Paypal was born when and Confinity fused together in 1998. was founded by Elon Musk and Confinity by Peter Thiel, Max Levchin, Ken Howery and Luke Nosek.

In 2002 Paypal was acquired by eBay becoming a subsidiary and in 2015 Paypal finally become independent as separate traded company.

Overall PayPal is the largest online money transfer platform with no competitor even coming close to PayPal. I personally use only PayPal for all my online transactions and payment. If a website doesn't have payment or withdraw option with PayPal I'm out of there in a second.

I used altrenatives like Skrill which are quite decent but nothing compares with PayPal.

  • You have a huge security as a buyer no matter what you buy, you can always make a claim and get you money back if you didn't fully get what you originally bought.
  • The fees are great, at least for my country and my account. No matter the sum I withdraw into my bank account the fee stays the same, $2.5 US dollars per withdraw, which is pretty great from my point of view.
  • You can pay pretty much everything online with PayPal, all big and important websites have a PayPal payment option implemented.
  • Everything is fast and easy.

  • Some countries may experience huge transfer fees which don't make PayPal the best payment option, at least for Freelancers.
  • Some countries may have a lot of account limits that can become pretty annoying to unlock.

I've used Paypal for years and it is accepted almost everywhere now, even in retail stores. Payza is fine and all but isn't as well known nor widely used.

I only used PayPal and so I am voting for it based on my experience. Overall I am quite happy with it since it is accepted on most sites when it comes to shopping, and the fees are not that high. Bank transfers do not take ages to get processed. I once had to go through the ordeal of lifting a limit that had been set, but other than that case I think PayPal is safe and easy to use, and quite convenient.

I have been using Paypal for years and I actually used Payza too for a few months but nothing beats Paypal in my opinion. I've never had any major problems at all with Paypal and on a few occasions, when I experienced some slight issues they solved it within a matter of hours. When I contacted Payza, it took them more than a week to answer my question. And the answer was terrible too! - Paypal is the right choice. Period.

Paypal is accepted worldwide and most sites use it for payment options, they deliver prompt services and are very reliable. Payment issues are usually critical and its very important to ensure proper securities, over the years PayPal has proven to be both reliable and dependable.

Companies with vast payments and various payment margins can easily exact their transactions with PayPal, accurate records of account and proper user securities makes PayPal a preferable choice.

Their are other means of payments but PayPal is outstanding.

The best

I have been using PayPal forever! I never once had any problems with them and I heard their support service is really good and responsive.

I never tried Payza since I don't see any reason why I would. PayPal has everything that I need.

The money transfers and withdrawals are always speedy. Big thumbs up. Using PayPal is amazing.

PayPal For The Win!

I grew up with my parents using PayPal accounts for online transactions. I first heard about Payza after signing up to a few Paid To Click (PTC) websites. When I asked my parents about Payza, they had never heard of it (let alone used it). Personally, I've never really taken the time to look at Payza's website and interface. Primarily because I'm satisfied with all my transaction needs via PayPal.

I guess if I was living in a country that didn't accept PayPal, I would look at other options like Payza. I will say, that every review I've researched regarding Payza were excellent. So basically to sum things up, they're both two good online money transaction websites. It really just comes down to preference and what works best for your needs.

It's Paypal

I have used both Paypal and Payza, but I choose Paypal because it has wider acceptance than Payza. Most times when you are to pay or be paid online, Paypal is the option you see not Payza.

For me there is no doubt that Paypal is the best option for payments and receipts online. I have never tested Payza, but I have heard that they currently do not allow the transfer of money to the bank account, and this is simply frustrating for me. Payza's fees are also higher than Paypal's, so this is no advantage either.

I use both but with me working as a freelancer I would have to that Paypal is the most widely used payment method on the net and the best choice for anyone into doing online business.

I particularly prefer PayPal, I have been using it for some years and I have never had problems. I like PayPal because it is accepted in several places since the Payza does not, in addition, in Payza there is a minimum amount to withdraw into bank account, already in Paypal this does not have. I would not trade PayPal for another payment method, I am satisfied with it and intend to use it for many years.

Paypal is the best

I have always used PayPal and I don't think that there is a better payment processor than PayPal. The staffs are also very effective and have solved a particular problem that I had in a timely manner. I know that my account is safe with PayPal. There are very few chances for any PayPal account to be hacked nowadays. I can easily transfer money from PayPal to my credit cards and bank account.

Best payment gateway

I have withdrawn money to my bank account, and Paypal didnt charge me a lot.I think 2.50 euros and 3-5% for each transaction. I had no problems through the verification part, even though many said PayPal is a scam.Friends are using Skrill too,so I recommend it as a PayPal alternative. Payza,in opposite, has bigger fees-at least for me.

Best above all

PayPal is the best there is when it comes to handling online transactions, either in buying commodities or receiving payments or even sending money, PayPal is way too better than any other platform.

I have used PayPal several times in carrying out my business dealings and it has never failed me one bit in giving me the best service for my money. Recently, I used PayPal to make a transaction of $200 and it's went just fine with no stress. I love PayPal better than any other online transactions site.

