Samsung galaxy s8 edge

Samsung galaxy s8 edge
Samsung Galaxy S8 has a significant competitor with the OnePlus 5. A Samsung Galaxy can cost $200 or more than a OnePlus5, and for some people when comparing the features of these smartphones, it is better to go $200 less and buy the OnePlus5. The Galaxy scores a bit better on appearance, and some of the features such as it being water resistant at greater depths. It comes with a screen that runs from one edge to another, making its display seem much larger, even though it is narrower as well as smaller than the Oneplus5 phone. That said, S8’s glossy back is no match for OnePlus 5’s metallic back. There is a variant of Galaxy 8 which does not have the Snapdragon 835 chipset. Instead, Samsung has used Exynos in it. Galaxy 8 is known to be an energy guzzler, but it does have the benefit of the wireless charging feature.

Large screen from edge to edge Wireless charging feature Water resistant

More expensive Drains battery life quite quickly Brand is well known but suffered bad reputation lately

I'm a Samsung person so I will always prefer Samsung phones. I don't mind paying the slightly more expensive price because you know that you will get a good quality phone from Samsung. The Galaxy S8 Edge looks beautiful as well and I'm not a huge fan of the OnePlus 5. I really like the wireless charging feature as well which is just great

No longer has bad rep

Don't know what you're smoking OP but Samsung no longer has bad reputation. They have redeemed themselves and have bounced back quite admirably. They're even providing tons of screens for Apple, so not too shabby right?

Anyways in my previous post, I have said that I would generally go for cheaper phones. But I'm not very familiar with OnePlus. It doesnt come close to the looks of the S8 edge. The One Plus looks so dated if placed side by side with the edge.

Aside from the superb looks of the S8 edge, it also has different features that every tech person would like to have.

Samsung galaxy s8 edge

Few smartphone launches have made so much noise in the press and technology market as the Galaxy S8, Samsung's newest top of the line. This is Korea's first major

announcement after the failure of the Galaxy Note 7 last year, and, as expected, generated much expectation and even a certain mistrust.

The fact is that the S8 is already on sale in many countries and, contrary to pessimists, it does not explode spontaneously (or at least not generically, as it was

with Note 7). But other features of the device caught the attention, starting with its unprecedented design.

S8 Edge

I have checked the configuration of the phone. And I find it lot better than other phones. Also the amount of people getting good service from the Samsung is not bad. It's just that some cases where the oneplus may fit in more. As it has the different ROM. We just have to work with different set of the UI and other set of changes.

Samsung galaxy s8 edge

I am not surprised why most individuals here have voted for the Samsung galaxy s8 edge since this phone is the best on the market at this time. Many prefer this phone against all the others even the iPhone because it has quality and a lot of benefits!

If you have the means, I always recommend Samsung phones. This company has built a deserved reputation for having very solidly constructed devices. When it comes to an oft' abused product like cell phones, you don't want to cheap out on construction if you can help it. We drop them, sometimes they get wet, we abuse the screen when we game, we shove them in pockets and purses where they tend to get flexed. Cheaper devices kick the bucket fast under these conditions. I'm a believer in making due with less wherever possible, but in some areas, you don't cheap out if you have the ability to buy better. This is one of them.

Galaxy s8

In my point of view there is no way to compare because Samsung galaxy s8 edge is infinitely better in every way possible. The whole process of planning / development / end result is something to cause envy in the eyes of any competition.

Edge is good but Mix2 is great

Samsung galaxy s8 edge is one of the best android phone in the market with lots of features which even iphone does not have. If you have the money then go for S8 otherwise go for Xiomi MIX2 which is the best looking phone right now.

No argument required

I think that anyone who knows about phone companies and the qualities that they offer to its customers, would have no competition or stress in jumping at Samsung galaxy s8 edge without thinking twice or having a second thought. Personally, I'm of the belief that Samsung is the best phone company when it comes to Android phone products. They offer the best quality in the entire phone market.

Although, there are other good phone companies out there that do quite well in their own products such as Tecno, weko, Motorola, infinix, etc. But all of them doesn't get anywhere near the quality of what Samsung is offering its customers.

I think it's only apple iPhone and it's producing company that can rival Samsung in phone quality and grade. Only that Apple products are very expensive compared to Samsung android phone products like Samsung galaxy s8 edge.

Avid Fan!

I love all the Samsung products especially the Galaxy! I love how Samsung dominates the Smartphone industry. They even beat the iPhone. I've seen some reviews/videos of Oneplus but none of them can really dominate the Samsung Galaxy. I love the design of the S8 edge. It's so vivid and vibrant. The pictures are more lively and the resolution is so big. I also love about its water-resistant features because I want my phone to also be part on any kinds of water activities that I do. Nothing can beat Samsung when it comes to Smartphones.

