MEtime : Read a Book OR Listen to Music?
Have you ever researched the term Metime on Twitter? The wonderful things people do for their precious moments. Relaxing in a warm bath with flower petals floating in the water. Going on a nature walk. Enjoying a cup of tea. The activity list is endless.

  • We all know that resting and relaxing is key to maintaining our physical and mental health.
  • We all need some time to ourselves but when we get it, sometimes we don't know what to do! (O.o)
For most of us however if we are at home, it's a cold day outside, we have nowhere to go, nothing urgent to do, the housework is done, etc., we can take a moment to relax.

Let's imagine that you have no Internet access and no television to watch.
But you do have some MEtime.

Which activity would you prefer?

Reading a book or listening to music?

  • Reading a book, while very enjoyable holds me captive. Although I must say that snuggling up under a warm blanket, during a quiet time, and reading a good book is a treasured moment. But I'm stuck on a couch, an easy chair, or in my bed, holding the book with two hands and reading it. I can't move freely around the house or do anything else. Yes. I know I'm supposed to be relaxing. But!! … I have to multitask! It helps me relax. LOL.

  • I prefer listening to music. I still have a CD player. Just pop in 5 CDs and listen to music for hours. As an alternative, I can turn on the radio to an easy listening station. While I'm listening to the music I can do other things that are also relaxing. Knitting, crocheting, art, look through old photographs, etc. If I have a pair of wireless headphones? That's even better. It's my music world. I keep my music all to myself and nobody can intrude. If the music is soothing enough, I could even slow myself down completely and fall asleep.
Is listening to music your first choice for rest and relaxation?

Go Both Ways

to be honest i like both listening to music and also reading books, sometimes while reading a good book i tend to listen to music at the same time so that i can be in the same mood as that of the scenarios in the book. there is a pros and cons in both of these. sometimes enhancing your brain and reading books in a solemn and quiet place is just as relaxing as laying down on your soft bed and listening to relaxing music. and doing both of this things is like experiencing the best of both worlds.

it depends on my mood. sometimes reading takes you a new place. you tend to pause for several minutes and reflect on things. on the other hand, i really do not have a specific genre when it comes to music. Again, it depends on what i feel on that particular moment. when i feel my adrenaline shooting up, i listen to a rock music alone in my room and when i feel calm, i listen to an instrumental kind of music. for me, its really on how you wanted to be more relaxed.

I see nothing bad in combining both, I usually put on some good music and read a good book or even some information on internet that I find interesting, this might even include comic books. Well, it's true that you won't be as focused on the music as you would be if you're just listening to it with your eyes closed, but combining both is great.

I am not a big reader and I am a huge fan of music so as much as I know that reading probably is the more productive way of spending time, I feel I am being equally as productive when I listen to music because to me that is reading. I am just observing an art form that appeals to me more and in some ways I am also able to analyze it so there's is probably a similar type of stimulation going on there as well.

Read a book.

Reading a book on a daily basis can help someone to know so much about a particular aspect of life which is quite great and nice. I have come to realize that while listening to music can help one to feel better over a period of time, it is not something that is going to have a long-term impact unlike what we have with reading a book on a free time.

Music is life

I choose to listen to music first whenever I got stress or just to have a good time for myself. It gives me a lot of relaxation to lower down all the negativity in my body and brain.
Posted by MomoStarr16 on 03-16-2018

I do both but I prefer listening to music more.

I love to listen to music while reading a book. Whenever I have a Metime I do both while I'm lying on my bed. However, if I had to choose between the two it'll be listening to music. I don't like reading if it's too quiet. I get easily sleepy and after reading two pages, I always end up sleeping.

Do Work While Listening a Music

When reading a book, you can only read that book and nothing else. When listening to music, you can do anything else as your hands are not occupied. It's much more convenient.
Posted by rlpzbeermoney on 09-29-2018

Music Lover

I would like to do both because I enjoy doing both. My problem with reading a book is that once I engage reading, it is hard for me to stop. Unlike in listening to music, I can still tend to my garden, clean my house and do my assignments. The thing with listening to music is that I can be a productive person. I can even do my gym training while listening to my music.

I choose listening to music. I can listen while reading. I can also do other things.

