Who Has the Best Fries?

Who Has the Best Fries?
Arby's fries are my favorite. I would eat nothing but their curly fries if I could and they're especially good with various sauces. What fast food restaurant has your favorite fries. If you don't eat fast food fries do you make your own? My aunt made sweet potato fries the other day and they were amazing! I don't discriminate when it come to fries. Haha

Hello Have a wonderful day.

Fast food is also my favorite. On Bangladesh there have chain fast food shop on capital. Like KFC, BFC, Helvatia and many others. I love chicken fires every time I go to the fast food. Some times I try to make it home . But there have a taste of professional makers.

Thanks Centurion

I have tried KFC Fries and the McDonalds fries. I think with peri peri masala, only the McDonalds fries are lot better. You may also want to consider fries from places like burger king. But not a lot of those restaurants have a good taste. So it just comes down to McDonalds and KFC for me. I also try some of the local shops and it can be fun to have those shops for the change of the taste some of the time there as well. I may look at that in future.

I wonder why you did not mention the fries of Burger King? It is one good fries that my husband said to be real potatoes. Now that statement makes me wonder if the fries of McDonalds are not real potatoes. I have read in an article that some fast food have synthetic potatoes for their fries and to be frank about it, I haven’t noticed those fries to be fake or authentic.

The best fries that I have eaten are from McDonald's. I did try to have fries at other fast food restaurants but I still find McDonald's fries to be the best. I do make fries at home too and I even tried to make sweet potato fries. Even though those homemade fries are not as tasty as those fries available at restaurants I loved it.

I have to agree with the original poster that Arby's fries are the best. Jack in the Box is the only other fast food chain I know of that has curly fries, but they simply aren't as good. (Which is a real shame, because Jack in the Box's food is overall better than Arby's.)

As a teenager I used to love McDonald's French fries, but now I find them too oily and soggy. I love 5 guys and burger fries, the Cajun style. They are so delicious and I love the spicy flavor.

There is this place called Buffalo Burger that I think has really great fries. I've only heard of the place in Egypt so not really sure where else it exists. In the US my favorite fries most definitely are from checkers. They have the most delicious seasoning salt on their fries that just makes them ascend past anything related to French fries. Their apple pies are also the bomb since they stuck with the fried apple pie instead of the baked ones. But yeah the fries are to die for.

For me when it comes to fries it is KFC. I love it also that their fries are firm and sliced thickly. And the taste is so delicious. I can eat two big boxes. I love it more than their chicken actually.

I love all fast food fries XD

But if I had to choose, I'd probably say KFC's wedges or McDonald's fries. They're amazing even though I know those two chains don't have the best reputation. I also like the curly fries at Jack in the Box, but those can be a hit or miss depending on if they're fresh.

McDonald's have always had the best french fries. They always taste good. I have never had bad fries at McDonalds. Other fried I like are any place that makes their own fries. Home cut fries are the always the best.

Wedges are good too if they are cooked right. Some places under cook them which I don't like. We have a chicken place here that uses the batter they use on their chicken on their wedges too. Their wedges are so good. They are probably the best that I have ever had. I do there often just to buy their wedges. They are a meal in themselves.

Lately I have been eating sweet potato fries when I go to a restaurant with the thai type dipping sauce. They have become my favorite. Again they have to be cooked just right.

Checkers is one of my favorite places to get french fries and my second favorite place is Arby's. I also love to get french fries from McDonald's, they are always crisp and salty. I usually like fries from all restaurants except Burger King. Burger King has the worst fries ever.

Well, best fries have always been home made and no fast food restaurant can beat those. You know the ones you make from the actual potato and not the frozen kind? that's so delicious. My favorite fast food fries are probably the Mcdonald's kind. We don't have a wide variety of different fast food chains here so my options are a bit limited.

However, I love those Mcdonalds fries even more than their burgers. They taste so good and you literally can't stop eating them. I also love their new kind that they've added, where it's like a baked potato shaped? I don't know the name of it but it's yummy! I always put some mayo or ketchup on top and it's heavens. You made me want to go eat some right now.

I'm gonna say Burger King. I just like them, I know a lot a people don't, but they appeal to my tastes, which are probably a little off. They are a little more oily tasting, which I like. Other fast food chains always taste like meat, which is something I don't want when I taste a fry.

Personally, McDonalds and Arby's are my favorite places to get fries. They have both consistently put out golden, crunchy, crispy, and tasty fries over the years. My mom is also good at making delicious fries! I remember the first time I tasted McDonald's fries. It was like heaven in my mouth, I've been hooked ever since!

