How much can you pay for a piece of artwork?
Artworks are already that items that make our homes look different and unique. This is the reason we have artists that are always available to deliver the best work for us. Right from time, this is something that has not been cheap as they come expensive. However, I would like to know how much you are able to pay for a piece of artwork or can you pay any amount?

Well, artworks are definitely one of the most premium possessions for an art lover. However various factors need to be considered whenever you are trying to ascertain the value of an artwork. Things like the authenticity, the condition of the artwork, the name of the artist, the market value of similar work need to be considered before taking the decision to buy a piece of art. It is always better to take an advice of an expert if you want to buy something expensive.

Wow. I'm not a certified pro in this field, so I find it very hard to ctually evaluate an artwork and determine it's true value.

Those factors have to be taken into consideration, I think with all these considerations a good amount will be enough for it.

I agree though I am not very much qualified in judging the art. I have my art collection which I made and collected with others. And that can be different of its own in that case there. I guess if you want to properly price them. Then it may need some expert help in such case.

I cannot answer that for now. Artwork appreciation depend on one's taste. Though people tend to scrutinize the technicality of artworks, what's more important is how does it make you feel? What do you think of when you look at it? What feeling did it evoke inside you? If it reminds you of a certain time in your life or it makes you feel a certain way, whatever it may be, then sometimes monetary value go out the window.

I'm not a person who's so fond of collecting art pieces. So, I don't know how to evaluate a work well and how much it should cost. But, one thing that I always consider when I buy something, it should be beautiful.

If the AI becomes more powerful and people start to lose the jobs. That would be surely affect the people who are planning to get the regular work. So in such case the art and music is what going to make money in near future.

How much would I pay for a piece of artwork? To be honest I'm not exactly sure I don't have enough knowledge in this kind of field to give an appropriate estimation of how much I am willing to pay for an artwork. Artworks have a lot of different prices depending on its artist, the better know the artist is the higher the price of the artwork.

I also think that the artists happen to set the price. We compare the price and buy the ones we like and still fit our pockets. You cannot go for tj most expensive if you can get a cheaper one

I do not value art so much though I appreciate it. However, art is one of the most expensive things around. You need to have money to pay a fortune for artwork
Posted by stbrians on 12-11-2018
Well, it depends on the content of the artwork. There are artworks in which they deserve higher prices but there are others who are overpriced. It is true that making an artwork is hard that's why they should exert effort in making one.

I've never buy an artwork before. I've many paintings in the malls and in an exhibit and it's quite pricey, and I can not afford to buy one.

What makes an art expensive is the time and work an artist invested on a piece. Yes some of it might go to items the artist used in making the art. If it's something I really love and the art itself speaks to me I'll pay a decent and fair price for it. But if it's priced too much then I guess I'll just have to live without that piece of art.

It depends on how much crazy you are when it comes to art. Some people are willing to pay hundreds for simple art which some find boring and wouldn't pay even a few dollars. I personally when it comes to art would pay around $20 max, because I don't find art that interesting.

I can at the most pay 1000$ for any specific art piece that I like. But unfortunately I don't have that much money in my hands. So that makes things a bit harder to understand. Because art is more or less subjective. And not all people understand that part.

I know how to appreciate artworks. If I were financially capable I would go buy at least one of artworks made by a famous artist. However for now, I at least can buy some of locally made artworks for sale along our streets which I think is good enough to be displayed in our house.

I can pay at most $250 for a single artwork. Anymore is a waste of money in my opinion. Maybe if I was rich then I'd go up to a $1000. Material things are only temporary in my opinion. We don't carry them to the grave. So why spend a fortune on them?

I am not an art enthusiast but I know that some works of art can fetch a good price depending on the creator. With that said, it looks like the work of art gets the value from the person who made it and not really for the artistic value that it has. What if I can paint a scene like what Van Gogh had and mine is better? Do you think it will sell? But a messy oil painting by Picasso can surely sell for a high price.

If I could afford I definitely buy expensive ones that worth millions. Artworks are investment. Their value rise up. But now I don’t really have money to spare for art. I would just buy necessities right now.

How much can you pay for a piece of artwork: I love art and do really appreciate it but I am not the one who will buy an artwork in my status as of now because my priority is my family an waht i have earn is just enough for our needs and sometimes we go experience shortage also so buying an art is not in my list as of now and I don't have an idea about its pricing.

I really believe that artworks are priceless specially those which has been done with a lot of hard work and time. If only I could, I would buy at least one expensive artwork which i think is worth it. For now, I would just make my own and be contented on looking for samples online.

I personally have never ever bought an expensive piece for myself. From where I come from, there are seldom artists who practice art. That is because they are programmed since childhood, that to make it in life, they have to work for companies. So artistic sides of a person is shunned since childhood, and it really is very rare to find a masterpiece that is for sale. Buying online, I fear that what I buy is not authentic. It is hard to tell by seeing pictures only instead of the real product.

As the price of art itself, this question is extremely subjective! We value things differently, and the price of art varies between eras, people looking at it, etc. There is no final price you can put on art.