Reading a book while listening to any kind of ligh

I think reading a book is one of my most favorite hobbies. whenever I get free time I will always try and read as much as possible. listening to good music is also one of my hobbies. Right kind of music will often help you to reduce your stress and tensions. sometimes I do both the things together. I will often listen to some light music and read a nice book at the same time.
Posted by jpk0007 on 10-24-2018

Definitely music!

Whenever I have a free time music always saves me from boredom. Like when riding a bus and getting stuck in traffic, a continuous playlist of different genres spins my imagination song after song, more than a book does. And I have the house for myself, I like to close all the doors, close all the windows and plug in an amplifier, and sing on top of my lungs to song like Sweet Child O' Mine and It's My Life. LOL.
Posted by emiaj55 on 10-16-2018

Boosts my mood

I always listen to music on my free time. It is very rare for me to not listen to a single music for one day. Everytime I metime, I always face down and imagine things I want to happen while listeing to my favorite songs.
Posted by hstinscdln on 11-13-2018

Sitting on a comfortable couch or bed with my wireless headphones on listening to some cool relaxing music then holding a book with my hands and getting absorbed in the story with a glass of water or juice well placed on a table. That's my best definition of Metime with no Tv and no internet. Just me at home having a good time.

Music is the greatest

Listening to music is my kind of jam. It really puts me at ease and puts me in a daydream sequence where I can really enjoy myself especially when I am traveling or having a good rest. My favorite kind of music is listening to up tune or motivating songs, like the ones you hear in anime or in action movies. Those really get my daydreams going.
Posted by YoloBoy on 11-14-2018

Music is the winner

I can't relax while I'm reading a book -I concentrate way too much and become engaged in the story. When listening to music, I can close my eyes and let go of all thoughts and all worries. It transports me to another dimension.
Posted by mcnasci24 on 11-11-2018

Music all the way

Oh my god I hate reading books so much, I've tried purchasing actual books and no matter what I do I really can't concentrate reading. I would rather listen to audiobooks.
Posted by ivandelrey on 12-10-2018

I like music but I don't listen to it that often unless I am in the car. I am a book reader, but honestly, rather than early of those, I like to watch videos and movies. That is what I like to do when I have spare time.
Posted by kgord on 03-16-2018

Read a book

Whenever I don't have Internet access, reading a book is always my choice. Besides there are several books in my book shelf that I want to finish them, I really enjoy sitting down comfortably and holding a book and read. I think it's really relaxing to do so. Listening to music is relaxing as well, but I think reading a book does help to nurture my soul and perhaps help me to gain wisdom as well. It's full of inspiration and makes me feel good.

Read A Book

Oh, it has to be read a book every time! I just love getting lost in the pages and wondering what is going to happen next. Sometimes I read outside my comfort zone too to see how writers write about different subjects. Mostly I enjoy novels but I do also enjoy reading factual historical genre as well.

Reading for Relaxation

Reading is a passion of mine ever since I was in gradeschool, I think I've read more than a thousand books since then. I'm a speed reader, I don't know how I developed this skill but, it was in highschool when I was making several book reports for my classmates and I would just scan the pages and understand the page.

I like reading science fiction and graphic novels, it brings me enjoyment and pleasure, it also relaxes me. I like to visualize what I'm reading, this makes it fun.

Posted by Kakashi2020 on 04-02-2018

I do the two anytime I'm stressed out and I just need metime to keep things going I just relax with my favorite music and it either put me in a better frame of mind or keep me going for the time.Music is a good food to our body, spirit, and soul it helps uplift it and as such it really a blood tonic needed to turn things around when we are now down and worn out at least that is what it does to my wrecking nerves.
Posted by lovely on 03-15-2018
Why do we have to chose? I love them both. I used to listen to music in my free time. But I realized that you can listen to music while working and it makes your work more enjoyable. I now work from home and I listen to music all the time. Still it's not my favorite thing to do. I love to read. Specifically romance books. I started reading romance novels when I was 14 years old. I still enjoy them to this day. When I was younger they helped me to get through alot of rough patches, with the hope that things will get better.
Posted by jaymish on 03-16-2018
This one is hard. I both do them when I am free and to take away stress. They both make me happy and show a lot of interesting things when I do them. But of course one of them should win so I am going to vote with it. Good article you got here.
Posted by MomoStarr16 on 03-16-2018
I think it is not necessary to choose either to Read a book or listen to music because both have different significance to our lives. By reading books, our knowledge and understanding of different things will be improved. Music can help us to relax, ease us from stress, motivate us when we are at work, improves our sleep, can put is in good mood, and could even heal us.
Posted by vhinz on 03-16-2018
I would have to go with listening to music. I do read books and enjoy them but I don't really read daily. I tend to read a few books per months max. On the other hand, I listen to music for hours every single day and I can't imagine my life without it. It's just incredible what an effect it can have on your mood and life.

