Wireless Computer Keyboard

Wireless Computer Keyboard
Ever since the invention of computers, innovation keeps coming in to make every piece of computer hardware more fancier and portable for the user to have freedom when using the devices. This led to the invention or building of wireless computer keyboards which allows the user to communicate with computers, laptops and tablets with the help of Bluetooth, infrared and radio frequency.

Wireless Keyboard are based of infrared technology. It uses radio frequency of 27MHz to 2.4 GHz. Uses Bluetooth technology via Bluetooth protocol. It's gives freedom to computer users not to fixed at a point in the work station.

Signals maybe have limited reach if you go too far. May have interferences. More expensive.

I understand that there are quite a few disadvantages and problems with using wireless computer keyboards. But I just love them. It leaves your desk clean and not a mess. And they look great too. I'm just not a huge fan of wires.

Wireless Keyboard

I love bluetooth keyboards. I used a wired keyboard at home, but a wireless one at work, and it's wonderful. There aren't any cords that get tangled, and I don't have any connectivity issues with it either. Overall, I think it's easier to use and just better in general. Personal opinion!

Can't Beat the Convenience

The CON that you stated is very true. However, my kids use all kinds of wireless technology and that includes the wireless keyboard. I rarely hear them complain. It's great for mobility.
Posted by cmoneyspinner on 08-04-2018

I prefer wireless keyboards because they are more convenient. As much as the change is only very little like there's only one wire to remove, that small change actually accounts for a lot. Not only can I move the keyboard around more and not be afraid of tripping anything and also I can move away from the monitor if I really wanted to, but also if I needed to, I could use the wireless keyboard to type on my tablet or phone and that's another thing that a wired keyboard can't do.
Posted by Wubwub on 08-05-2018

Definitely Better

Wireless Computer Keyboard seems to be the most convenient computer system hardware that makes the use of computer more easier and better. To not worry about cable connection and use radio frequency or Bluetooth protocol to connect the keyboard to the computer for your data input is far more effective and efficient.
Posted by Martinsx on 07-31-2018

Everything wireless is better for me because they are portable and don't need to be plugged in constantly, they are also reliable now compared to before so there's no issue of delay in performance.
Posted by treecko142 on 08-09-2018

Easier and more portable

For me, ease and portability are huge. Being able to interchange the device to allow its use for tablets, laptops, or standard computers is a convenience that I really appreciate.
Posted by amelia88 on 07-31-2018

Comfortable to use

With the wireless Keyboard the user has the choice of sitting or standing or even relaxing in any comfortable position of his choice to use the wireless keyboard to do what they want to do.

Unlike the wired keyboard that when they get entangled can loss connection with the PC, the wireless key board o not face that situation and the user can relax and use it without straining his hands or the back because with the wireless keyboard they can sit in the position of their choice and do as they want with the keys.

Posted by Kwesi on 08-24-2018

Easier to use

I prefer a wireless keyboard because it is easier to use. I could use it while lying, sitting or even standing lesser restrictions unlike wired keyboard that I have to consider the length of the wire. Also, I could use this to connect with my phone and tablet which could be convenient to me rather than using the keyboard of phone on the screen itself. Although one of the disadvantages is that it may have interruption causing to the entry to be delayed unlike wired that the connection is reliable. But over all, I still prefer wireless keyboard because it is convenient to use especially for thos people who change their position while typing.
Posted by ajahcuizon on 08-21-2018

Welcoming the wireless keyboard technology here. It is good as it never interferes with ports for fixing hardware on your computer. It comes in handy and I think it is very convenient.

Invention keeps on expanding and we herald the new moves. I hope more inventions should come aboard.