Posted by Heatman on 09-24-2017

I love using my PayPal account for all the transactions that I made and to also receive my payment for my online jobs. PayPay is very fast and secure so you don't need to worry that you might lose your money for some reason on someone tried to hack your account. I haven't tried Payza and since most of my transactions online don't recognize or have this as an option for payment, I will definitely won't use Payza for my online transaction.
Posted by ColdFlameChris on 12-05-2017

PayPal is better

If I should equate all the online payment processor that I have used ever since I became a freelancer, I would say that PayPal takes up to 80% of all transactions that I have carried out and I'm 95% satisfied with the services of the payment processor.
Posted by Martinsx on 10-04-2018

I choose Paypal. I have opened a PayPal account. I don't know anything about payza.
Posted by menchuuy58 on 12-13-2018

Originally named AlertPay, Payza is an online money transfer platform that allows making online transactions with Payza balance or with a linked credit card.

The concept is very similar to Paypal and Payza is indeed considered a PayPal alternative by most people.

Payza is very popular in India and Bangladesh especially among the freelance community who use it as a PayPal alternative do to PayPal's higher money transfer fees.

  • Payza doesn't tax people for sending money, although fees will be applied when you do receive money. This will vary depending on your location or country.
  • Overall Payza is very secure, just like PayPal.
  • There is no restriction of sending or receiving money from certain countries. This is a great news for people sick and tired of PayPal's restrictions.

  • Chargebacks from clients and buyers may get you in trouble as Payza might close your account because of this.
  • Payza is hugely popular in developing countries like India and other neighboring countries. If you don't live in such locations chances are PayPal is still you best choice.

Paypal would have been my first choice but in Malawi, where I'm doing business, they won't let you withdraw money unless you have a US based account and, in this part of the world, we know just how difficult that can be.

Payza let's you do that without any hassles. So Pazya it is in my books...until Paypal catches up.

Paypal is not allowed in my

Paypal is not allowed in my country so I have to use payza, I hate the restrictions of paypal,so i prefer payza. It is equally safe as paypal and I could manage my things using that even it is not good than paypal.
Posted by achi007 on 04-11-2017

Paypal is the best option, if your pay rate is increased by a site, PayPal will automatically take note.
Posted by Jeshurun on 12-29-2016
I've been using PayPal for a few months already and I haven't had any issues with it so far and I hope I won't. I've heard of some people getting their accounts limited and it can be really annoying to try to unlock them which it can be a major con. Never heard of Payza before but I might check it to have a "just in case" option.
Posted by reginafalange on 07-21-2017
I use payza and paypal, paypal more than payza. One of the reasons why I use payza less is because there are few companies that use payza. Paypal has limited functionality on my home country. I cannot withdraw paypal funds on my bank account. However, payza sends fund directly on my local bank account. Payza fees are higer though, however, it is better than not being able to withdraw in your bank.

I'm using Paypal and I know it a very secure means of receiving and sending money and it transaction fees is quite minimal. The company helps clamp down on fraudsters and hinder fraudulent really a great payment processor for online purchases it can help a buyer get back at a fraudulent seller in either cash back or safe and secured.

So far, Paypal is my only experience with money transfer system. It’s very convenient for me because I can send money and receive money without paying a fee. However, it’s not easy to have a Paypal account because you need to have a credit card that you will connect with your Paypal account. Maybe it is their way of identifying you and verifying your identity at the same time. So if anything happens, Paypal can charge your credit card.
Posted by Corzhens on 01-24-2018
For me, Paypal services is definitely better as it is accepted on most websites. In addition, Paypal allows withdrawals to my bank account in my country, since Payza does not provide this option. So, no doubt Paypal is my best choice.
Posted by hermessantos on 01-31-2018
Contrarily, payza allows local bank withdrawal, whereas PayPal does not allow local bank withdrawal in my home country. The only drawback of payza is it is not used by my clients or the sites where I make money. Another problem with payza is I have found no metchant that accepts payza.
Posted by vinaya on 01-31-2018
THe payza online money concept is better than paypal since they dont restrict others from other countries from using it and you can send and receive money easily without paying high transaction fee, i think payza is for the masses and those that are being looked down upon from paypal, so payza is the best for me.
Posted by babyright on 02-06-2018
Yes,I think PayPal would have fared better if it accepts all countries. I don't why they should punished the whole country because of misconduct by few people of the banned country. I'm really yet to understand the Payza sign up when I'm acquainted with it,I will have to switch.
Posted by lovely on 09-21-2018
Well Honestly, I don't have an account in payza, I used paypal since I learned how to earn online, and it's gonna be 5 to 6 years ago, and I'm already satisfied with paypal, no need to open an account to other site, but I think I need more research about this. If the transaction fees in payza is much more cheaper, well I will definitely transfer to that site. but so far, I don't have any problem with this paypal, I can withdraw my money directly to my local bank account without any problem without verify actually, well that was before, and some of the online site that you can could earn money required to have this Paypal account.

I choose PayPal. It is what I use in many of my transactions. It is easy. I like it very much.