This would be a hard choice for me - particularly as I enjoy both reading and listening to music - however as I have a huge amount of hobbies - gardening, hiking, hand painting motives on ceramics/glass, knitting and more - all of which are even more enjoyable than they already are when listening to my favorite sounds - I think it fair to say that I'm probably leaning more towards listening to music than the alternative of reading books in my down time.

It is really hard to choose, because these two are such an amazing stuffs to do. Music can help us relax and meditate. While reading can educate or entertain us. It would be unfair to choose one, as it has a different aspect of usage.
Posted by JB Fernandez on 03-16-2018
In the olden days, it was a toss up between reading a book that I like or listening to music that I like. Take note that I included the qualifier “I like” because I hate listening to music that I don’t like, I get annoyed. But now, it seems that my age have made me change for that so called MEtime. When I want to relax, I get my phone and play with Candy Crush. That game really entertains me no end that it is now my stress reliever.
Posted by Corzhens on 03-16-2018
Listening to music is something that gives me the good feeling that none of the other option which is to read a book doesn't guarantee. I've come to understand that listening to music is a way that we get to calm our body down especially on situations where we are living under depression or feeling lonely. I don't joke with the power of music for I've come to notice that it is far more effective than reading a book no matter how interesting the book might seem.
Posted by Barida on 03-16-2018
It's hard to do both. For some who said a combination believe it or not study shows that listening to a music while reading on something decrease a readers focus. Yeah you might be able to do both but It will be quite difficult to fully understand what you are reading. Base on my experience I tried to compare my performance while i'm doing both task vs just focus on reading a book in a quiet surroundings. I noticed that I was able to finish reading the book that I am reading with high quality of understanding the context of the book.
Posted by gavinci13 on 03-17-2018
I actually like to do a combination of both, and I mean that in several ways. The majority of music out there--especially music with lyrics in it--can be pretty distracting while trying to read, but I find that some soft ambient music really helps to set the atmosphere when reading. Playing soft music on low volume can really be conducive to a nice reading experience. In another sense, I sometimes like to listen to audio books. There are times when I simply have a headache, or my eyes are feeling strained from a long day of writing, and listening to audio books and some soft music really does the trick during those times.
Posted by Denis_P on 03-17-2018
Well it's all depends on my mood, but most of the time, listening to musics, so far, I don't have new books, so, my pastime right now is listening to music. And actually I used to listen to music almost 60% of my time. when I wake up in the morning my first thing to do is to open my computer and play my playlist, and then while travelling going to work. I need music to ignore some people around me.

Music can really set the mood, while reading can hone the brain. But undeniably, listening music is much more preferred by others for their METime.
Posted by JB Fernandez on 03-17-2018
I love listening to music and this helps me to relax. However, I listen to music mostly on YouTube. So, if I am left with no internet connection then I will go for book reading. I also enjoy reading and this is something that I do before going to bed.
Posted by Pixie on 03-18-2018
Read a book would be my choice. Although there are times when I prefer music. However I mostly save my music for walks or long plane / train rides.
Posted by NickJ on 03-18-2018
I like to listen to music as well as read books. However, if there is a choice between reading books and listening to the music, I will choose reading books. I can gain knowledge and entertainment from books, however, music only provides me entertainment.

Exactly! It is very unfair for listening to music to be rivaled into reading books. Those two offers a different kind of flavor to us. One for entertainments, and the other for honing our knowledge.
Posted by JB Fernandez on 03-21-2018
You can read for entertainment as well as knowledge. However, you gain nothing except pleasure by listening to music. By the way getting pleasure is also important in life because if you have pleasure in life, your life will be easy.

