I play a large variety of video games but my all time favorite would still have to be an RPG or MMORPG. I just feel like the RPG genre offers the most to the gamers. They are almost always extremely long, give you many hours of gameplay. Beautiful storylines, developed characters, side quests and decision-making that influences the overall game. MMORPG is even better since you can go online and play with your friends. I love those type of games.

I play almost all the genre of video games from the brain tasking,to puzzle to racing and all that. When once the game is interesting or brain tasking I'm now with it.I think the genre I love most is the puzzle genre.it helps stimulate my brain and sharpen my mind.I don't like dull games at all.

I think the strategy games are fun. They are the way you can figure things out and play at the same time. I think the best video games have strategy and action built together. These are some of the ways you can get the most of of the video games and it is something that people really enjoy doing for the most part so a combination of strategy and action are the things I think are the best.

RPG all the way. Combines elements of storytelling, character development, gameplay and visuals all into one awesome package. I also love that they're long too because I can get a lot of enjoyment for my money's worth. MMOs are also similar in that regard as well, though it's not an option in the polling. Combines social aspect to the RPG genre and also encourages team building to overcome objectives.

Even though I don't play video games that often this is somewhat difficult for me - as not only do I enjoy playing quite a number of the genres listed here - for example - first person shooter, strategy, platform and puzzle games - but I don't really have a favorite as such - as I enjoy all four for different reasons and at different times too.

However - as I can only choose one - its easier to narrow it down to the the genre I've been playing and have enjoyed the longest - which as the first games I ever played and got totally hooked on were - Heretic and Doom - would be FPS.

Without thinking twice: horror games are at the top of my list. I really like the fact that this genre of game is so rich and can have so many ramifications that make the games grow organically with so many great new versions.

The development of horror games seems to be always more careful and always brings the best innovations (in most of the segments).

Back in my youthful days, I would play all sorts of games from sports to action to FPS. Nowadays I take it lightly and play far less but I still love those puzzle games like tetris and the sorts. It's still quite comforting and easing to the mind to sometimes getaway and play something fun and somewhat flexes the mind muscle while relaxing. I have recently taken a glance at the visor or VR superhero games and they look quite inviting. Whichever games I choose to decide I will not give up on those puzzle games however because they haven't given up on making me feel good while playing.

I play a lot of games and I can appreciate a lot of genres except for turn based rpg because they'll usually have a slow pace and I like to always be on the edge. Action adventure is my second favorite genre, especially the uncharted series, but I have to vote for fighting games because that's always been one of my favorites.. Starting from tekken and ending with sports themed ones like ufc and fight night, I just love a good fighting game.

I am a fan of puzzle games. I used to play Puzzle Bubble where the little fat dinosaur blows up assorted bubbles into the air. Then I have to blast thee same color of the bubbles before they become heavier and smash down the dinosaur. It was fun and quick thinking, no time to dilly dally. Missed that kind of game. The latest apps game cannot beat that little dino.

Although I no longer play Role Playing Games as much as I did in the past due to my hectic work schedule, it's still my favorite video game genre. When I was in my teens, I played a lot of RPGs. I fell in love with the genre because it allowed me to completely escape from reality and enter an entirely new worlds of awe and wonder. RPGs usually present a huge game world which you can explore. There are forests, dungeons, mountains, oceans, cities, towns and lots of other locations to explore. I remember getting sucked in while playing games like Xenogears, Final Fantasy IX, Legend of Dragoon, Rogue Galaxy, Okami, and Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Also, RPGs tell long and engaging stories that further enhance the experience.

Hey I like sports games too! Have you tried playing the new NBA 2k18? What do you think about the game? Did you find it to be awesome? I haven't tried it out myself but I plan on purchasing it as I have been impressed with the gameplay videos that I have seen on YouTube. Aside from NBA 2K18, I think you'd also love the mobile game Basketball Hero. It's an online basketball game wherein you take control of one character only and participate in one on one, two on two or three on three battles with other people online. It's a very fun game and it's available for both Android and iOS devices. You have to try it out.

Action games are my favorite. Nothing beats playing a shooter after a long day at work and letting your problems fly away with your bullets. It's good to relax and contrary to popular belief I don't think it makes people violent

The role-playing genre of video games are definitely my favorite. Truth be told, I play video games not only as a form of entertainment and stress relief, but as a healthy (well, kind of healthy) form of escapism. Sometimes you just need a break from the stress and misery you're surrounded by in the world we live in, and what better way to do so than to jump into another world? Role-playing games are much more immersive than any other genre, and they do the best job of convincing you that you've really stepped into someone else's shoes.

