The Joys of Easter. Eggs or Bunnies?

The Joys of Easter. Eggs or Bunnies?
Easter is a sacred holy day for many. But for many of those same people, it is also a happy holiday. Both children and adults love one particular tradition associated with the Easter holiday. Do you know what that is? Chocolate Easter Eggs and Chocolate Bunny Rabbits! YUM!

Were we to take a vote, I'd say the egg lovers outnumber the bunny lovers.

Chocolate Easter Eggs are my favorite.

Which is your favorite?

Egg lovers to the left. (Agree with me.)

Bunny lovers to the right. (Disagree with me.)

Eggs, It Has To Be Eggs!

Eggs are what it is all about. A time of rebirth and renewal. This is the symbolism of the egg at Easter. To join with Jesus in his resurrection. Bunnies are not really anything to do with Easter other than, we see a lot of animals breeding in spring. I'm not sure why we have chocolate at Easter but for what Easter symbolises, I would have to go with the egg.

Says it all.

The joy of Easter is always complete with the Easter eggs as that is a way to show that Christ is here with us. It is a symbol that should represent fruitfulness as eggs are a sign that a mother is ready to procreate. So, we always go for the Easter eggs during the period since it is special to us.

Easter Eggs

Eggs are the iconic Easter giveaway so I have to go with it, specially if it's a 7.7oz, premium chocolate Easter Egg. Kids live Easter Eggs more than Chocolate bunnies also the eggs has festive boxes which are great for gift giving.

Bunnies

I love them both but I always go for a chocolate bunny because they always just taste much better than the easter eggs especially if you buy a proper branded easter bunny. The problem with easter eggs is that they are just made cheaply and don't taste as good as some proper easter bunnies from Lindt.

Bunnies

I have to go with the bunnies. I do love eggs as well but most of them have too much chocolate for my taste so it's a bit too sweet with the cocoa fillings in the middle and so on.

The bunnies usually have a more plain chocolate and are empty on the inside, those are the most delicious. Plus they look cooler than just the eggs!

Bunniessssss

Hey, who will love egg if its being comparison with a rabbit?! Rabbits are so adorable and cute. I have one and always makes my stress away just seeing it playing. So I will go for a chocolate bunny. Looks funny but entertaining. Better than a boring egg.

Much more popular

Growing up from a country who doesn't celebrate Easter holiday, the one thing that makes me think about Easter holiday are Bunnies because they are the most popular symbol for Easter holiday here where I live. Also they are very cute and charming, although they're a bit dangerous.

Cuteness overload for Bunnies

I like both, but I have to go with bunnies, just for the cuteness of them. I think they are very represenatative of Easter not like eggs which can be available all year long. Bunnies and chicks are the candies that seem to best represent Easter.

Eggs are the best way that we can get to enjoy the period of Easter. There are many ways that we can enjoy eggs during this time, but one of the best ways that I've come to enjoy is when the stew is made with eggs being used and also when my fiance makes the noddles with eggs being added. I am such a person that enjoys taking eggs on normal days not to talk of when I know that I will have a good time eating eggs as well which is the time of Easter.

Although I like both of these, I think that I will have to go with the eggs! I like "real" boiled eggs, with salt and pepper, and I like chocolate eggs as well, and there are plenty of both of these items always around during every Easter! I am not so sure how good these items are for me, but I think that almost everything is good as long as it is done in moderation! Also, if you like egg salad sandwiches, that is a way to utilize all of the leftover eggs after Easter so that you do not waste such a great source of protein.

I am a Hindu and I don't celebrate Easter. I know about Christmas because this is the most popular Christain tradition, however, I know nothing about Easter except the easter imageries like bunny and eggs. I also hear that easter originated from pagan culture.

To be honest, we just borrowed those Easter activities from the west. Our Easter is usually a solemn day although we have a feast on the table. But still, it is a religious event for procession and going to church. But when I was an adult, the Easter egg hunt had been getting popular and now I can say that we have the Easter egg hunt now as one of our traditions. But the Easter bunny is unknown to us though.

Well,in my country, we don't do anything pertaining to Easter eggs or Bunny but more on our local cuisines, I read about this egg tradition online but if I still to choose it will be the Easter eggs since I love eggs though.

Both are pretty fun in their own way. The plastic eggs with fun stuff in them are a great past time for hunts. The boiled eggs are tons of fun too, I remember a small Polish community that would do amazingly beautiful designs on the shells that it was such a shame to eat the hardboiled eggs. Bunnies aren't as fun being chocolate but are great as a stuffed toy in a basket kind of thing.

This voting is so easy. Funny that they compared an egg into a rabbit. They were same easter's symbol but they have far way differences. I prefer having a chocolate bunny rather than an egg. This makes me laugh really hard. :)

Why do you have to make me choose?! This brings back fond memories of my childhood, when I would wake up to an Easter basket filled with all sorts of delicious goodies. Even as a kid I didn't know which one to dig in to first. If I really had to make the choice I would probably go with the eggs. Easter bunnies are fun to eat, but they're typically hollow with relatively poorer quality chocolate, usually anyway. Chocolate eggs on the other hand are usually made with higher quality chocolate and often have a delicious filling.

The Easter eggs will also be a nice way to celebrate Easter without spending much money like when you buy chicken to prepare it for Easter.

I like Easter eggs. They're cute and chewy. I like the gooey center filling. It has many flavors from caramel to vanilla. Easter bunny chocolate is mostly for the fun design and relatively plain flavor.

Actually I really don't know about the Easter Eggs and Bunnies. When it comes to the image or appearance of the product, I would rather choose the egg one. Actually I like eggs and it is much easier to eat eggs than the one with rabbit shape and I love vanilla flavor so I would choose the egg one.

The OP is asking us to choose between Easter eggs chocolate and Easter bunnies chocolate. I go for the Easter eggs because its shape is a natural chocolate shape that I can eat easily while the rabbit-shaped chocolate makes me think twice about eating it. Rabbits are just too cute to be eaten. That's just me, of course. I noticed that they are both milk chocolate flavors so they probably taste the same.

Actually me too never had the idea what are the bunnies and eggs for. But there's this one time at my cousins party, we were there to visit my auntie then they done the party on the same day, and they want us to joined like everyone to find the eggs and the prizes will be given after. Everyone had fun and got baskets so we wont get trouble to hold the eggs but I never got the main prize but yeah I had fun playing with my cousins and friends that day.

In my country, we don't actually celebrate the Easter Holidays with Easter bunnies or eggs. I guess its because of our religion. Though I am not really against celebrating this season with such joyous activities I remember a party having both the bunnies and egg hunts. And since I'm a chocolate lover I would go go for both.

It's chocolate all the same right? So I'd say, both!