Oneplus 5

Oneplus 5
The OnePlus 5 can do almost everything that a Samsung Galaxy 8 can if you go over its features. It is also cheaper because there are a few compromises like restricted water resistance, and the metallic casing at the back, that do not give it the sleek appearance of its counterpart. It is also larger and this may make some buyers avoid it as it may feel a bit bulky in the hand. Its operating system seems to be cleaner and there are fewer customizable options. Battery life consumption is lower as well. That said, Galaxy 8 is not perfect as yet. OnePlus 5 is cheaper and it has some great features for its price, which is very competitive when compared to other smartphones on the market.

Cheaper Has several good features OnePlus has done well on the market and the brand has become quite reputable

Is a bit bulky Not that sleek

If it's cheaper I want it!

I must confess I have not heard of the Oneplus, but if it can do everything the Samsumg 8 can do I am all for it. Most of these high end cellphones are way over priced in my opinion.

I'm not a fan of Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge because my wife is using one and it just looks good but she always has her power bank and charger ready because It has a short battery life whenever she's online. The Oneplus5 on the other hand is quite powerful and it has a bigger screen, it's also cheaper. I'll definitely pick Oneplus5 because of its wireless charging feature, it's value for money.

Samsung galaxy s8 it is for me,though it quite pricey but I think it worth the money. The features are just okay for s good phone. It is dust and water resistant, it is wireless charging, love the camera quality and it efficacy, the glossy back is an added advantage and the screen is a lot better than oneplus. Will rather acquire Samsung galaxy despite the price involve.

My phone is also a Samsung Galaxy although an older model. I agree that Samsung is a great brand which is not very expensive like the iPhone. What I liked in Samsung is the great graphics and also the camera which can be used to create videos that are high definition. I have discovered lately that Samsung is easy to repair based on the statement of a repair shop owner near our office. And that is a big plus.

I prefer Samsung S8 ever since I love using Samsung mobile because it is friendly user and affordable than I phone. It has also good features and good reputation in market. Samsung company it best in android phone producer. The phones look amazing and they are sleek all around. One of the most important things is the camera, and Samsung has every reason to boast with the one on S8 good quality. S8 boasts of a display which is unique in its own way. The company is calling is ‘Infinity Display’ and it is the best display you can get on a Smartphone.

I have always been buying Samsung products and never really had any problems and I am brand conscious. So it is out of question for me to switch to other brands. Samsung Galaxy S8 is definitely superior. The specifications are much better. The wireless charging is something that I totally love. There are many other Samsung phones which are better than the Oneplus 5.

I didn't vote on this one because both smartphones are pretty expensive and something I won't buy in the near future. I honestly never buy high end smartphones because of their prices. But if I had the money and I could choose between these two, I'll probably pick the Samsung galaxy S8 edge because I've always loved Samsung phones and I think they're much better than what you could find out there. I also remember reading somewhere that one plus phones tend to get laggy.

I would have to go for Samsung galaxy s8 not necessarily because Oneplus 5 is that a bad phone, but as a result of the fact that most of the Samsung products that I have used have served me well. So, I remain hopeful that using this will bring better things as well.

I used to be a Samsung fan and I always wanted to buy Samsung smartphones but, thank God, I couldn't buy any of their mobile phones because those phones die after a while. Some relatives and friends of mine have bought Samsung smartphones and, after a while, those phones die without reason, it just stops working. People say Samsung phones are like a time bomb but they don't explode, just die. I don't trust Samsung and I don't know how Oneplus brand is so, that's the reason I don't vote for any of them.

I have always used samsung phones, however, my samsung phones were moderately priced handsets. I have never used expensive phones. I have never used Oneplus 5, and I have also never used samsung S8, therefore, I don't know how these products compares. samsung is not just a phone, it is a brand. The brand is also an important factor for me even though I have never used flagship phones.

Even if that Samsung galaxy costs more than $200 than Oneplus, I would still buy that Samsung provided that I have the budget for it. The quality of the phone is more important to me hence the cost is not an object. My experience with Samsung is great and I am using my 2nd Samsung because my first one is an S3 which I gave to my husband. My present phone is a Samsung J7 and I’d say it’s giving me a pretty good service.

I bought a Galaxy S8 in Vivo as part of a "family plan" and this made the device quite attractive. It then became my second Samsung smartphone, the first being a Galaxy Pro I used in my college years between 2010 and 2013. If you knew this device, I do not need to tell you that my experience with it was horrible. Performance was poor, and most apps did not fit the screen format. I dropped the Pro for a Sony Xperia some time later.
