The Megalodon still exists in the deep waters of the oceans.

The Megalodon still exists in the deep waters of the oceans.
There have been past evidences found that the Megalodon is still very much alive and is roaming in the deep waters of the pacific and atlantic oceans. An unknown sound of very high frequency was heard recently and also evidence of monstrous teeth have been found.

These arguments do serve as a strong evidence that the Megalodon is roaming in the oceans and deep sea divers should be extra careful.

Probably....

Well as they say the ocean isn't completely explored thus not ruling out the concept that a Megalodon could exist today. The idea of a prehistoric creature such as a Megalodon cannot be ruled out becuase of the ambiguity of the oceans

Yes

I remember one frequency which is being constantly in the Antarctica. And seems to be calling for someone. Maybe other megs. Or some lost meg. It is possible that those megs are living under. And definitely surviving all those toxic pollution. I don't see any other way this may work around though because they need oxygen too.

maybe

I think it's possible since we have yet to discover a lot of species not only underwater but even just in deep forests so I don't think it's that far fetched. Also probably for something that big to survive and stay hidden they do probably have to adapt to just stay in the shadows where the surface life can't disturb them.

Sure

Many unknown or unseen creatures populate the world's oceans. Not just The MEG.

The MEG is a scary creature. I might just give up at the sight of it. We really don't know what lies in the deepest parts of the ocean.

There is a possibility

Megalodon can very well still be existing in the deep ocean. Deep under the waters there are so many creatures existing under there and I'm certain that Megalodon might still exist very well under deep waters.

It Lives

As the saying goes "If there's Smoke, then there's Fire". And there's a lot of smoke lately, a lot of sightings and eyewitness accounts that suggests that the Apex predator of the sea, the Megalodon is still prowling the depths of the oceans. I do believe that Megalodons are still alive and soon one would eventually be caught or killed.

Maybe yes?

If that is what they told. They give us a small evidence but it only give us a chance to prove it right. So maybe there still a megalodon.

Agree

I would like to agree on this. Since there are evidences that it still exists, we cannot deny the fact that Megalodon still lives deep in the ocean. I'm a curious of what they looks like but of course, I don't want to have an encounter with them. The ocean is too big so it is not impossible to have a place for a Megalodon to live secretly.

We don't know

The fact that we have not reached the very bottom of the Pacific or other deep oceans, makes us unsure of what other creatures live there. Perhaps, Megalodon is still alive along with other creatures yet to be discovered.

possible

The ocean is so vast and deep that it may be possible that the megalodon is still swimming in the deep. It means that poachers and pollution have not reached some parts of the ocean.

Probably Yes

We are all amazed everytime we saw extraordinary creatures especially sea creatures. There is a high probability that Megalodon is still alive and existing up to this day. Seas and oceans were so vast and deep to be explored. But I believe that deeps of the oceans are full of wonderful things and creatures.

The unknown

The sea hasn't really been discovered and we really don't know what lies underneath us. Anything is possible and if you were to ask me, the megalodon is possible. Just by watching movies about the sea and ocean you can tell how big the water is and what lies beneath.

Probably

I think there's more to discover under the oceans. As other divers takes photos of some unexpected creäture to exist. I think its safe to assume that it is still existing.

high possibility

There's a high possibility that it still exist as we haven't explored a large percentage of the oceans.

Yes

I think that this statement is very true. The see at its deepest is about 11 km, and people haven't even researched 30% of the world oceans. So i think what you are saying is very true.

Yes indeed.

There is a big chance that Megalodon still exist the first reason is we haven't yet explored the ocean's deepest parts there still a lot of unexplored parts of the ocean that mankind is still not capable of reaching. therefor there is a slight possibility that Megalodon are still lurking under the deepest reaches of the ocean just waiting to be found.
Posted by antonToledo on 12-06-2018

Disagree

cmoneyspinner

I'm Not Buying It!

I think all these sightings are popping up all over the place because of that movie with Jason Statham. Whatever! I'm sticking to this argument until I actually see a megalodon with my own eyes. Which is not going to happen because I don't go to the beach anymore. LOL.

I think so

The ocean have not explored specially underwater so there is a high chance that this kind of creature still exist under the ocean.

Doubtful

I have doubts about its existence, and I might only believe it if it's captured on film. The species is even in jeopardy because they just came up with it by linking some bones anyway.

So Unlikely...

With the amount of evidence we have right now, I can't believe that Megalodons can exist in the deep waters. It's just too unlikely because of their size (the bigger they are, the more they need to eat and we have no evidence that a large mass of animals are being eaten in deep waters). Unless if I'm presented with enough evidence, I won't believe that the Megalodon isn't extinct.