I listen to music as well as read books. However, when it comes to reaping the benefits fro these activities, I will always choose to read books. Books can provide us entertainment as well as knowledge. We need both in life, thus listening to music as well as reading books both are important in life. having said that if you are looking for entertainment as well as knowledge, grab a book.
Posted by vinaya on 04-01-2018
Both of them are essential so I would not choose either of the two because both of them are the same. I admit that I am not that fond of reading and I love listening to music but I need both of them.
Posted by nekonieden on 03-19-2018
I'm an avid reader of books, and so I prefer reading books during my free time. Whenever I feel bored, I sit on the sofa and read one of my favourite books whilst sipping coffee. Reading helps me refresh my mind and also expands my knowledge.
Posted by TheInsaneSakif on 03-22-2018
I'll go for music, i'm not really into books specially long ones. I'll rather get my hands dirty while listening some good music. Relaxing to me is a day working out my crafts with good music. Music gives me that extra boost and a little bit of bounce during me relaxing.
Posted by fishbate on 03-22-2018
You need music to find pleasure. However, how will you gain knowledge if you are not reading books? Music provides no knowledge, books are for knowledge and entertainment.
Posted by vinaya on 04-01-2018
I have to agree with your statement about being able to multitask when listening to music. If I am reading a book I need to be totally focused. Music allows one to diversify. When I am exercising I listen to a certain genre of music which I find relaxing to workout to. Same with doing chores, paying bills, mellowing out, and taking a nap. I do not find the same versatility with reading.
Posted by buckeye44 on 03-24-2018
I actually listen to music while reading books. It is as if the story that I am reading has a background music. I usually listen to love songs whenever I read novels about romance. For me it adds up to the emotion of the characters and at the same time it makes me really into the story. Academically, I as well listen to music. There is always this feeling of being inspired and motivated whenever I listen to my favorite songs.
Posted by Vinsanity on 03-25-2018
I feel distracted listening to music while reading. In fact I cannot even listen to music when I am writing. I enjoy listening to music in my free time. I listen to music when I am bored. Music revitalizes my mind. I read books for entertainment as well as knowledge.
Posted by vinaya on 04-01-2018
It would actually depend on what my mood was and what book was available really. If the book was good and something that I was interested in then I would definitely probably read the book (especially if I was really bored and truly had nothing else to do). But if I was just lying around and was on the computer as well, I would probably listen to a bit of music to pass the time and to help me relax as well.
Posted by kingcool52 on 03-28-2018
Reading has two purposes: entertainment and knowledge. Listening to music has one purpose: to entertain you. You need knowledge and entertainment. Whether I will pick a book to read or play music depends on my mood. If I am in a mood to read, I don't listen to music, and if I am in a mood to have fun, I listen to music.
Posted by vinaya on 04-01-2018
It depends on my mood if I want to read or just lay down and listen to music. Most of the time I love listening to music because that is my stress reliever, I just get to lie down and feel the music around me. However, if I am really bored at that time, I want to grab a piece of a book and be addicted to it and finish it for three days.
Posted by vivalavanda on 03-29-2018
I think I would prefer listening to a music because I feel more comfortable and convenient about it. Listening to a music makes me feel relax and motivated to do things on my own. I sometimes feel emotional every time I would hear some of my favorite music which is really very memorable for me. I feel a lot better in listening to music rather than reading a book just to be entertained for the whole day especially if there is no internet connection in my place. Listening to a music is really one of my hobby during my idle time because of the benefits that it gives for my self.
Posted by junrose123 on 04-01-2018
I like both. Listening to music is an easy to remove stress. It's always fun to jive to your favorite tunes. I'd read books whenever I have free time. You have to be in the zone for that. Focus is at its best when you feel like reading.
Posted by Steve5 on 04-01-2018
Maybe i would probably read some books during my idle time because sometimes I want to learn new ideas that playing music cannot give us. Reading some book might be also a fun way to enjoy for the day since you can really learned from it especially if you are into gathering knowledge for a certain purpose.
Posted by junrose123 on 04-02-2018
I enjoy doing both reading a book and listening to music. Sometimes, I do it at the same time. Reading a book is already a habit of me since when I was young, in fact my first book to read is entitled 'That Starry Night', and I like listening to music when I get bored in what I am doing. As what they say that 'Music is life', I agree on it because I believe most people do enjoy music. It just depends what type of music they are on to but we know music gives life to our boring life sometimes, right? But which of the two I do most is listening to music because I am fond of singing different anime theme songs too.
Posted by mitan143 on 04-08-2018
I really like listening to some music whenever I am busy doing something either in my work or at home. I feel relax and feel motivated to do things on my own. I can't really imagine life without music it might be so boring and lonely. Music for me is life and everything because it give s me the energy and courage to aim for more.
Posted by junrose123 on 04-08-2018
I go for both because there are times when I want to read a book and there are times when I just want to listen to music. If I just finished a good book, I don't want to start another one immediately. I just do other things like listen to music or play video games during my free time while thinking about the conclusion of the last book that I read.
Posted by EfficientNinja on 04-12-2018
I only read books whenever I did not have the chance to do it for some time ago, but surely most of the time I prefer to listen to some music because music for me is everything. It gives me the strength and courage to face all the problems in life. I really feel more convenient to listen to some music than reading a book just to entertainment myself.
Posted by junrose123 on 04-12-2018
I prefer reading, not necessarily a book, but usually web content of various topics. I'm just too hyperactive to ever enjoy a book. When I was younger, I do remember losing sleep just to finish an interesting book. I'd spend my allowance as a student to buy them. Back then, there weren't too many sources of second hand books. Thanks to technology, I now have many options for reading and most of them are actually free. The kids of this generation are lucky to have them at their disposal. I have nothing against music and I used to enjoy them at some points in my life, particularly during the cheesy stages. These days, however, I am more focused on learning and absorbing work-related stuff.

