Ria Money Transfer and Western Union ; What's your Experience
Ria Money Transfer and Western Union are both financial platforms that enables one to send and receive money in all parts of the world. I have been using only Western Union services for a while to handle all my transaction until recently, I started having difficulty in having my financial transactions getting approved and posted across.

Then I got introduced to Ria Money Transfer, but to my greatest surprise, Ria services to send money is still limit to only 3 countries, United States of America, Australia and Spain. This really left me in a numb situation, because I was hoping to have had my Western Union issues solved using Ria but now it's not going to work.

What is your experience in using both of these platforms?

To be honest this is the first time that I am hearing about Ria Money Transfer. I was previously using Western Union to transfer money overseas and I really had no issues with them. In fact they provided a good service. Nowadays I use Moneygram to transfer my funds to other countries. This service is provided by my bank itself and it is more convenient for me to use it.

Personally, I have known Western Union and Moneygram for a while but not Ria Money Transfer until I started having issues with the services of Western Union as they made it a point of duty to frustrate my financial transactions. They kept refusing to approve my cash send and post with the reason that they suspect fruad even when I contacted support telling them it's not fruad, they still refused to confirm it. It's was while I was in the bank that I came to hear about Ria Money Transfer when someone came and used it to receive money sent to her.

Like Pixie, I have never actually heard of Ria Money Transfer and I doubt I would even bother trying to find out more about them after reading your post. The fact that it is still limited to three countries is a massive problem and I'm surprised that people even bother to use it unless they are in those countries. There are better alternatives like Western Union that are great. Did Western Union bother to tell you why your transactions were not getting approved and posted across? It might just be an issue with the information you provided.

Well, all the information that I provided was accurate and up-to-date but they kept telling me that they suspect element of fruad in my transactions even when I called and spoke with support for over 30 minutes, they still refused to be approving my transaction. I had to look for other means to send and receive money across other countries.

I think the popularity of the Western Union as a means of payment and sending money in different countries of the world made them the perfect choice. Quick unfortunate for RIA money transfer only limited in three countries for it will exclude some citizens of different countries from using them.

Well, I think that Ria Money Transfer would be great. They just need little more time and I'm sure they will knock off western union money transfer from their spot because they felt they don't have any competition, so they behave like they feel.

I have already subscribe to Ria Money Transfer and they keep getting me updated on their services and sooner than later they will increase their services and expand to other countries in the world.

I believe that Western Union is quite famous because of the rates that they provid and secondly it's available almost in 130+ countries. Well if you are in hurry then Xoom is also good.

Xoom? I haven't heard of it before, although I have sorted out my issue about western union money transfer trouble but no knowledge is a waste, so therefore, I would definitely be looking it up and see how their services are.

I'm just knowing about Rai money transfer never heard about it but for western union have used it a couple of times and the transactions was very smooth though the fees was a bit on the high side but now I resort to using third parties, the exchangers. I just fund their account and the pay the person in the local currencies.

Exchangers charges are higher compared to the rate charged by Western Union. I have used both of them, the only thing that you would say about using exchanger is that you would be in the comfort of your homes and having the money paid into your bank, without going through the stress of visiting the bank to process your payment using the western union money transfer.

I think it is better to use western money transfer than using Ria since the money payment service is ment for only 3 countries to avoid any delay of your money.
Posted by babyright on 10-20-2017
Yes, definitely it does seems better to use western union money transfer now as a result of the limitations of Ria Money Transfer reach, but with time should Ria expand its global coverage, I would definitely be dumping western union money transfer for Ria Money Transfer.

I have never used not even heard of Ria Money Transfer. However, I use the Western Union. Whenever I want to send funds or receive funds, my preferred money transfer system is always Western Union. Since Ria Money Transfer is limited to few countries, I may never use it.

Well, I'm glad that you got to know about Ria Money Transfer today. It's actually nice to be learning quite a few things on a daily basis. It's absolutely correct that Ria Money Transfer reach is just in 3 countries now, but definitely they are going to expand and once they do, they are definitely going to cut off western union money transfer customers by a great number. Personally, I'm one of the people that would switch to Ria Money Transfer with immediate effect.

We don't have the RIA money transfer in my region. But we do have the western union. And we have the system offer here that offers the transfer quickly. So I like this sort of the service. As you can see for the currency exchange that can be a good option. Also the amount of the people who get into the western union are more with the system these days. I surely hope to get into the Ria if it comes in.

Western Union money transfer has been around for more longer than Ria Money Transfer, that is more reasons enough for it to have wider coverage than Ria Money Transfer. In totality, what Ria Money Transfer is going to bring up to Western Union money transfer is competition and this is definitely going to make them seat up and improve on its services.

I haven't used either of these. I don't use money transfers and I don't know much about them honestly. I can't think of an occassion where I have needed to use these. I just rely on checks. PayPal or in a rare situation something like a money order. This is my experience.

We have been using Western Union for sending money locally. By some of my relatives in America sends money to our relatives here via Western Union. All of us users of Western Union are satisfied with the reliability. And Western Union is all over the metro. In almost all malls, there is a Western Union serving the public. So how can we be wrong? And when Google sends me my earnings from Adsense, I get a notice from the email that I can get the payment from Western Union. It’s a great remittance center.

I've never used Ria Money Transfer. I 've also never heard of it. On those grounds I would dismiss it. Western Union on the other hand is a dream to use especially when you really need the money. I remember when I was in school my parents used to send me money, through it. I remember the diffrence when I was waiting for the money through my account. Western union is quite fast it's practically instantaneous. The only disadvantage is that it costs quite a lot of money.

Ria money transfer is one of major international financial platforms that helps people to send and receive money from other parts of the world just like Western Union Money Transfer. It's being approved by almost all the banks in Nigeria, the only problem with Ria money transfer is that it's not supported by all countries to send money across to other countries but generally, it's a good money transfer site.

Although Ria is a well known service provider in terms of money transfer, i have never availed their services. I always used Western Union just because their service centers are the ones closest to my home. Also their establishments are very comfortable and convenient.

Western Union services most countries, it's like PayPal but more on physical Remittances. I use Western Union several times a year to receive money from relatives living in other countries. It's very safe and efficient. They also have a reward system where you get points which you can use, redeem or send as cash. I don't know what RIA is.