I agree that it definitely exist in the deep waters of the ocean. If I am not mistaken, only one fourth of the earth's ocean is explored by humans up to this day. So, I believe that the remaining parts of the ocean is not known yet and there maybe a lot more species or anything that is hidden there and is waiting to be discovered. I think that Megalodons are still alive since there are fossils of their teeth and that is the evidence that it exist, It's just no show for now.

You have a great point. Humans haven't even explored the totality of the two poles on Earth, which are just on the surface. Hw much more with the deepest parts of the ocean? I still believe that there are monsters down there, sea creatures that are yet to be discovered and of different sizes.

I think there are still many sea leaving creatures who exists. It is just that people hardly to find them as they are in deep seas. Not all explorers find them as there are oceans which is hard to get as other oceans can be dangerous and they might not be able to comeback.

It would be good to study how the megalodon species endured if it doe still exist. Knowing how they have lived and adapted for so many years can help researchers prevent the extinction of other species.

I also think that it's highly possible because the ocean is so big that we can't see everything and with the evidences it really is possible. This creatures are the reason why I'm always scared of the ocean especially the deep ones because it must be these species who will kill me. I will stop watching movies like Jaws, I already have some kind of sea phobia or whatever.

Maybe, maybe not. I mean we can not conclude since ocean is not totally explored by the scientist and as for me I think it would be better hidden from the people since most of us have a destructive nature. We always destroy and never take good care of the all the living things that surrounds us.

I agree with you. No equipment has been to the deepest part and every corner of oceans, so, it's too early to judge if something exists or not. We really don't know, unless we see.

It could be possible. Some of the species in the world are just yet to be discovered. Other species we thought that are already extinct still exist and became rediscovered. Also there are so many deep sea creatures in the world that are not yet recorded. We need more studies and devices to be able to do this and with our current technology, it's not yet enough. But who knows? In the future, finding this controversial creatures would just be a piece of cake.

The megalodon may be swimming in the waters where the coelacanth was found. It was said to have been extinct long ago with the dinosaurs but some were found to still be alive.

Maybe. Or maybe something similar may exist deep within the vastness of the sea. But since we do not have the evidences of it then I would assume no.

We really don't know what lies in the deepest parts of our oceans. We haven't explored every corner of the earth, so, nothing is impossible.

The sea makes up 75% of the world, and I'm sure there are other species out there in existence that we don't know. However, they have been researching for years and saying it's still alive today without proper proof. A sound may be anything, and not entirely from the big fish.
Posted by NerdIndeed on 11-25-2018

It may be possible because we really don't know whats in there deep down the ocean. It can happen because the see floor is still a large place to live by the megalodon.

As we all know, the ocean is the most mysterious thing and holds the history of the Earth. In addition, we know space more than the deep abyss. We only discover 5% of it and who knows what's in the rest of 95%? It is disturbing yet amazing because we humans still don't know if animals like Megalodon (the biggest sea animal) is still down there. I think it's still there... waiting to be discovered.

There is indeed a possibility. The sea remains unexplored even with the advancement of the technology today. Who knows how deep it is? No one. People can only give estimates which I believe is far from the exact depth of the sea. In this world, there is no such thing as impossibility and such sea creatures might really exist. The Earth remains unexplored in its entirety.

There's always a chance to find big creatures down there, because there's no way to be 100% sure the oceans are free from Megs. Let's face it, if it was super hard to find that submarine that was lost for more than a year, how will they find a giant fish? So, of course deep water explorers should be super cautious, I don't know exactly what could attract or make a big fish angry, but honestly I would avoid doing it so. Also, areas where monstruos teeth marks have been found, should be warned about.

The megalodon still exist in the deep waters of the oceans: A long time before, there were this kind of news that it is really exists. Perhaps so. Those who studied such kind of species found something on the part of it, a tooth. If they were really living in the deep oceans then those divers must be really careful. Even though there's not enough evidence to prove that they still living at the deep oceans.

Pardon me for this comment that is contrary to the subject matter especially to the title. In this age of computers and internet there are fake news which usually arose from speculations and it is easy to publish because of the social media. That is short of saying that I don’t believe the claim of the existence of “big tooth” because it is already extinct like the dinosaurs whose trace are only the fossils.

Seriously, this just makes matters worse for me. I am already afraid of swimming in the ocean because sharks exist and then you had to give me this idea that a Megalodon could still be lurking in the deep waters of our ocean, biding its time, waiting for the right time and place to make its grand entrance. This summer, swimming pools here I come!
