Cristiano Ronaldo is the Portuguese player that has some lots of football over the years. He began his career at Sporting Lisbon, a native club in his and later played for Manchester United before going to become the top goal scorer in Real Madrid in recent time.

  1. Focus on scoring.
  2. Lifts his team up.
  3. Can make any sacrifice to win a game.

  1. Gets upset when losing
  2. People claims that he is stubborn.

I love them both and I will never say no to either of the players if they came to my club, Chelsea FC. But if I had to choose then I would go with Ronaldo because you know that even when he has a bad game, he will turn up and save the day with his goals.

The best

I think that Ronaldo has proven himself that he's way better than Messi. Just look at the latest results and you will see what a big difference there is. It's not only the way he plays but also how he dribbles, his technique, speed, etc. there's currently no other player on his level. He's the best.

Ronalado is much more interesting of a character than Messi. I can see why people like both of these players, but there is one who is the best. This season Messi hasn't been doing too good, especially in the World Cup. I don't even support Ronaldo, but between these two choices, I've made mine.

Ronaldo is better

Ronaldo known as one of the best football player in the world. He is such a perfect player for this sport. I would say that Ronaldo has more mature and strategy when it comes to play.

Cristiano Ronaldo

It is hard to choose between the two of them because they are both great players. They have their own strength and weaknesses. But if it comes down to this I would choose Cristiano Ronaldo because he is the reason why I'm into football. I watched him play and I fell in love with the sport.

Ronaldo and Messi have reigned in the world of football for overtime now and I must say that it is not easy for both of them to do it for a longer period of time. What is necessary is that Ronaldo has done things out of pure determination that he can make things happen and this is nice as we have noticed that he is still pushing harder which is one of the reasons that he went to the Italian league to play for Juve at the moment.

Only Girl in the Family

I am the only girl in the family aside from my Mom. As a young girl who has three older brothers who loves to watch football, who constantly talks about football and always play football, I was influenced that the love for football is a normal thing. My brothers are always in chaos when they get to see Ronaldo score a point or make a good steal. I learned to appreciate Ronald mainly because of my brothers.

I vote for Ronaldo. He is good in playing football. I love football too.

Momentum booster

A player that can boost the momentum of a game is needed in order to stablize a great team. It is just a luck that at the same time he is skilled in playing at football. Of course anyone who gave up anything will be upset if they don't get their desired result. Sportmanship isn't all about accepting defeat but also learnibg into the mistakes and this olayer embodies that kind of persona. A lot of people is judgemental propabbly because they envy the success of the player.

I actually think both players are really great. Comparing them would be hard, as they have their remarkable strengths. But, I'll go with Ronaldo, just because I love him. The totality of him is what I love. ????

I have always loved this guy since I was young. His football skills are far above those of Messi, although I also respect Messi because he is not a bully like Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is the reason why I started to play football in the first place. I respect Messi but watching the story on how Ronaldo was able to become such a great and successful person really touched me and even wanted me to become like him. He does get all the fame and fortune and attention but in the end he stays humble and true to his self and to his family which is a great portray of a role model to me. Having him as my idolization really makes me proud that I enjoy and love playing the sport I do everyday. One day if I do face the guy personally I would not call him my idol anymore but will start to call him my competitor.

Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi
The excellent player has been playing at Barcelona club for all his whole life. Messi is one player that people love to watch because of his dribbling skills and the thing is that he can score lots of games as well scoring huge amounts of goal.He is a great player that I respect so much as well.

  1. He is a playmaker
  2. He always completes more dribbles.
  3. A team player.

  1. Can really move off in matches.
  2. He get discouraged often during a game.
  3. Has been playing badly of recent.

Lionel is the lion

Messi in his youth moves better and quicker than ronaldo. Although he is much shorter, he proves to be a better athlete and a skillful football player.

Lionel Messi

I respect both players. They have different styles of play, but they both achieve the similar results. My vote goes to Messi because Lionel is on a level all on his own. No hate please, but for me, he's the king at beating keepers at the near post, a better direct kicker, and has a better goal ratio. Statistically, he is putting up numbers that are surpassing Christiano. Peace!

well, I'd go for Messi

I find it hard to choose between the two. Both of the players were great. They both play powerful teams and they both have made big names for their games. I've almost gone for Ronaldo, but man, Messi's dribbling is really awesome!
Posted by emiaj55 on 10-18-2018

Do you like Messi?

