The proper use of the digital camera

The proper use of the digital camera
The digital camera can be set to a certain resolution for the pictures and also for the video. My suggestion for the resolution of the pictures is to set it to the highest resolution so that you can print the picture with clarity even on a large tarpaulin. Setting the resolution to the minimum can save you on the memory card but it has a limitation in size when printing. A blown up picture with low resolution will give you a not so clear image.

The video resolution should also be set to the maximum so that it has the potential to be used for showing in a screen that is the size of the cinema. By the way, when using the cell phone for shooting pictures or videos always use it in the horizontal position so the framing will be synchronized.

I agree on this. Whenever I am taking a photo or video using my phone, I realized how the image gets better when I am using it horizontally. I also agree that setting the resolution to the highest could be an effective way to produce a good quality of photo that your camera can provide. It may cost up higher memory but what's important is that you got a wonderful shot for your photo.

Yes, consuming the space of your memory isn't important if the image that you produced is very commendable.

This is true as a high resolution will ensure that some issues won't come out when you are printing the pictures and this is one of the reasons that made me to always set mine to a high level. I really had a good time doing so back in those days as well.

That is true. High resolution was key on getting during the days. Now it looks so easy and simple to do. Wish we could turn back the time sometimes to the good golden days of technology.

Well, although I have a compact digital camera with me, I rarely use it these days. I have started using my mobile phone to take all sorts of pictures more frequently than using the digital camera. However, I agree that it is better to take pics at a higher resolution to get better quality pictures. The only problem is that when you are used to clicking a lot of pictures at a high resolution then you will definitely have a problem of storing them on Mobile phones as they have limited storage space

Thank you for the useful tips. A digital camera is a handy tool to have with you when you go out with your friends to capture some cool pics and also to edit some nice photographs. There are wide range of resolutions available and also you can have the Panorama view to capture some epic shots.

Yes, this is true. I always think that if you have the highest resolution imset in your camera, though the size could be big, but it can never go wrong.

That's right. Nothing is more appealing than a picture or video in high quality. Well, I just hope that one day, phone cameras with high megapixels would be cheaper than they are now.

I don't understand why there even is an option to shoot in a lower resolution. Anyone can purchase a high capacity SD card for cheap now. It's even hard to fill up a 32 GB SD card with my DSLR. How much more for point and shoots.

SD cards can be bought anywhere and they aren't as expensive as they were. You can carry as much as you like when you're taking pictures and easily transfer them to your computer when you can. Taking high quality shots is going to be a better option specially if you plan on having a physical copy of the image.
