When last did you get for medical checkup?
Health is wealth as the wise people will always say and this means that the greatest wealth that someone can have is the state of good health. To always ensure that we are in that stable state of health, visiting the hospital is one that is essential at least once in every three months. Some people are too busy that they have not visited the hospital this year, are you one of them or you often have a regular checkup?

I try to get a medical check up at least once a year. I think that it is good to know where you are with your health. I think that this is a very important thing of preventive health. If you know when your body is not right than you can do something about it straight away and stop whatever is wrong with your body. I would advise you to make this a practice in your life, put it on your to do list.

True true. I have been making this objective each and every year but it seems like I have a habit of not making it a priority. I think I should aim to make it the first thing I do each and every start of the year.

I agree that an annual check up is a must especially as we age forward. Our health is sometimes set aside if we do not feel any symptoms yet. It's a good idea to put it on your calendar reminder.

Yes, at least once a year is a very good thing already. Especially if you're not feeling anything. It's just good to be assured that you're body is still doing well.

I have a full body checkup every year to make sure I am perfectly alright. The clinics provide good discounts on full body checkups and it is good to get your body tested for probable infections or diseases and to make sure all your organs are intact and functioning properly.

Nice. I wish that I lived in such an accoodative nation. AT my place the hospitals have developed a sense of inhumanity where they tend to overcgharge even the most basic services like consultation. It leaves such things like checkups to be a preserve of the rich.

There are really hospitals and doctors who charge to much. You can't even complain because they are the ones who help you greatly with your health. Also, health is wealth, so, I have to spend my money.

Oh man, I haven’t gotten a physical checkup in something like seven years I believe. The last time I had to get a physical was when I went to college, and that was when I was 19 years old. It’s been seven years since I went to college, so yeah, it’s been quite a while.

I’m pretty overdue for a checkup, but the truth is that I just don’t feel like it’s necessary for me. I eat a healthy diet, I exercise regularly, I’ve gotten sick maybe twice in last five years, and I just generally feel great. If I felt the signs and symptoms that there is something up with me, then I’d go see a doctor for a checkup—I’m not so foolish as to ignore even minor symptoms. But until then, I’m good.

I also went to get checked up as I was enrolling in college and I had to pass the medical test and also give a history of my health data. Heck that was also the time that I spent a long time (up to an hour) in a hospital.

I am one of those people who have the privilege of having a regular check up or general check up every year. Most people in our country especially those that are financially incapable avoid going to hospital unless it was a serious matter. The very common reason why they don't go to hospital is because they don't have enough money for the hospitalization. They even struggling to get money for their food. So, as much as possible they will avoid getting hospitalized. Another reason is they are afraid to know their condition. Many people don't go to hospital because of that reason. However, I salute the President for pushing the National Health Care Bill. In this bill, every Filipino is entitled for a free or discounted health care. They don't need to worry anymore about the hospital Billings because of this bill.

Wow. That is awesome. It seems like your president really has a heart for his people and is connected well. it is always a great thing for such things to be introduced to help all the common citizens that lack the basic funds to pay for the health services.

Well, I certainly think that it is a very good practice to get a health check-up done at a hospital at least once every year even if you are very Healthy and don't have any symptoms of any illness. It is always better to prevent things from going wrong in the first place before getting sick. There has been a growing trend of people getting diagnosed with diseases like Diabetes and heart problems at a very young age. Its always better to be on the safer side and get yourself tested at least once every year.

Yeeah yeeah prevention is always better than curing especially with matters regarding our health where a little illness can spread to other parts and develop into a serious disease within a matter of days or weeks without early detection.

That's correct. It is god to have regular check up for prevention but on the contrary, some of us does not have enough money for check ups and sometimes doctors in the city clinic are not around.

About 5 years for me for a proper physical. Life just gets in the way! I do need to make it a priority though and this has reminded me to make some time and schedule an appointment.

I just got my medical check up 2 weeks ago. I have been having these strong coughs and colds so I really needed to check if I got anything wrong with me. But as it seems, I just got the season flu.

When I experience this, I usually just self-diagnose myself and buy over the counter pills at my nearest drug store. I save maybe $6 - $10 by not going to the doctor. But if I really don't have any idea what's wrong with me, visiting doctor quack is a must.

I had my last medical check up like a 6 months ago. I just do it yearly. It's good to have a yearly check up (if you're not having problems with your health). It's still important to monitor how your body is holding on.

The last time I got a check was when my feet cramped and I cannot walk normally. I only get check ups when I feel sick which is a bad practice. Even healthy individuals should get chep ups once a year just to make sure.