Posted by stbrians on 08-21-2018

I think it better to use the wireless computer because you will not have to worry about the wire. The wire of the keyboard are really sensitive so it is really a hassle. So paying more for the wireless keyboard is not a problem because it gives a better performance. I can also start typing to a more better position when working.
Posted by Zelmontero on 08-27-2018

Invaded by cables

As the technology gets better, I believe that we must utilize that advantage. I am a fannof wireless keyboard because I am not invaded by cables. Cables for charger, mouse, headset, LAN, and many more. It would be very nice if I could minimize the use of cables around my laptop or personal computers. It lessens all the clutter I already have.
Posted by anchoreztin on 09-14-2018

wireless is less hassle

having too many cables bungling in my computer annoys me alot. Having youe keyboard wireless makes your desk looks neat and tidy.
Posted by bee.rthooyah on 09-18-2018

I like using the wireless keyboard

I think wireless keyboard is a blessing when you have to sit for a long time Infront of the computer. At least you are able to have some mobility and still be able to work with the wireless keyboards. I think it's always good to adopt new technology and take advantage of it as far as one can. Although it is more costlier than the wired keyboard, it does give you some amount of comfort and mobility, so I will always go for a wireless keyboard.
Posted by jpk0007 on 10-11-2018

Wireless for me

I hate cords. I hate it when it gets tangled. I hate that it makes my space messy. That’s why I like wireless keyboard better. Using wireless keyboard I can put it in my lap while working and just put it back to my desk after I’m finished. My space also look a bit cleaner. It has a disavantage and a tad more expensive but it look so much nicer.

Wired Computer keyboard

Wired Computer keyboard
The wired computer keyboards were the first original computer hardware that was introduced to the world which comes with a wire that is connected to the system unit and it comes with a wired mouse as well.

It's cheaper compared to wireless Keyboard. It's what's commonly used by both desktop computers users. It can be repaired and replaced easily.

There wires when entangled may disrupt the connection to the system unit. It confines the user at the computer workstation.

Wired is more reliable

At the end of the day you need something that is trustworthy and that works and wireless things maybe practical, but are less reliable.

I think it's easier to deal with issues than with a wireless one and troubleshooting can have so many other factors with a wireless keyboard. Given the choice I would have wired always.

Posted by Alexa on 10-25-2018

No need for batteries

A wireless keyboard needs batteries in order to work. Some use disposable batteries and some use rechargeable batteries. This is a bit of a hassle for me. I don't want to use a keyboard that I need to recharge every now and then. This is why I prefer a wired computer keyboard. There's no need to recharge it or to change the batteries. Enough said. :)
Posted by limberg on 10-09-2018

I have both but for my standard desktop computer, the wired keyboard is simply the best option. Imagine playing a game or typing out something important for your business then the keyboard running out of batteries. That's extremely annoying.

Therefore, the wired option is more reliable and convenient. You just plug it in and done.

Posted by Mehano on 08-17-2018

I have seen the wired keyboard to perform better. Also it does not die on you when the battery runs out. There does not seem to be much benefit from the keyboard. You can see that keyboard which are mechanical are lot better over the wireless one.
Posted by overcast on 08-07-2018

In my opinion wired keyboards are way better, because if you are playing a game competitevly for example, if the keyboard has batteries they might run off and you'll lose a game, which might be important. It can also be annoying when it loses signal for one reason or another.
Posted by manmad on 09-24-2018

Because of some technical reasons, I would say that making use of wired computer keyboard is a better choice for me. The maintenance of having a wireless one is something that I am not really ready to go through at the moment and we should be serious about that.
Posted by Barida on 08-01-2018

Wired for now

I'm going to choose wired keyboards for now up until they develop a wireless self charging keyboard. The problem with wireless keyboards nowadays is its power and reach, it drains quickly and if you move it just a few feet away, it would lag and is susceptible to interference.
Posted by Kakashi2020 on 07-31-2018

Simple and Cool

This one is where i'm used too. Lesser problem too and if act fast with the sensitivity.
Posted by MomoStarr16 on 08-06-2018

Efficiency is always good

I have used a wireless keyboard ones and it really works as it should be. One problem though is when the battery starts to deplete, i have problems with connectivity and efficiency as it cause delays and hangups. Also there is a problem in connectivity specially when you have devices that emits radio frequency.
Posted by fishbate on 07-31-2018

I still preferred the wired one because it performs well and I easily get pissed off when something suddenly don't run. Also, I don't really mind if wired keyboard makes my station look cleaner or not as long as I can use it perfectly fine then I still prefer to use it.
Posted by mitan143 on 09-15-2018

More reliable

I mainly use my computer for work and gaming. I can't have my keyboard or mouse having input lag. There are cases where the mouse or keyboard doesn't respond when you are using wireless. You would also have to worry about battery life because it might costs you the game when you are playing online.
Posted by EfficientNinja on 09-01-2018

Cheaper but useful.

