Weirdest services you have seen offered on craigslist
Craigslist is popular for posting job ads, special services and a few really absurd service offers. What is strangest service you have encountered on Craigslist or that you have heard or read of. I would start by mentioning the services I found really absurd.

SEX TUTORIALS A particular seller on Craigslist simply does not want his clients going into their marriages unprepared, inexperienced or wants to spice up the married's marriage life. Because of that he offers fully practical sex instructions to his clients for compensation. Truly strange huh?

BEST ROOM MATE It is not uncommon to see people place ads looking for roommates to rent an apartment alongside them. But this guy wants to live in your room for free, promising he would provide the service of being the best roommate you've ever had.

FAKE WIFE RENTAL This lady would be your wife for some time agreed upon for pay , she would do everything a wife would do as though she were your wife. Ever wanted to find out if you are ready for marriage or just preparing towards your wedding, that's some hilariously useful service there.

Now post yours : Services you have found absurd, hilarious or completely useless on Craigslist.

Yeah I've seen fake wife rental in the past, but there is some weir, weird stuff on craigslist. Mainly all I have seen is 'legitimate' film companies 'hiring' adult actresses, but the oriental massages always seem to pop up as well.

Yes I have seen some very funny listings on Craigslist.

I can't remember all the strange things I have seen there but I do remember seeing a married couple looking for a sister wife for a polygamous relationship.

I once saw an absolutly hilarious posting on Craigslist where someone was offering to sell a time machine. I decided to send them the $5 that they requested and a couple of hours after he had received payment I got a text message from an unknown number, it said this.

"This is your future self, do not buy the time machine, it is a terrible decision and will result in lots of pain and suffering and wombats overthrowing the country."

I ignored the text and the next day I was texted by another unknown number (from the same guy I assume), which claimed to be 'future, future' me. It said this:

At this point I was finding it hilarious and had shown all my co-workers and friends and family who also found it hilarious. The best part is in the end I could not decide if it was real or not. I mean obviously I know it was fake, but a tiny part of me did not want to risk it and so I ended up not buying it and that is the end of the story which resulted in someone making a free $5.

haha that is hilarious. What was the $5 for? I thought the $5 was to buy the time machine but your last sentence says you ended up not buying it?

I sent the money, but I ended up not going to collect it because I was kinda freaked out! So I payed for it, but didn't buy it because I did not go and get it!

That time machine gave me a good laugh. I sometimes wonder when some people have the temerity to be funny but more often they are serious in their action. This reminds me of a person who filed a certificate of candidacy for senator of our country. He made a short speech to the media people that were present in the comelec office. The candidate said that he is actually Lucifer who has the power over the people and the entire world.

A real life Elf on the Shelf

The lady was offering to come to your house and sit on your shelf. At first I assumed that it was just a novelty type service, that is until I looked at the photo. Lets just say that this elf on the shelf was in no way meant for children. A 60+ year old woman wearing only elf ears and elf shoes. YUCK

where should I begin with. it is known to harbor criminals, I once saw a hit-man for hire, some selling drugs is not uncommon. I have also come across the fake wife and Best room mate ads on there too.some honorable mentions: -An older man for Valentine’s Day. -Shitty first date. Just to name a few

I always like to browse Craigslist for the crazy people posts. The things that really creeped me out are those old men who are looking for live-in roommates/girlfriends or whatever you want to call them. Basically, they offer to share the room for free in exchange for sexual favors and company. What really gets me is that they even have the nerve to post pictures of themselves right on the ad. I guess are not even a little bit shy about this.

Craigslist is full of nothing but strange and weird services and old junk that no one really needs at ridiculous prices. I think the weirdest service I ever saw, when I was browsing a more rural area, was a man who was willing to deliver eggs to customers monthly. Not sure if that is an old time American thing but it is not something that I would trust. There isn't really a demand for that is there? Don't people have it easy enough just going to the store and getting them?

I don't check Craigslist too often. Therefore, I have not found weird services as mentioned above. By the way, I am interested in the know whether the posters of those ads got their clients? Would anyone pay someone to have this person as a wife, or sex partner to get prepared for married life?

I think some sections have decent jobs. But like say some jobs that are being put forward. It can be really odd like. girlfriend experience and so on. It all depends on how the services are being allowed on that site. I am often puzzled at that point.

Renting that fake wife takes the cake. Isn’t it funny and amusing? But if that is serious stuff then I guess it has gone too far. But mind you, I’m sure there are guys who would rent that woman especially if she is good-looking. I know of some guys who does not have the guts to court a woman but wanted to have a wife. At least for an experience, maybe a day or 2, that fake wife rental can suffice that need of some guys. But the question is how much and up to what extent is the role playing?

FAKE WIFE RENTAL? Seriously, you got to be kidding me. There is nothing one wouldn't see in this our modern world. Sometimes, I wonder and keep asking why are things this way in our society today? This is not something wise or a thing to be proud of but in reality it's happening and there is no putting an end to it.

I do check craiglist a lot at least the free section to see what are really free there and I have come across some very weird services like keeping a man company for a fee, renting a stripper to entertained one's wife and stuff like that and at the end of the day, people patronises these serviices,it shows are queer and weird humans are.

I have seen cuddle service. I have also seen the temp boyfriend service. And then there are some really bad services like taking care of the odd jobs etc. It all depends on how the people choose to do those.