This poster has good taste and has a strong fry game! I agree that Arby's has the best fries. McDonald's is a close second, but if you get fries there and they aren't fresh, they aren't so great. I find with Arby's, even if they aren't super fresh they are still good. Plus, you can't beat dipping a curly fry in some horsey sauce. Mmmmm

I do not often eat McDonalds, but I think their french fries are the best! My next favorite would have to be In & Out.
Posted by simplym on 06-14-2017
I totally agree! I love Arby's curly fries. They are crispy, seasoned, and yet soft on the inside. The curly shape is fun to eat, too! A close second for me is Bojangle's fries because they are also nicely seasoned. You can't beat a serving of good, hot french fries!

I'd say that I enjoy a lot of places' fries; they tend to be my weakness as far as food goes. I find Wendy's fries are a bit unique, though - I enjoy the partial skin on them. Arby's are enjoyable too, but then, curly fries aren't generally easy to come by here.

It's easier for me to mention fries I dislike; I'm not too fond of Burger King's fries. Their fries feel like they can't decide what they want to be; I like eating crispy, thin fries or nicely seasoned steak fries (kind of like KFC's), but Burger King's feels like they want to play it both ways. For people who like softer fries, good on them, but I'm not the fondest of that style (I'll still eat them though).

I don't really eat fast food anymore but up until I stopped I had tried fries from every fast food chain available. I have to say, that without a single doubt in my mind, McDonald's fries have hands down always tasted the best. First off there is their size and texture. Because of the way they are cut it allows for the perfect balance of crunch and tenderness. If a fry is too big, you get more of one or the other. Then there is the flavor, they are seasoned just the right amount and I don't know if it's the potatoes themselves or some other secret ingredient but their fries have a distinct flavor to them that just cannot be replicated.

They may not be gourmet, but they are a perfect junk food.

My mother makes fries at home and they are so good and tasty but most important they are full of hygiene and made with love. I can have it as many i want LOL. Sometimes i tried to add some Ketchup/ Tomato Sauce to it to make it more tasty and it works very well. This is my evening snack most of the times.

Out of all the major fast food restaurants, I definitely prefer McDonald's fries. McDonald's is the only place I would specifically go if I wanted fries. I like that they are crispy and thin and nicely seasoned as well. At every other place I've been to, either the seasoning is not as good as McDonald's or their fries are soggy and not the right texture for me. I particularly dislike KFC's potato wedges, they are not crispy at all.

This is the easiest question I have ever heard of. There are two special places that have the best fries and these are McDonalds and KFC. From these two, my favorite fries are the ones from the McDonalds. No one knows the recipe for these fries and this makes them better than all the others!

I am not a big fan of fast food fries, to be honest. I prefer to make them at home. You can add whatever you like and as much as you like. And it will most likely come off tastier and cheaper. Add lots of cheese, bacon and as much ketchup and mustard as you like!

If I am going to pick a place with the best fast food fries in my area, I would have to say that I love the curly fries at Arby's. A close second to those are the crispy fries from Dairy Queen. They almost seem to have that "twice-fried" texture and crunch. Wendy's fries tend to be over-salted, in my opinion, and McDonald's fries can go either way; however, the Arby's fries and Dairy Queen fries seem to be consistent to me. At better establishments above fast food, I can find incredible french fry options, but if I focus just on fast food, I would say that these places meet my preferences.

I do like Arbys curly fries. They are so good. Mostly though I prefer fries from places to make them fresh and not use frozen fries. I like when they slice the potatoes right there. Theynare just so crispy and good and way better then any frozen fries.

KFC and McDonald Fries are good but I think my fries are the best because I don't have to spend a lot of money on fries when I can make it easily in my home. Making my own fries also saves a lot of money.

We have here a competition of McDonald’s which is called Jollibee, the most popular fast food outlet in our country. Both their fries are even in quality and I’m sorry to say that even if they are 2 most popular fast food, I don’t relish their fries. For me, the best fries is that of Burger King. It is made of real potatoes and the taste is even much better than the other fries in the market. And although Burger King fries are more expensive, the cost doesn’t matter to me as long as I eat what I want.

Here in my country, I love kfc and mcdonald’s. I love how the mcdonald fries taste and it not super greasy. The kfc fries in my country has some kind of breading which makes the fries more delicious.

Gosh - it’s a hard choice! The best I’ve ever had though? A burger chain in Australia called Grill’d. Their fries are seasoned with this yummy herb blend that contains rosemary and a host of other tasty stuff - they’re addictive!