Reading is an activity that stimulates reflection on our principles, values, thoughts and attitudes. And this does not happen only when you read self-help books. Fictional stories, classical literature, biographies and even books related to professional subjects provoke some kind of reflection during reading. After reading a book, you are never the same person you were before reading it. Even if you do not realize the change, something you have read has been kept in your thoughts and contributed to your growth.
Posted by hermessantos on 04-15-2018
I loved listening to music. It makes me relax and calm. Whenever I'm stress out I listen to music. It help me a lot in my daily activities. It motivates me to work.

I have always been listening to music during my metime. I enjoy listening to music and it helps me feel relaxed. Sometimes I can stand and dance or just sit and relax.

I now want to start doing something different which means reading during metime. This is because I want to improve my writing skills and start writing books. I also want to start reviewing books.

Whenever I am doing some activities just like for example claiming bitcoins to some faucets out there to increase my bitcoin earnings, I mainly listen to a music so that I will not feel bored for the repeated task that I am doing every minute of the day. I feel more motivated to do some bitcoin faucets whenever I heard a music because it helps me to become more energetic and to become more extra diligent in doing that way since many people are being bored for doing some claiming to bitcoin faucets because of the repeated task that you will be doing on and on.

I definitely prefer to listen to music especially if I am in my hometown together with my family. Listening to music is one of our bonding moments in the house. It feels great to hear sweet sound music at home because it makes me stay alive and motivated for the whole day. Listening to a music really gives us a lot of benefits not just emotional but was well as physically because it makes our heart healthy.
Posted by junrose123 on 04-17-2018
I like to read books because there is helpful information and learning on reading books while music only gives relaxation. Reading books also can improve your reading skills and you can learn some new words there and become familiar with proper use of punctuation and proper grammar. And most important you gain additional knowledge on reading books.
Posted by albino on 04-24-2018
Well, honestly depends on my mood. I really love doing that both if I have free time, but there was a time that I really like to read books specially if the story is really interesting, and I want to listen to music if I'm not feeling well and I want to boost my adrenaline, but most of the time, listening to music is my priority. Beside, I don't have a new books right now.
Posted by ion on 05-23-2018
If I were to compare both, music is much more enjoying and relaxing but reading is important, it makes your brain function well as you will imagine how the settings described from the story in the book. Before, I am really bored when it comes to reading,as soon as I grow older, I realized how reading is essential and helpful to us and this widens your imagination and creativity as well as your vocabulary. You will be able to explore more words that you have not encountered before.
Posted by nekonieden on 08-27-2018
I will go for both. Reading and listening to music is my favorite past time. Both gives me relaxation and comfortability.
Posted by mark86 on 08-27-2018
Relaxation is the best time to rest our minds and bodies from a very tough week we have gone through. Listening to music and reading books are some things we do to relax. If I may choose which I like better to do, I would prefer listening to music. Soft music or instrumental songs like being played by saxophones and pianos are the best for me. Listening to music while drinking a bit to enjoy the mood make it very rewarding. It feels very relaxing and comfortable.
Posted by NesMarcos on 09-01-2018
I'm much more interested with music than I am with literature so the choice here is easy for me. I usually do spend a good amount of time discovering new songs and creating playlists. I know reading is probably the more worthwhile hobby but I can't help liking what like. I've also felt the enjoyment of reading a book but I just prefer the excitement of discovering new songs that I like.
Posted by Wubwub on 09-01-2018
Both are good for me. But music is more colourful and relaxing I say. I listen to music to start my day with my coffee, this help me relax my mind by just following the rhythm of the song I like. Whenever I'm happy, sad, upset, my playlist always help me to get back in track to cool me down. I do love to read too but only if the story really gets my interest. I read more on trivia, news and more on documentaries. But I still choose music because its what really describes me as being me.
Posted by romy_ter on 09-14-2018
Its more comfortable to listen to music. You can do other things while listening. Reading a book will really get your attention.
Posted by jeffreyjose48 on 09-19-2018
It depends on my mood. If I am tired then I prefer to listen to music since I just have to lay down on my bed. Unlike reading that requires understanding to enjoy what you read. And if I want to sleep, I will read first a book since reading makes me sleepy.
Posted by superlicca on 10-11-2018
I love doing both. The satisfaction that it brings me when I read a book and listen to a music is unexplainable. It relaxes my mind and at the same time is being fed with words. There's no other great combination than this. I personally think, music opens the mind to greater things and books makes everything great.

