I'd rather spend my money on other stuff that a ticket to watch a game. I love watching games but it is too expensive for my taste. Especially championship games. The best thing is about watching at home is you can have all your friends with you, eat as much as you can and no hassle fighting the traffic.

at home always

It is much a better atmosphere and you can invite friends around to get a lot of lunch/food. Also, plenty of beers. Have a good laugh with the lads around the telly get drunk.

Home is the best

I've worked in some well known sports venues such as Wembley and Silverstone, and without a doubt being at home is better for the viewer.

If you are there live, most people need to be near a screen to see the live action up close. In F1, because you can only see part of the circuit, you don't know what is happening in other parts, and you miss things. The same goes for golf, you miss the action.

Being at a venue is about the experience and sharing it with others and not necessarily to watch the event. I used to see many people at a game in the bar, and not watching the game!

Home sweet home

Home is the best place where I could be at ease, shout as much as I wanted, bring along friends to cheer on our favorite or foe teams, bet without money, just for fun and make some healthy snacks at home.

If we are at the stadium, it would be inconvenient to visit the restroom, leave the seat to buy food and stretch out after watching for hours. In addition to the weather which is unpredictable, it is better to stay at home.

Call me cheap, but stadiums cost too much.

If you have an adequate entertainment system, I would say that the better option is definitely just staying at home and watching the game with your friends. Going to a stadium can get ridiculously pricey for one thing. Between the tickets and the overpriced concessions, you're looking at a really hefty price tag for what is in my opinion a inferior experience. The view from regular seats is rarely ever that good. Meanwhile on television you can get multiple angles and close ups. You can cook a lot of food and buy drinks that would normally be crazy expensive at a game. Maybe going to a stadium game is alright once in a while, but at home is where I'd most commonly watch things.

Most of the times I watch the sports games at home. The main reason is that the tickets are quite expensive over here. Even if I manage to get some free tickets at time no one really wants to accompany me to the stadium. It is not fun to go to the stadium alone. I prefer to watch the games at home with my friends or relatives and find it to be more enjoyable.

Watching at home!

This is the best method...I take my friends, a lot of beers, peanuts, or sandwiches and we stay on my big couch and watch a good football match. I don't like to watch it from a stadium because there is a lot of noise, I cannot eat or drink properly and sometimes there people start to fight and harm each other!

Home!

I'm not a very outgoing person so home is my top 1 choice always. You can customize your evening to your very own liking. Also, it's way cheaper. You can drink a better quality drink and eat better quality food spending less.

Convenience and safety

The advantage of watching sports games at home is that it is hassle free unlike going to the arena which can be daunting because of the amount of people present in there. At home, I feel safe and secure. I woul rather host a viewing party at home where it is safe.

At home

I was once at a stadium to watch a football match and it wasn't the greatest experience. Drunk people screaming near your ears is not what I want when all I look for is to enjoy a match. I'd rather stay at home watching it on TV with my snacks and drinks in the comfort of my couch/bed and with a clean bathroom to my only disposition.

The atmosphere is incredible

I've experienced watching sports matches live in stadiums and arenas a couple of times and I could say that the atmosphere and ambiance is electrifying. Watching at home on TV is nothing compared to watching live and in person.

The downside is that, I don't have the financial capability to watch at a stadium each and every game. That's why most of the time I watch in front of the TV.

If you have watched once in a stadium or arena, you'll find that watching on TV is kinda boring and dull.

Amazing!

I do both types of watching frequently but I think that because it is specifically watching sports, that nothing beats the atmosphere of a live game.

I live really near a big football stadium so I go there to watch football games almost every few weeks. I have various sporting goods like t shirt and scarf because I love to show support for my local football team. When you go to the stadium you show not only your support but your true passion. There isn't anything better than going with a bunch of friends and cheering for your team. You can scream as loud as you can and enjoy!

It is a unique experience and it always pumps me with adrenaline.

