Manchester United Unbeaten Run Ended

Manchester United Unbeaten Run Ended
Ever since the start of this season 2017/2018 English Premier League, Manchester United have been in a fine form with an unbeaten record in all competition. Every Manchester United fan has been looking towards the prospects of having an invisible season especially in the Premier League but all that hope came crashing when they met with Huddersfield.

It's has been a 45 years history and record made, as this was the first ever meeting between both clubs and at the full 90 minutes, Huddersfield had the bragging rights of beating Manchester United on 2-1 scoreline.

No body expected such outcome in the meeting between two clubs, but Huddersfield came with a point to prove and they executed their game plan 100 percent, leaving Manchester United feeling sore after the match.

Honestly? I am not surprised because there's no such thing as unbeaten in most sports. Unless you retire like some boxers, it's impossible to hold the unbeaten score as a football club. There are way too many games and different factors - a loss will happen no matter what. I didn't expect them to lose to Huddersfield since Manchester United are the superior team in my eyes but still. I hope that they won't take the loss too hard and will come out even stronger.

Of course yes, you are correct. It's definitely impossible to maintain an all out unbeaten record in sports, but in this match between Huddersfield and Manchester United, the former were truly underdogs and no one expected them to beat Manchester United.

Losing to huddersfield was unexpected because Manchester united on paper should have won without breaking a sweat, but there's no such thing as a perfect run in sports. The only one who managed to do this in our generation is the boxer Floyd mayweather, but a lot of people argue that it's not a perfect run because of a number of factors. So Manchester united losing shouldn't really surprise us.

Losing was definitely bound to happen, it would have been a lot better had United lost to Liverpool last two weeks ago. It would have afforded them a little more respect than getting beaten by a lowly and poor Huddersfield.

I was expecting Manchester United to win this match but unfortunately they lost. Manchester United has been playing wonderfully since the start of this season. I hope that Manchester United will catch up in the upcoming matches and score some goals.

This was actually the expectation of most football fans all over the world, even those in the sports betting community, they all believed that Manchester United would easily win Huddersfield but the reverse seemed to have taken place, thereby leaving everyone in trouble of losing a serious bet.

That is the power of football for you, no matter how strong a team can be for a long duration , it can still be beaten at some point or the other, so it shouldnt really come as a surprise as it happens also in the other European league.

Well, sooner or later it was meant to happen. Just look at them now. They got beaten by the City as well. I can take in defeats from Huddersfield but can't accept defeat from Chelsea and City. They are absolute rivals for me.

I actually watched this match between Huddersfield and Manchester United and I must confess that I was completely disappointed with seeing a big club like Manchester United get beaten by a lowly club known as Huddersfield. It was quite a shame seeing the defense of Manchester United not up to the task of keeping the attackers of Huddersfield at bay by losing 2-1, even conceding 2 goals before United scored 1 goal.

I know how the disappointment of fans affect the sport when the heavy favorite team suffers an unexpected loss. Over here, it is basketball that fans are crazy about and when their favored team loses, you can hear the clamor and the complaints that the game was not fair although, in fact, their team lost fair and square. When you listen to the fans relate the story of the game, they will always be biased and there’s the defense they put up for their losing team. Anyway, there is a saying that records are made to be broken so there you go, goodbye to the perfect game record of Manchester United.
