doesn't have to deprive self of eating anything.

I'm not a vegetarian, I enjoy eating meat and I think there's nothing wrong with it because the body needs protein and fats as well as fruits and vegetables. Everything must be balance and eating to much of one food group is not really good for the health. The best diet is always a balance diet of the 4 food groups.

I am with you on this regard. I belong to Hindu tradition. In ancient Hindu scriptures, there is a line that reads: Animals are animal's food. There is nothing wrong in eating meat. In fact meat contains more soluble protein than plants.

Definitely, I don't think it a good idea or good for the body well-being to eat just one type or class of food. What the body needs most is a balanced diet, which means we need to eat all the classes of foods with loads of water. For those trying to lose weight, they can try the OMAD diet.