Stadium

I prefer to watch most of the sports in the stadium. I have found out that it can be surely good option in such case. I don't know if there are any good options. But it;s fun around the people around. I have found out and that can be good enough as well.

Love The Ballpark

I absolutely love going to the stadium to see games, of all kinds, and this is a vastly superior experience to watching games at home. It is also vastly more expensive, of course, but getting a cold beer and a bag of ballpark peanuts and sitting there looking down on the players in the flesh is wonderful fun. I do this whenever I can, and it was also a big part of my childhood. I am nostalgic, especially about going to baseball games.

The best

Football is one of the most popular sporting activities in the world today, almost everybody has fallen in love with it and make it part of their daily life. And watching it live is the best compare to being in your room watching it alone. You will have the opportunity to see all the action live, meet new people from across the world, the exact stature of your supporting club players & coach in real life unlike on TV that your brain can't grasp the exact size. The depth of joy that comes when you see people to rejoice with when your club wins goes a long way.

More Exciting

I'm not a particularly big sports fan, but occasionally I think it's fun to go to a sports arena to watch a game. The energy of the crowd, being out of the house to do something different, and being at the live action of the game all make it a more interesting experience.

Nothing compares!

Usually, this always depends on which sport we are talking about because if it's a sport of which I'm really a fan... Well, I'll always prefer to go to a stadium and / or sports arenas to watch a live match because that is the kind of emotion that can't (and shouldn't) be replaced in any way.

Different stroke for diffrent people(Introver/extr

Come to look at this this way, those who watch at home can't afford the stadium tickets, yes you read that well, and that's fact, because there is no how you will give someone a match ticket and the person will kept it and decide to watch from home, lie!. The trill of being with your fellow fans, people who share the-same view as you, getting the first hand signal and feel of roar of joy can't be over emphasized. so Stadium has it .

A dynamic way of life.

Both types of watching sport games have their own benefits, but watching something live is a whole new experience. Of course, not everyone can afford going to a game of their favorite team and you probably wouldn't have the chance to go to a lot of events if you're not living at the right place. On the other hand such an event can become a memorable experience that you can keep with yourself for your whole life. Especially if you bring close people of yours to said event. Cheering for your favorite team/player, surrounded by thousands of people who share the same ideas as you can be amazing.

Live

Nothing beats when you watch it live right from the arena or stadium. There's magical with the atmosphere, wherein you can't stop but cheer and shout. Watching it right before your eyes is something exciting, it's like it's you playing right in that center.

For the most part, I would prefer watching games in person, but it depends on what kind of tickets you have. Some stadiums are so big that if you get tickets really far back, the view you have is not great and you would probably be able to see more of what's going on if you stayed at home and watched the game on TV. However, if spending a little more on tickets is not an issue, I would definitely say watching games at a stadium is better. I love the atmosphere and everyone is just there to have a good time. It's more exciting watching a game with a whole crowd of people cheering and being able to see everything that's going on rather than what the camera is pointing at.

watching games at the stadium would be more interesting and fun because I get to see the real action. However, I prefer to watch games on TV. However, I don't watch recorded games, I watch live games. One of the benefits of watching games on TV is the repeat of the curcial moment. You might miss the goal, but the TV telecast will repeat the scene.

Watching the game at the stadium or arena. The intensity is very much greater than at home and you will be able to probably make a few new friends and also enjoy some friendly banter. At home, you are able to have some friends around and also enjoy the camaraderie and even some rivalry but In my view, it will not match up to the stadium atmosphere.

Well, I couldn't vote because I enjoy both, to be honest. When it's a tournament and my favorite teams are in it, I don't mind watching the game at a stadium/arena. I love the energy and vibes the crowd gives off; full of high spirits. Especially when my friends are involved too! However, I will say watching sports games at home provides a level of comfort in your own dwellings. As well as a selection of food you want. Plus you don't have to go anywhere. Personally, it depends on what sort of mood I'm in and what my friends are up for.

How about not watching sports on television at all. I am not a sports fan. But there were times when I watched live sports but it was paid for work or an event so I had fun eating and drinking!