Reading books and listening to music are two different things and they contribute differently to our spiritual development. To me, we cannot avoid doing these two. We learn and enhance our imagination during reading and music heals our soul or spiritual being. We cannot say which one is better than the other, sometimes their contributions overlap each other. For example, when we are tired and stressed, both reading and music can soothe our mind and soul. It all depends on how an individual can benefit from the two activities.

You are absolutely correct. It all depends on an individual. I love both but at times, I will either read a book or listen to music, while there is a time I can read a book with music playing in the background.

I can't decide, it varies for me. If my me time will only last for hours and not sure if I can have a me time for the coming days, I might just listen to music. But if I was on a vacation or like if I have me time everyday I would read a book. Because personally I love reading books but I don't want to read then stop then read again after like a month or two because I would eventually forget where I'm at the book and what already happened to what I read.

I prefer reading a book, because I can use my head to imagine everything, you can go at your own pace. The purpose of the books is not to give advice on life. The purpose of the books is parenting. The aim is to teach the child (the reader) to think by himself. When an individual learns to think properly, then he does not need advice.

So do not waste your time with novels and books that give advice. Yes, from every book you can learn something useful. Yes, from every person you can learn something useful. But the most important goal of reading is to put a solid foundation of thinking.

The books that build up thinking are philosophy, psychology, and mathematics. Everything else is a consequence of this knowledge. Thinking is a psychological function. Logic is just a part of thinking. Logic is just a tool of thinking. The logic may be wrong and correct according to the point of view.

To truly relax and have some Metime, I prefer music. No matter what genre I choose, it always brightens my mood and gives me a fresh break from everything.

When I have some me-time, I just really do what I feel like doing. If I want to play video-games, I just open up my computer and start playing. If I want to read, I'll get a book that I'm currently reading or a random book from a bookshelf. If I feel like listening to music, I'll open up my Spotify playlist and listen to some tunes. If I feel tired, I just take a nap.

I don't really prefer one over the other.

You are like my niece who would put on her headset and sit on the couch with feet on the stool. It was like a scene in the movie with her position that I sometimes take a photo of that. I didn’t know that she was relieving the stress in her body because she does that often when some comes home from work. She said that fine music can uplift her spirit and set her mood for the better.

MEtime: Read a books or listen to music: I love both reading books and listening music, if I have to rate the two listening a music is advance than reading because listening a music can really makes me feel calm specially in physical and mental aspects it was the most effective to relax and helo set your good mood and no question with that.

I love listening to music and reading! Unfortunately, i can't do both at the same time lol. If l had to choose I'll definitely go with reading a novel. There's almost nothing I like as much as i like and enjoy reading a captivating novel. I keep wondering if there's a way l could earn money by reading novels. If there is then I'm going to make it my full-time job. If anyone knows of such a job please tell me about it and I'll be eternally grateful
