What is the best TV series you ever watched?
I am a big fan of TV series. I actually prefer watching them instead of a movie. The fact that there are several episodes after one another keeps me interested in what is going to happen and keen to know what will be next. I always end up feeling really sad when a series ends because after all those months it becomes a part of me. My favorite series is Prison Break. I love all the characters who are impeccably brought to life with the talented actors and actresses. I simply love the intrigue of it all, the mastermind of the main actor, and the plot. I also enjoy other series such as Grimm, Breaking Bad and 24. But Prison Break beats them all! What about you?

Hands down the best television series I've ever watched was Breaking Bad. For me, that show just hit all the right spots. The writing was extremely well done and very suspenseful, but also featured many comedic moments that break the tension. Thankfully those moments weren't cheesy or out of place either but very well written as well. The cinematography was excellent and used many unique perspectives that made things interesting to watch. The acting was also phenomenal, as Bryan Cranston gave an absolutely unforgettable performance. It was amazing to see him go from silly dad on Malcolm in the Middle to cold as ice drug lord. The show had it all.

My favorite series was Sons of Anarchy followed closely by Breaking Bad. I couldn't get enough of those two shows and I was so sad when they came to an end. I never missed a single episode of either. I also enjoyed Dexter and Bates Motel. There has been quite a few series that I have really enjoyed over the years but SONS was definitely the favorite.

I know this feeling. I felt the same way after watching Breaking Bad. I felt like a part of my life is missing. I was lurking all over the internet looking for an alternative just to fulfill my longing for the show but I couldn't find anything similar to it. But a couple of months ago I found Better Call Saul and I am so happy. :D

Choosing an answer to this was a challenge for me. At first, I was going to say the Game of Thrones but I realise that isn't true. I have the Game of Thrones box set the whole series and I have other series box sets too. One box set that I have I have watched over and over again, and many more times than I have watched the Game of Thrones.

That box set is the Tudors from Peace Arch Entertainment and written by Michael Hirst. It's brilliant to see the Tudor court from a different perspective.

I think the Game of Thrones is the most popular tv series at the moment because most of the people in my circle are talking about the Game of Thrones even before the new series started. I am not much for tv because I am so busy with work. I have a full time job in the office and I still have to attend to my freelancing so understandably I have no more time for watching tv.

For me it is very difficult to choose just one series as the best of all. I particularly already watch several very good series and I ended up becoming a big fan of them. My list can be summed up in Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Prison Break, Rescue Me. Each one has a special touch and for me, there are still no better series than these.

I thought "Prison Break" was good. It was actually much better than I ever thought it could be. When I first heard about it, I wasn't really interested. I later watched it on Netflix and wow.

I was really surprised to see the revival season of it, after so much time had passed. I watched the older seasons over before watching the new one. I love most of the characters. I also think that Sarah Wayne Callies is an underrated actor.

I think 24 was the best, because everything was linked and you never knew who was going to get killed next. It was good, but the recent attempt to revive it didn't work as well because the characters weren't as well written and there was too much about Jack we didn't know about. The first couple of series were the best where you couldn't miss it in case anyone spoiled it for you.

Well, I've watched quite a few TV shows and I'm having a hard time deciding. There's a show that I've been watching recently called "Lucifer" that is about the devil taking a break from hell to come to Las Vegas and live out his life as a club owner. Then he meets this detective that is immune to his devilish "charms" and decides to do police work. Think of it as iDevil instead of iZombie. The second one that I've been watching (and a lot of people can agree) is Game of Thrones. I don't have to explain the synopsis of this one and if I do shame on you. The third is Gotham which is a story of the mythical city of Gotham before Batman became well, Batman. It mostly focuses around Batman's friend in the GCPD detective James Gordon(You know, that old police guy in every Batman movie). It also shows all of your favorite Gotham villains as they become who you know them to be like Penguin, Poison Ivy, Joker (Of course), Fish Mooney (but she's a woman in this series), and cat woman. Those are my top three for the time being until something else blows me away.

I am going to get on board with Breaking Bad. It was scintillating. I did not watch the show when it was on cable but got interested in it on Netflix and binge watched several episodes at a time. One of the best shows ever in my book.

