Which Little Debbie Would You Say Get Rid of?

Little Debbie may have the possibility of getting rid of one of their snack cakes. Yesterday the company posted a picture with the saying "One Gotta Go Forever" Below this , it listed pictures of the Christmas Tree Cakes, Nutty Buddy Bars, Oatmeal Cream Pies, and Honey Buns. Underneath this, it simply said "Which One?"

I find it hard to believe that they would want to get rid of any of them. I feel that the Nutty Buddy bars and Oatmeal Cream Pies are sort of iconic. They have been around for ages and just taste really good. The Christmas Tree Cakes are similar to their other snack cakes, so if they did get rid of these, I do not think that it would be that big of a deal. I am not a huge fan of Honey Buns, so honestly if they got rid of them, it would not break my heart. But I do know that there are several out there that do like them.

So which one would you not care if they got rid of?

It is hard to choose from these four because they are all pretty good. The trees ones are only a special treat sold for Christmas so they look cute on Christmas sweet trays. A lot of people buy them for that reason. I do not see them ever getting rid of them. I like the honey buns occasionally. My favorite of all the Little Debbie's is the Swiss Rolls. They are the only ones i would be disappointed about if they got rid of them.

If I had to choose which one to get rid of out of these four, I would sat to ditch the Honey Buns. They always seem a bit dry to me, and there is nothing really exciting about them. The other choices, including the classic Oatmeal Creme Pie, are much tastier and moist, and I grew up with these flavors since childhood. I am pretty surprised by this poll in terms of how many people would want to get rid of the Christmas Tree Cakes; I always thought that those were delicious with a tall cold glass of milk!

We certainly agree with a lot of stuff, but this one is 100% true. While I was studying in US, had the chance to taste these buns, and they were really dry. Also, they looked so delicious, and they were supposed to be honey buns, I was desperate to eat one, and they were anything but moist and sweet. I felt kind of disappointed, because I was expecting more from those.

You and I do agree on a lot of subjects. which I have also noticed, in many of the forums. I used to eat these a lot when I was younger from a vending machine where I worked in a retail establishment. They seemed ok back then, but I must have just been starving or something, lol. I tried one again out of nostalgia just a few months ago, and I thought it tasted awful. I am sure that my tastes have matured over the years, and my "sweet tooth" seems to be waning, but there was no mistake that the bun was dry and did not really have the flavor that I seemed to remember that it had in my youth.

This is literally impossible for me to choose from because I have never seen or ate the Little Debbie products in my life. Our country doesn't get them so the only thing that I have seen are pictures of it. But just based on the flavors from the names, I think that I'd choose to get rid of are the Honey Buns - since it's honey I assume that they might be quite sweet? and I read in the above comment that they're dry which is really not too good. I like very creamy sort of snacks.

I am not crazy about the honeybuns either so getting rid of those would be fine as far as I am concerned. I am not necessarily crazy about the oatmeal cream pies either, but most of the Little Debbie items are pretty good. I don't have a problem with them. They are certainly affordable treats.

Oatmeal cream pies. I used to be served those in after school program as a kid. They were terrible - tasted terrible.

Well! I would have never thought it would have been so hard to choose a Little Debbie cake to get rid of! I only voted for Hone Buns because I was following the crowd. LOL.

I have no comment which snack will be phased out because we don’t have that kind of snack cakes here. Although I have tasted that brand, I think it is an oat meal pie, I don’t remember the distinct taste. It was a homecoming gift from a relative on vacation here from the US. But I know that the Little Debbie brand is popular there so maybe the children will be missing that snack food which will be phased out.