Yes, it's a bad practice. But, it's very relatable. People nowadays are very busy and sometimes, some don't have money. That's why they tend to skip medical check-ups, until they feel something bad.

I did my medical check up 2 years ago.I consult my ear because it hurts so much everytime I cough or I have cold.

Oh man, your situation reminds me of an ear wax removal video I saw at YouTube days ago. Is that what you experienced? It's satisfying to watch though.

The last time I had my medical checkup was January 2018 and the next one will be on January 2019. I always visit my doctor for an annual checkup every first month of the year. I believe that it is really important to have your health checked regularly and to consult a doctor immediately whenever you feel something that is not normal. Prevention is always better than cure.

Actually it's been a long time since our last checkup. And for me it's good for all of us to have a regular checkup than never. And it also help people to have a knowledge about it's condition. And stay healthy guys. Haha.

When last did you get medical check up: Since I am pregnant now I had my check recently but i do really get a medical check up once a year even I didn't feel anything in my body. It is for me to be sure in whole year round that I am aware of what is the status of my physical side. I am not doing this for my self but for my family in whole.

Unfortunately, l only ever go to the hospital when I'm feeling ill. I've never been to the hospital just to have a checkup and I know that is bad but it's sort of a way of life here in my country to only go to the hospital when something isn't quite right. Perhaps l should make it a goal in 2019 to go for a checkup at least once. I will add it to my list and work towards it. Checkups are good because they help detect abnormalities in your body function early and early detection has saved a lot of lives.

Yes, many people only go to the hospital when it is absolutely necessary. In some countries that is necessitated by lack of financial capability to go to a hospital and pay for medical bills. It is a good habit of having a full body check up once in a while but for those who are not capable they wait for government assistance that sometimes may never come until it is too late.

I do it once a year. It is mandatory in our company. It is scary as hell because you know you are having a bad lifestyle and abusing your health most of the time. Everyone takes advantage of their health. It is just up to us how to make up for it. I am 30 and scared to be diagnosed with something critical. If i can go back in time I would take care of myself more and do monthly check ups. It is easier to prevent than to cure.

I admit that I'm one of those who doesn't get checked up regularly by medical experts. But when I get older, I'll change my ways and try to see a doctor twice a year to get a body workup.

I think it is also because of our culture. Its just not the norm here in our country. My parents didn't get yearly check ups until they were in their 60s and I was the one who pushed them on going and even assisted them so that they would go. Same as you I think when we get older we will have no choice but to have our regular check ups.

I am lucky with the medical checkup because we have an annual checkup courtesy of our company. That is one of the benefits of being employed in a big company. My recent checkup was 2 months ago and the only issue is the cholesterol level and also my weight. I was advised to go on a diet to lose 30 pounds. Oh my, that is a tall order considering that it is the holiday season and the festive atmosphere comes with the abundance of food on the dining table.

I had my last medical check-up when I got sick two years ago. I don't usually go to the doctor and I hate hospitals because I had a lot of unpleasant memories in that place. I do believe health is wealth and I strongly agree that we should occasionally have a medical checkup. Prevention is always better than cure and early diagnosis is the key to fight disease.

I had my last full body check-up two years ago and I know I am due for another one. Aside from those ones I regularly have my blood sugar level checked twice a year ever since I unusually had diabetes as a young adult. The doctor said it was unusual for a 24 year old to be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I currently don't need to take any medication for it and just needs to be careful about my food intake.

I have to admit that I have net yet scheduled for check up lately. It was long ago when I had to as I had a fever at that time but I think it was 2014 when I had my last checked up. In 2015, I went to emergency due to abdominal pain and found out i had a gastritis and was confine for three days long.

I can't even remember because I don't know... I feel okay? All I can remember is I went to have my blood tested because I might be anemic and the doctor wanted to check if I'm showing signs of improvements. Dental health however is what I prioritize right now because when a tooth is gone, it's now gonna grow back but thanks for being like a reminder though, I might go for a medical checkup just to make sure everything's really fine.

Last year, I should be getting one yearly because I'm keeping track of my ovarian cysts. I haven't been on a check up due to financial reasons. It would be best to go specially if one has issues that needs to be constantly checked. I'm not sure if my cysts are something that I need to regularly check though.

I think that the last time I went to doctor was when I had a pain in my stomach. The doctors said to me that my appendix needed to be removed as soon as possible. So, they performed an operation on me and removed my appendix. I stayed in hospital seven days before they decided to let me go home. That was two years ago. Since then, I have not been sick and had no reason to go to see a doctor.

I don't do regular check-ups. I only see a doctor when needed. I just thank God that I don't have any sickness and can enjoy life to the fullest. But I know that regular check-up is a must.