You are not the only one. :D Breaking Bad is just so awesome. I wish they still make tv shows same as Breaking Bad. You should also try to watch Better Call Saul. It's somewhat a prequel of Breaking Bad. The plot was before and during Breaking Bad.

Definitely is The Bates Motel. It's about a family of a mother and two sons that have a lot of mental issues. They kill people everywhere and try to have a normal life, the thing is that they will never have that peace that they always seek.

From the comedy side I would say "Friends" it's my all time favorite series. and on the crime side I would say "Dexter". I remember I discovered it when it was on season 4 and I had to watch all the previous seasons in a week to catch up. I loved it and I still do. I haven't rewatched it yet but maybe I will some day.

When I was a young girl, I was a fan of "Little House in the Prairie". My mom used to watch this family genre tv series from the moment Melissa Gilbert was a little girl until she had her own children. It was a very long series without loving and touching scenes that brought tears. When I was a teen, I watched "Friends" which I must say, a very good comical tv series to bring the house down. Now, I watch CSI or Mentalist with my hubby because he loves suspense and crime series where we had to figure out who is / are the actual killers and how the crime is solved. It is a mind boggling game that tested our intelligence.

Breaking Bad is a piece of art the character development, specially the main character Walter White, the series doesn't leave loose ends, it closes every storyline and it's a perfect ride, I think it's the greatest TV show out there.

A.L.I.A.S (a series of action mixed with drama) created by J.J Abrams and with the amazing Jennifer Garner (13 Going on 30) in the lead role. To this day, the TV has never been able to present a series better than that. A.L.I.A.S proved its quality (even more) by becoming timeless... It's a success in every possible way! :-)

I loved the series "Breaking Bad" and I was so sad to see it end. I loved every character on there from the unsuspecting school teacher turned drug kingpin Walter White, to smart mouthed side kick Jesse Pinkman. The series seemed to get better with every season from the story lines to the acting to the villains. Even though I was sad to see the show end, I'm glad it went out on a good, strong note.

I've read the Song of Ice and Fire books and I'm a huge fan of the Game of Thrones series, so I have to declare it the best series I've watched. I know is overly-praised, but the plot is just so interesting you cannot help but become hooked. It is true that the violence and the gratuitous nudity is sometimes a bit jarring, but it hasn't stopped me from enjoying the deep political messages and the multidimensional, complex characters.

I understand what you feel. I was even skeptical when I first read the book but when I watched the first episode, I was blown away of how amazing the show is. George R.R Martin definitely made a good one and so as the HBO producers.

I honestly can't pick up my favorite. I would like to leave out all the mainstream ones like GoT out of this and focus on some less known series you fellas might want to check out. Revolution was pretty fun. I really loved watching Falling Skies. Especially the first season. It involved a lot of character interactions and it was really great. Later on it turned a bit weird, some people might not like where it has gone, but in general, I have enjoyed the entire series to the very end.

My all time favorite childhood show is Full House so I was very happy to hear Fuller House was a new version. I had a great time watching it. I am also a fan of Desperate Housewives, Private Practice (and was a fan of Grey's Anatomy but since all the good characters are no longer on the show, I stopped watching it).

I've seen a lot of TV series, and I agree with OP about Prison Break, I love that show, it's definitely on my top 10 TV series. But the best TV series that I've seen would be Lost. The show is about an airplane that crashed on an island, and the survivors try to find their way to survive and uncovers secrets of the island. It's a mystery, comedy, drama, thriller, sci-fi TV series. It basically has it all, and the characters are likeable, every episode will get you excited for the next one. It's a must watch show for everyone.

Breaking Bad! It took me so long to finally start watching Breaking Bad. My friends literally had to force me to. I do not know why but I always assumed it wouldn't be for me. But let's face it, Breaking Bad is for anybody and everybody. I watched all of the seasons and episodes. I binge-watched most of them because I couldn't stop. My favorite seasons are probably the first two because as serious the topic of drugs is they still manage to add the unique style of humor into it.

I hated the ending because it just made me sad how far Walter has come for greed and how it ruined his life. I still have all of the seasons on DVD. Most amazing series ever.

Definitely Breaking Bad. The series was just amazing from first to last and if I had a way to forget everything, I would just so I could watch the whole series again. Breaking Bad is a masterpiece. The acting was phenomenal and the lines were fantastic, it still has some of the best lines I've ever heard in both movies and TV series. I might watch the spinoff Better Call Saul, a lot of people have said that it's pretty good.

