North Korea

North Korea
North Korea need no introduction as recent happenings has made the nation the most popular on earth. Tupac always said me against the world..i think he meant North Korea against the world.

Threatenend but feared. Small but mighty. The world has never been on the edge like today. Despite all the pressure, especially coming from the world's most powerful nation, the US, korea doesn't seem to be slowing down and has miraculously developed the most powerful weapon ever.

safe place to live on exile without fear of extradition or extraordinary rendition.

Fear of isolation from the world.

I think they are now

Personally, I judge with recent occurrences that is going on in the world today in judging and making my decision. And with the kind of stunts that North Korea is pulling today, I have reasons to believe that they are introducing themselves to be world that are not just more powerful than South Korea but also to some of the world powers like the United States of America.

For North Korea to outrightly challenge the United States of America in terms of military strength and complete defiance to the warning by the United Nations, it shows that they have something up their sleeves which is believed to be capable of equaling the military and weapons of mass destruction strength of the United States of America and the United Nations all included.

North is more powerful

North Korea may be suffering from economic blockage from the West natural disaster and food shortage, I still believe the North is far more better than the South militarily. The North has spent years preparing for any large scale war with either South Korea or the US, even when it is still undergoing criticism by its close neighbors Russia and China, it still maintain a stand that when even it is threatened it can strike back.

It is because of North Koreas military might thats why the US has refused to take any action as it did to Iraq under Saddam in 2003

South Korea

South Korea
Ranked as the nation with the fifth most powerful military, one of best economy in the world but unfortunately the neighbor and first enemy of North Korea.

We've seen a tremendous show of military might by South Korea as a result of continuing tension with their foes, North Korea. The USA an ally of South Korea has recently increase military presence in the region as show of support for the south.

Some might argue that increased presence of American military in the peninsula shows a weakness on the part of South Korea which indicates the fear of North Korea.

Do you think South Korea is afraid of North Korea? North Korea vs South Korea. Who do you think is more powerful?

Good for holisays and tourism.

Fear of invasion by North Korea.

South Korea

It's no new thing that North Korea is a hated country by a lot of people and South Korea is quite the opposite. North Korea doesn't spare expense with their military, but a lot of their weapons are a bit dated. North Korea's economy also isn't the best either and South Korea's economy is flourishing so I don't think they both even have the same opportunities as far as artillery go or their selection of it. That being said, South Korea probably gets better deals and has more money to spend on their military than North Korea does.

It's much better, of course.

This is sort of a no-brainer. Obviously, South Korea is much better due to the 1st world economy. In fact, North Korea is so down and out that it isn't even probably a developing nation. It's just a total nightmare, similar to some Nazi death camp.

However, though, there are some western defenders of North Korea. They might note that there are no unemployed in NK (because it's Communist) and the air is cleaner (due to the lack of industry and/or capitalist industry). Finally, they might make some note of the purity of the people. As with say, Jehovah's Witnesses, the people are simply untouched by evil influences, other than the Kims, of course, lol.

Anyway, I lived in South Korea and can testify that it is a swell place, the only bad thing being the nationalism which sometimes goes into overkill and causes an irrational hatred of Japan and the US.

If you want to visit the country and have good time. Then surely the south korea sounds lot better in that case. And you'd have more fun too. I'd say that north korea is unsafe. And more likely we are more better and safe in the south korea. And we can feel like going to meet the new people and culture which is family safe there.

South Korea

I voted for the South Korea because it is different than North Korea were people live in the communism and are treated as animals. I have seen a documentary that there in North Korea still exist camps were people are treated as animals, and some of them are even killed. Soth Korea is different and treats people as a human with rights.

A great nation

The greatest source of Korean pride is Hangul. Hangul is the alphabet of Korean; it is the written language. It was developed by King Sejong in the 15th century. Sejong is known as the Great King and is revered throughout the country. Hangul was created to be simple to learn and use, especially for the common citizens.Well Samsung is also a pride for us but not for the younger Koreans as they consider it a parasite.

