luxury chocolate

Godiva is luxury chocolate. Hershey's and Nestle is an "everyday" type of chocolate snack. However, Godiva is something special you only have once in a while. It is rich and top quality. I guess it's great that there are options for chocolate lovers who also have diabetes, however, since I do not have diabetes I would enjoy this Godiva chocolate much more. I like the boxes that offer a variety of flavors and textures of chocolate.

Godiva is an excellent brand and for me, it was an extremely easy choice. I had to pick this because there was no way that I could have picked diabetic friendly sugar free chocolate. I could not imagine eating some sugar free chocolate, it just sounds to me like something that would taste horrible

This looks great!

When looking at the appearance, this Godiva Chocolatier Limited Edition looks so much nicer and more appealing. I really haven't try Godiva before, I hope I can have the opportunity to try it. Besides looking nice, I would not like to have sugar free chocolate. I don't know if it is healthier, if I want to eat, I usually don't choose sugar free or diet products, as I think they don't taste nice.

Only the best

I'm grateful I got to try the Godiva chocolates before and let me tell you, they are exquisite. Rich in flavor, delicious, with a creamy texture and oh-so fulfilling. They are worth their price and they're a luxury that anyone can appreciate.

I appreciate sugarless and diabetic-friendly chocolates a lot, but since I'm lucky enough to be healthy, I prefer the Godiva ones.

Yes I have had Godiva chocolates

One of the best traditions associated with Valentine's Day is the gift of chocolate. I am very pleased that they make Valentine's Day sugar-free chocolates for diabetics. However, since I am not a diabetic and have no dietary restrictions when it comes to sugar and I love chocolate and there are only 6 pieces in the box and Valentine's Day is one day out of the year … I think I can indulge myself and enjoy these Godiva chocolates. Yes, I have had Godiva chocolates and I would not mind having a box of them every year! Nobody has to give them as a gift. I would buy them for myself. I deserve them! :)

Tastes yummy

If I'm having a chance to choose then my choice would definitely be Godiva Chocolatier Limited Edition 2018 Assorted 6 Piece Chocolate box because it is such a tasty piece of chocolate. I know this because my girlfriend is a chocolate addict even at her very age. A day never passes with her eating chocolates and Godiva Chocolate is among her favorite.

Diabetic Friendly Sugar Free Chocolate Lovers Assortment

Diabetic Friendly Sugar Free Chocolate Lovers Assortment
It is so hard to pick which chocolate you want when you are offered a piece from a large box! There are so many that look simply amazing. That is the story with the Diabetic Friendly Sugar Free Chocolate Lovers Assortment. This is a 28 ounce box from the Diabetic Family and retails on Amazon for $42.99 plus $10.97 shipping. This box of goodness is made in the United States and is one of the Diabetic Family's best sellers.

I love this chocolate as I do have two individuals that are diabetic in my family. It is very important for them to keep close tabs on what they eat, so I feel good about offering these sugar free candies to them.

This mix of this box is always changing. There may be tempting turtles, luscious meltaways, creams and caramels, tantalizing truffles, and even a chocolate-dipped cookie in the box when you order. They do try to do their best with offering milk, dark, and white chocolates.

  • sugar free
  • great for anyone watching sugar intake
  • 28 ounces
  • mix is constantly changing up the types of chocolates offered
  • impressive
  • high quality
  • fantastic
  • sweet
  • delicious
  • well worth it
  • nice selections
  • highly recommended
  • innovative
  • just as expected
  • prompt delivery
  • decadent
  • great company
  • beautiful presentation

  • caramel had a watered down flavor to it
  • chocolate had a waxy taste
  • did not care for most of the candies
  • tasted terrible
  • waited over a month for delivery

For the price, I would go for this not minding the fact that it is not that tasty. The reason that I would have to settle for this has to be as a result of the fact that my grandmother is diabetic and trying all I could to take things that doesn't contain lots of sugar is my goal. Also, I would welcome this option for I love taking chocolates as well as long as I could remember.

It isn't China made.

I'm voting for the American made chocolate diabetic cookies 28oz rather than Godiva's Chocolatier 6 pcs.

It's like asking me who do I trust more America or China? My answer is America. We all know about cheap labor in china, to me that means poor quality. Let's face it if the manufacturing cost is low then it follows that it's quality is also low.

Another factor is the American made cookies comes in a bigger package meaning more pieces of chocolate cookies to enjoy.

You mentioned that both tasted awful and are not what you expected, so I guess it's better to look for more appealing alternatives especially when giving to a special someone for Valentine's Day. the price of the 2 products are also too expensive for their value, and you can get better chocolates for a much lower price.

Honestly I wouldn't go with either of them. I don't know what it is about these chocolates that come wrapped up in boxes, but they never--and I mean absolutely never--have tasted good to me. From the cheapest to the most expensive, they all honestly taste like they come from the dollar store. I suppose if I absolutely had to choose one I'd with the Godiva chocolate, as I absolutely cannot stand artificial sweeteners.

Well obviously, what you prefer is whether you are diabetic or not. I think regular chocolate is in order if you are not, and diabetic chocolate would be the thing if you are. I am not that big on Godiva chocolate personally though because although the wrapping is beautiful, I don;t think the taste is that great.

I will also go with neither because I think their pricing is a bit high. I can easily find a more affordable box of chocolates in my local grocery shop. I am not a huge chocolate eater anyway. I eat it once every few weeks or so because it's too sweet.

Since it's made in china, I wouldn't buy it because china is known for putting anything that is harmful to humans. I'm not saying all products but since both of the cons stated on the description said taste awful, I wouldn't chose any of the two.

I wouldn't have anything against a diabetic patient who longs for a taste of chocolate once in a while. In fact from the looks of things, Diabetic Friendly Sugar Free Chocolate Lovers Assortment is a great option for such person because it's definitely won't complicate his or her health issues. Although the downside of this chocolate is that it doesn't taste so good because of its low or no sugar make up.

Wow,for one looking out to be diabetic free,I think getting the diabetic friendly sugar free chocolate will be the best bet,at least one wouldn't be worrying about sugar intake and the fear of going down with diabetes especially for chocolate lovers like me. I'm really watching my sugar intake because of my weight loss journey. will prefer this chocolates.

I have sweet tooth. However, I have to think about a lot of things when buying chocolates, first of all sugar level in the chocolate, secondly the price. I choose Diabetic Friendly Sugar Free Chocolate Lovers Assortment because it cost less than the other item and it is sugar-free. Well, I do not have diabetics but prevention is better than cure, therefore, I avoid eating sweet.

I am amused with that line about diabetic friendly because it seems that diabetes is now getting to be a big thing. An uncle even asked if you can find a senior who is not diabetic. It is a sad thing to realize that diseases are getting prevalent, much more with diabetes because it is a debilitating disease which deprives the patient of nice food. I am hoping that I will not have diabetes although it is not in our family’s trait.

I prefer the diabetic friendly chocolates. I don't have the physical condition of diabetics. But it's better to stay healthy and choose sugar free chocolates. Especially, if you plan on eating them frequently.