I am also not a sports fan. It's tough when my job occasionally operates around sporting events, too. I'll occasionally run switcher or replay machines for the broadcasting company that does the live video for our college's volleyball and baseball games, and sometimes it gets tough, especially when the games drag on. Sometimes I find myself starting to slip into daydream mode when I should be focusing on the job at hand.

I usually watch my games at home. I haven't been to a stadium or arena for quite awhile, but I do enjoy the experience. It is fun to be a part of a group all rooting for the same team. This is one of the options that you can find when you go to the stadium, everyone is out to have a good time and root for their team. Of course there are those that take it too far.

I've never been a huge fan of sports in general. In school, I spent more time creating things and playing music as opposed to being on the field with a sports team, which was my personal decision. Nonetheless, I just could never get into football or basketball games, even though I had to be at home games to play as part of the band. If I had to pick between the two, I'd choose to watch sports at home, that way I'm not at the mercy of the game and can leave to do my own stuff whenever I want. If I'm at a stadium, I'm basically part of a captive audience, meaning I'm there until the end of the game.

Actually depends on my budget and schedule and also if there are nearby sports events or games happening locally. If there is one and I like the event, I would definitely go. Last time me and my friends went on a 300-km ride just to watch our favorite baseball game because one of our representatives are playing. :)

I would always choose watching tv instead of going to the sports arena which is very inconvenient. Beside, my concern is the games and the tv camera gets the best view of the games. Most people I know who go to the sports arena wanted to experience the atmosphere. They want to be there to cheer with the crowd saying it's a different kind of feeling. But after the games, they are very tired from watching especially when there is too much traffic on the road after the game.

I would prefer to go to the stadium if I can. Alas, I live in another part of the world so I can only watch sports on television. I guess I will consider going when I have some time and money to spare. The atmosphere at the stadium should be electric.

I am not a huge sports watching fan but whenever I choose to pay attention to sports, I would rather play the game in the field or watch the game on the television. Watching at home allows me to tune in and tune out whenever I need to get away. This can be very difficult if you're in a stadium filled with spectators. At home I can snack anytime I want, I get first go at the kitchen, bathroom and best chair in the house! When I'm playing sport games outside or the few times I choose to watch the games I can sometimes participate or just watch the live action without interruption.

I prefer to watch my favourite sport game at home. At home , the atmosphere is conducive and you are well relaxed at home without any fear of harrasment from other sport fans at the stadium. Some stadium might not be safe to watch your favourite sport event, because you can be harrased by opposing fans and by hooligans at the stadium. If the staduim is not well secured people can lose their lives after watching sport games in the stadium. If you feel the stadium is safe you can still go ahead and watch your sport event, but watching it at home is still more safer.

For me, what matters is my company of friends. I don't like to see any event alone. Being in the company of my close friends is always fun and it makes everything enjoyable. Neither do I like going to the stadium alone, nor watching the live telecast.

When we talk about preference, then I would opt for watching the match comfortably in my living room. Going to a stadium is a costly affair. During peak summers, watching a match in open air is highly uncomfortable.

It's much more exciting to go watch a game in person, especially if you are a huge fan of the team. I'm glad I've been able to enjoy that experience on more than one occasion. I hope I get to do it again. It's like the difference between going to a live concert or watching a video on youtube. I'll always choose live. Exciting and fun. Of course, it's also more expensive, and sometimes the logistics (things like travel, parking, etc.) can be a pain, but I think it's worth it.

Being at home and watching the game is more appealing to me because of freedom. When your at home you are able to get up and grab some food real quick and rush back to sit on the couch. When your watching the game you get hungry so why keep getting up to wait in a long line and pay when you have unlimited food ten steps away at home. My next point is who wants to leave the game to use the restroom a nasty restroom at that when the one at your house has no line and smells like roses. Last but not least why spend money on a game that you can watch at home, going to games in person should only be for special occasions in my opinion.