North Korea treats its people inhumanely so it doesn't sound too appealing for me to root for them regardless of how much power they have acquired, and from what I know they haven't even really garnered all that much power anyway and even though they may have some ultimate type weapons and ammunition it's not like they are able to use it because once they do they know they will be obliterated by all other countries that can retaliate.

South Korea

Although North Korea has a lot of weapons of mass destruction, South Korea will still win because of the help of all those countries that support them. That's why until now, North Korea can't start a war against South Korea because they know the consequences that they'll receive once they start the war. Lots of countries will gonna help South Korea to fight them aside of their own strength and capabilities. I pity those people who are like a prisoner because of the government rules and regulations inside North Korea. You can easily get killed even for small things that you do so you need to measure every action that you do inside North Korea.

I see a lot of disadvantages of both nations. I don't usually pay attention to the media, because they keep spreading fake news at the same time; they don't usually verify the news itself rather than to spread it to the public. I think it's up to the nation like North Korea to protect their own interest is their best they can do, as of now. The only thing I often times heard is the lacking of food supply in the North Korea, they don't usually adapting new way of system rather they keep tracking the old one, and that is the communist way.

The North Korea is an independent nation, and no other nation should intervene. But a lot of things is very dangerous about them, they are preparing to have war in America which is so dangerous. I think they have right about it when it comes about the incoming danger of not being allied with America, because they believed they have the right to establish they own government system.

We are going to Seoul, South Korea in November for a short vacation. I am expecting to enjoy the place particularly with the food and the entertainment. Friends who have been to South Korea are all praises for the country. With North Korea, I know that it is a struggling with its economy and most people are poor because of the sanctions being endured by the country. And now that there are more sanctions due to the idiosyncrasy of their leader, I don’t think I will have to volition to go there for a visit even if the plane ticket is for free. I would rather stay home.

I think DPRK is one of the worst places to live in. And you're much better place compared to the DPRK and some similar other countries. The laws in the south korea on the other hand are better. And people are given better chance. And the lifestyle of the people in south are much better. I have learned that it's better to focus and learn from culture which is more safe these days as well.

Personally, I don't think that NK is as bad as the outside world want to make it seem. Sure it should be no paradise seeing as communist countries always make life tough for their people. Still, I don't believe rumors of forced labor camps and of people dying of hunger. It sounds like enemy propaganda to me

North Korea might be militarily more powerful than South Korea, however, in other aspects, South Korea excels. Politically, South Korea is a better country because there is a democracy. North Korea is a Communist country, and in a Communist country, there is no freedom to speak, not freedom to gather, no freedom to oppose. Economically, South Korea is stable.

South Korea is more powerful than North Korea because it is better in all aspects excepts nuclear arms development. South Korea's economy is much better than the North because of their cultural exports and tech businesses. If the South's government had been as crazy as those of the North, they would have channeled their finances to fund nuclear missiles development and they would have outpaced the North in this field. The presence of the US military on South Korea cannot be construed as an admission of weakness, but a cooperative attitude towards maintaining balance of power in the region and a smart approach to protecting their borders.

South Korea has the misfortune of being next to North Korea but I think it is a powerful nation in it's own right. It is a powerful country. North Korea by contrast just tries to make themselves look big and tough by using their weaponry. I think it is an awful thing they are doing. It is just a terrible thing that does not need to happen. I am very dismayed by their behavior.

There is no need to argue this out, it is as simple as abc, everyone knows that South Korea is more powerful than the north. THey have one of the best economy like Japan in the world and they are more civilised than the north.

Just to update. Our trip to South Korea was pretty good. It was a great country with nice people. The tourist spots are worth to see and the hotel we stayed in was really good. Aside from the high cost of living, South Korea is a nice place. In fact, we are coming back next year.

South Korea. More stable, and its government allows for many different benefits for the people like filmmaking, art, etc. North Korea is LITERALLY run by ONE PERSON. If that person dies, who can tell what will become of it.

I would choose South Korea as it is more civilized and modern than North Korea. North Korea's government looks powerful and it so strict that a lot of things are restricted to do. There are also tourists spots there you can tour and they can film movies and series which their series are more trend here in Philippines.
