Salt

Nowadays, I avoid sugar because I want to reduce my sugar intake. Our family has a history of Diabetes and thinking about it, I'm not young anymore, I have to observe what I eat. But, I still can't live without anoinch of salt on the food that I cook. It would be so bland and unsatisfying to eat food with no salt.

Salt!

Sugar is wonderful, but there are so many substitutes to it, not to mention it's incredibly unhealthy.

Granted, sodium is not best for you, but nearly every dish can be improved with a dash of salt. In fact, even in desserts it can add that little 'je ne sais quoi'.

Use it more.

While salt goes in to food more,I usually put sugar in my drinks and sweets because I simply love when something is sweet.Yes it can cause diabetes but you can never have enough sugar.

Sugar

Sugar, because I like sweet food better than salty ones. However, it's important to keep in mind that too much sugar keeps us at risk for Diabetes, while too much salt keeps us at risk for Hypertension, both of which are chronic lifestyle diseases which lead to harmful complications.

Sugaaaaaaaaaaaaaar

Sugar, spice, and everything nice. Sugar may be sweet and can cause diabetes when excessively taken. I would still choose it for it creates a wonderful taste that you could even eat it without anything. Additionally, I have a sweet tooth so sugar is the one for me.

Sugar

I can't imagine life without sugar. Imagine soft drinks without sugar that would taste bad and people will not buy it for sure. also imagine desserts without sugar or even try drinking milk without sugar, it's really an unpleasant thing. Sugar for me is necessary for everyday life.

Sweet tooth!

I can say both are important and every day we see and use this two-ingredients. We yous salt to enhance the flavor of our dishes it is also present in all other foods like bread and stuff. While sugar has also a lot of use especially enhancing the sweetness of our foods. I choose sugar simply because I love sweet things.

I will choose both as this 2 ingredients are important when you have to cook something. They have different taste but they are important in different ways and aspects. Sugar is good when you have to create a dessert or even side dishes and also salt. Without this two, food can be dull.

While sugar does have the ability to add a lot of flavor to many recipes (especially desserts, obviously) I’d say it’s the less necessary of the two.

Salt is important for many more reasons than sugar. For one thing, savory foods are generally more important and healthier for your body than desserts. Desserts are basically there as a treat and aren’t necessary. On the other hand, the main meals that we eat every day—which contain all the important vitamins and minerals to keep us going—are the ones that require salt in order to taste, well, edible.

Not to mention that sodium is absolutely necessary for our bodies to function properly, while sugar is not.

Sugar vs Salt: Iwill give my vote in both condiments. This two is important in our living and both have a different benefits to us but has a same reason to be dangerous in health and it is in our Hand as a human the word "too much". we don't have to choose between the two because what ever we choose if we use it in a wrong way or too much use of it, it will result a damage at all

For me. I would choose Salt. Because it’s a natural electrolyte your body NEEDS. Whereas sugar is pretty much all around bad for you in every way. Plus I feel like salt is used more overall in food. while Sugar It tastes better, But then I would get diabetes

I love sugar but it doesn't mean that I don't like salt because without salt how can our foods taste? I mean almost all of the foods I eat everyday has salt in it, it gives taste to the food with it and that's something that's necessary in order to enjoy the foods we eat.

I like salt but I just like sugar even more. Sugar and salt are actually condiments that we use daily and is a need but I prefer sugar because you wouldn't enjoy any salt without adding it to any dishes. Sugar, on the other hand, can still be eaten and maybe also because I have a sweet tooth that makes me prefer it more.

I need both. But, as of now, I have to avoid sugar. I am at risk because of my family's history of Diabetes. So, I should be careful.

I love salt in dishes and sugar in desserts. It is really hard to choose from the two because they have a completely different taste. After eating a lot of food with sugar, I would go for salty foods just to be able to eat sweet foods gain and vice versa. They are more of neutralizers for me to be able to eat more amounts of each.