I am more or less into horror games. And this may include survival games too. I like them. Because they bring the most speed out of the genre. As you can see those are some good games genres out there. And not a lot about those genres make sense because often they lack the plot. But here the speed matters the most. You have to work really hard to get the most out of the games. You have to survive afterall. That's the game genre is all about.

I clicked on RPG, but actually I have to say MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online role playing game). I like playing with other people. I like group content like dungeons, raiding, and team PvP. I like meeting and interacting with other players too. You can still do your own thing when you're in the mood, but it's nice having other people around to do stuff with too.

No matter how old I get, Mario will always be my all time favorite. This gaming genre holds so many of my lovely childhood memories that it will always remain my love. Though the game has shown a drastic change over all these years, I still prefer to play it and recall my childhood memories.

I really like action games with a bit of suspense. Max Payne, for example, is one of the best games I've ever played and I'm very much a fan of this game. In addition to this genre, I also really like racing games and a bit of strategy games.

I like fighting games although I wouldn't say it is my favorite. I think my favorite genre jumps from one to the other depending on what I like at the time, but mostly just what type of genre the game I discover is. Most of the time I do like hack and slash type games when it comes to single player games and as for multiplayer ones I gravitate more towards fighting games so I guess those would be my favorites. I think it would be easier to pinpoint which genres I don't like.

Personally, I'm a hardcore sports addict, especially when it comes to football (Soccer), I live and breath it. In fact it's my second life, I would easily give up anything just for the sake of watching football or playing online football soccer games.

Recently, I started playing an online football soccer manager game called Top Eleven football manager. This game have practically won over my heart and I seriously doubt if I would ever stop playing it in my lifetime.

I'm 28 years now and I have seen those that are above 68 years still very much addicted like myself in playing the game. So therefore, I would say it's not about the age but the satisfaction the football soccer game offers.

If it ain't soccer I'm not in bruh. Like the poster above me said, I'm a soccer fan, I love playing football games, and if I'm not playing soccer games then I'm playing actions but it's very rare to see me not playing soccer gamers, it's really hard and not feasible though, because I so much love soccer games.

I love to play RPG games. I want to interact with everyone online. I want to choose my own character. I want to feel like I'm the one that's on the game itself. For me, it's better to play RPG than other genres.

I'm not sure what you call it. Maybe it's action adventure, but I have to say that Mario and Donkey Kong represent the games I really enjoy, and they would be followed by racing games (Mario Kart
etc.) and then sports games (Madden Football etc.). Anyway, I have never been much into other types - but perhaps they would grow on me if I tried them.

I always like Role Playing Game games I enjoy walking through the story while playing, that's why the story line is always important to me. I also prefer those games where I can make a choice and that will lead me to different paths or endings, that's just fun. I can't get myself to play sports games or strategy games, I just can't manage to play them no matter how hard I try. I do play puzzle games and some simple games sometimes, as playing RPG games takes lots of time.

Realistic games are the kind of games I played. I played all the versions of NBA2k to the present. I don't like fantasy games for me it is just too boring and i fee like it is going to take so much of your time. I'm also a fan of GTA5 it is a firs person type of game and again I got hook to it because it is realistic and the scenes and the mission from this video game can happen in real life too.

I have played mostly shooting and racing but I also liked some other genre like simulation and strategy. Maybe I will just go for sports since I enjoyed so much the NBA computer game that I played a long time ago. During that time, I was playing NBA and Counterstrike with my colleagues in the office during the break time hours. It was part of our job to test the hardware and software so you can imagine the fun that we had. And although the gaming was not really for entertainment, we enjoyed those times.

I love story based games like Final Fantasy. I have played several games in that series and the Seventh installation was the best for me. I have always loved role playing games ever since I was a child. Magics and skills are what I always look for in games. Diablo II was also a great game and it was even a phenomenal game of its time. Now the era of smartphones introduced some role playing games and I have played some even when the era of smartphones are just about to start.

Dragon Warrior / Dragon Quest series. I've been playing them since about the mid 1990s although I only really liked them up until DQ6. They're a 100% turn-based RPG and have so much replay value.. there's so many different ways to beat them again once you've beaten them once and I could spend more than an entire lifetime exploring all the combinations.