Rome was the best TV series I ever watched. sadly, the series ended with just two season. I liked this series because it is based on roman history, which I have been reading since I was a child. Rome was aired on HBO about a decade ago. After Rome, Spartacus is my second best series.

I also find over time I've become more fond of TV series than movies. I've watched and loved so many over the years, but there are clear favourites including many others here have mentioned. But overall, I do believe my favourite TV series of all time is 24. It was always so fast paced, highly charged and DELICIOUSLY crammed full of suspense. I also love Kiefer Sutherland in that role. Some of the other ones I rate highly are Prison Break (hated the ending, though) Breaking Bad (great from start to finish), Game of Thrones and Dexter, among others. The latest one I'm really enjoying is Designated Survivor with Kiefer Sutherland. I'm just praying it doesn't get cancelled, fingers crossed!!

I'd be ashamed if I only say one. :D I have a couple favorite tv series. They are Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, True Detective and I'm currently watching House of Cards. All those I mentioned made an impact to my life. They have taught me a lot of things and I have unlocked some of my hidden mental abilities :p just by watching them.

You would probably laugh but hey guys I have 40....I loved the serial "Dallas" I know you know on what serial I am talking. The Ewing family made my life easier in the communist era. Pamela, Bobby, Cliff and J.R were the best actors in Dallas. Even now after so many years, I would love to watch this serial again!

Xoxo...Gossip girl. I can't get enough of this series. The whole new York upper class and the lower class set up. The drama, break and make up between Dan and Serena. And also the drama between chuck and Blair. How Dan tried to get into the rich folks circle. And the secrecy surrounding the identity of the gossip girl. The series is so real I can't get enough of it.

Wow, this is such a hard question! I've watched so many great TV series in the past and I can't choose just one!

Lost - I can say that Lost is the best TV series that I've watched because it was so mysterious and strange. The writers knew how to build suspense and mystery with each episode. It's the TV series that really played with my imagination. But then, there's also...

Breaking Bad - my goodness, the acting and story telling in this series is top notch. I never thought that I'd be hooked to a TV show about drugs, but this show had me glued to the TV screen every single time it aired. It's for adults only though. We move on to the third...

Suits - if there's one show that's motivating me to take up law, it's Suits. It's a slow about lawyers, and boy, are they smart, witty and funny. This show made the boring interesting.

Special mentions: Prison Break The Flash season 1

The best TV series i have watched is Babylon 5, I don't miss any chance to bring up this series, it's such an underrated show, and it's far superior than its equivalent Star Trek or star wars or any sci-phi series ever made.

I have watched countless TV series to the extent that I have no one which I could tag as my favorite one. There are even lots of them that I cannot remember them all, the likes of 24, Prison break, The Brave, The Exorcist, Sleepy Hollow, vampire diaries, true blood, the gate, etc. I personally cannot pick one ad my favorite because I love all of them.

I remember a tv series called X. Yeah, just one letter. I think it ran for only 1 season which is 14 weeks. The first few episodes were so intriguing that I got hooked and I would make it a point to see the next episode. The story is about aliens but it’s not very clear in the scenes that’s why it makes the viewers curious. There was a time that I had a date with my boyfriend and I was hurrying when we had dinner because I need to go home by 9 pm to watch the episode of X. It was a great tv series.

I'm going with a couple of animated series that really made me laugh like Family Guy and The Simpsons. For action Game Of Thrones. For Sitcoms it has to be Malcolm in the Middle and The Big Bang Theory. Right now my favorite is The Big Bang Theory it's quite hilarious and each episode will make you want to watch more of it.

In terms of TV shows, I tend to lean towards comedy and sitcom as my favorites. FRIENDS is a classic, you'll never get another ensemble show with a "nobodys" cast like that anymore. Until you watched The Big Bang Theory, of course! Currently running good sitcoms I'm watching are BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, THE LAST MAN ON EARTH, and THE GOOD PLACE. For drama shows the best for me is still HOUSE. Some other good ones were PERSON OF INTEREST, THE WIRE, and THE SOPRANOS. I can wathc these shows over and over again.