I think he has better personality than Ronaldo. Ronaldo seems to have been a sore loser. Messi seems to okay.
Posted by thejoyrevolution on 10-27-2018

Leo it is

When Ronaldo gets to shoot an advertisement with Kobe Bryant, or even LeBron James for that matter, I'll switch sides. Messi is just so charming off the field and pposite a great-looking athlete like Kobe in this commercial, he held his own. Messi is #1, because if it was Ronaldo, Kobe would have had that gig with him instead of Leo.

I like them both. I can't just pick one. They both good player and they are both popular. They really helped a lot to their respective teams. I also admire them by being good to their fans. I recently watched a video of Cristiano Ronaldo being cool and approachable to his fans.

I agree with you. They are both great players of their teams. I admire both of them, but Ronaldo is someone whom I really love because of whatever he does, I just love his character.
Posted by theresajane on 11-11-2018
Two great football giants I must admit. I don't think you can call one greater then the other especially now. Do these two even get on I don't think they do, probably because they both think that they are great. I also can't compare the two I think they are both great. I think Messi has a bad temper, I think that when his team is loosing he starts sulking and he starts to play a very rough game, more so then Ronaldo. There is a saying in my Country that he who does not accept defeat is a not a winner, I would apply it to these two.
Posted by jaymish on 08-11-2018
I choose Ronaldo. He is good in playing soccer. He lets his team win most of the time.
Posted by jeffreyjose48 on 09-22-2018
Please, do not get me wrong but these are the two GREATEST EVER footballers. However, Ronaldo seems to get the ball 1v1 with someone and do a step over and pass it back without even beating his man. It’s just not that spectacular. With Messi, every single time goes round one, two, three players before he pops it off to a teammate and he moves his team up the pitch every time he gets it. Ronaldo is the king of scoring goals, but football is played as "the beautiful game," and no one plays as beautiful football as Messi. He dances around the pitch like no one else, and it’s just magical. IMHO, Messi is just better to watch compared to Ronaldo.?
Posted by NerdIndeed on 10-06-2018
Since his beginning days, Ronaldo had played chiefly through the left, for the most part in the wing and now and again through focus, according to the groups necessity. Then again, Messi had fundamentally played as an inside forward all through his profession, and even through the conservative and focal assaulting midfield now and again. So Messi had all the more a finisher job and Ronaldo a maker job.

This is what really what's good in a game, they have team work and sacrifices just to win at the end. They never think as an individual to get the score for theirselves but for a ta to benefit it. They never let their guard down from their enemies/other team, make sure they are always alert to everything might happen in a game. And I see that this what Ronaldo do for his team so I choose him for that.
Posted by romy_ter on 10-12-2018
They are both great and remarkable players of their teams. It's very hard to choose. But, I'll go with Ronaldo. I just love everything about him. His vibe, his character, everything.
Posted by theresajane on 11-11-2018
I think it is a very difficult choice to make because both the players are very excellent in their games. Both of them are also very professional both on and off the field. However, if I have to choose only one amongst them, then I will definitely choose Messi over Ronaldo. I think that Messi is more good-looking than Ronaldo and seems more relaxed and chilled out than Ronaldo.
Posted by jpk0007 on 11-15-2018
I remember when a player was judged on what he won with his country and everyone downplayed Ronaldo because they thought messi was more likely to win a World Cup or euros. He didn’t and Ronaldo did. So it’s Ronaldo.
Posted by Caguioa747 on 12-13-2018
I think Messi is a slightly better footballer:

  • Messi is the top goalscorer in all competitions this week, with 45 goals scored.
  • Ronaldo is the second top goalscorer, after Messi, with 41 goals scored.
  • Messi has contributed to 62 goals across all competitions this season.
  • Ronaldo has been involved in 52 goals so far this season.
As you can see from these stats, both players are still doing incredibly well this season! However, I think Messi is doing better and has done better, on average, throughout his career.