With the current inflation and the small salary I get every month, I don't think it's convenient to buy computer accessories that are too expensive like the wireless keyboard. Although they're cool, I prefer to be economical and practical because both wireless and wired keyboards have the same use and performance tho (at least for me).
Posted by jaybee19 on 10-05-2018

Easier to use

It is easy for me to use wired mouse compared to wireless. I used to it and for me its more comfortable than wireless.
Posted by mark86 on 08-04-2018

I vote for what i have been used to

Wired versions are very popular in my country since they are cheap. A keyboard unlike a mouse may not be required to be moved around a lot and hence a wired one will do. I go with wired for now since they are a cheaper alternative.
Posted by Martin on 08-01-2018

Wired All The Way

One con of using wireless keyboards is the fact that sometimes, wireless just doesn't work. In my experience, I had connection issues and random disconnection from time to time. What drives me nuts is the battery life of these wireless keyboards. There's no warning that the battery is low and would just stop working.
Posted by rlpzbeermoney on 09-17-2018

Wired all the way

I'm a gamer and I usually don't prefer wireless as it could be detrimental when you're gaming. There should not be any interference or delay when playing a game especially if it's online and multiplayer. Every second counts and wired has a quicker response time than a wireless.
Posted by kinja90 on 09-06-2018

Cheaper but better

Wires can really disrupt our typing with this type of keyboard but tgere are ways in avoiding it. Like proper postitioning of wiring, having care in the cables so that it won't get tangled up etc. We can really rely in this type of keyboard because it is available anytime. It does not have a battery so you can use it annytime and anywhere.
Posted by Gilgamesh on 09-19-2018

Wired Keyboard

Both are great to use and in the end, have the same function. However, one thing I like about using a wired keyboard is the fact that I do not have to spend so much on batteries the whole time.
Posted by NerdIndeed on 10-04-2018

I just like things tied down

My preference is for a wired keyboard. I seem to lost things, even wireless keyboards, quite easily. To this day I am sure I bought one at some point and cannot find it. I suppose you have to deal with the wires, but if you have a PC in one place anyway, it should not be a problem. The other thing that makes me prefer a wired keyboard is that you do not have to connect to the wireless/broadband to use it.
Posted by HappyLady on 10-06-2018

I believe it's more practical to purchase a wired computer keyboard. The price is not that expensive, and honestly, I think that majority of people use keyboard in front of the computer monitor. So, it's just close to the CPU, and it also makes sense that you use wired keyboard. Better purchase something that you can afford, and again, it's best to be practical nowadays.
Posted by theresajane on 10-09-2018

I just can't stand anything wireless

I am a strong supporter of anything that is wired, I just can't find myself wanting or needing a wired device to become wireless. I feel like having a wired connection makes everything more reliable and secure, plus there is no risk of being out of juice when you need it. The setup for a wired device is also usually immediate and easy, no need for HUBs or adapters, just the cable and the keyboard, nothing else needed.
Posted by SevenCatsInn on 10-10-2018

Less hassle

In the light of innovations, where our gadgets are getting more and more complex, there is always one area that lose a point: Battery/power supply. When it comes to add-on that I can use just by plugging vs the things I need to charge every now and then when using, I would still prefer the wired one. Specially keyboards. This is an important tool for the writers and a keyboard dying out in the middle of inspiration flow may disrupt the whole article. Wired keyboards would definitely avoid that.
Posted by emiaj55 on 10-17-2018

More practical

For everyday use I would say the difference between wireless and wired keyboards does not really matter. But when playing video games the small input lag can actually be very noticable.
Posted by Jstreeter26 on 11-03-2018

Better at gaming

Wired keyboard are more responsive than wireless keyboard. In addition, you won't have the trouble of your keyboard suddenly not responding just because the battery went empty. It's pretty annoying that you will lose a match because your keyboard was suddenly off, especially if you are a serious gamer. Wired keyboard gives you more security when it comes to gaming.
Posted by hstinscdln on 11-03-2018

Easy to manage and highly convinient

Managing a wired computer keyboard is much easier, compared to a wireless keyboard. Besides, a wired computer keyboard is very convenient. I only need to connect to a PC or laptop and that's all.
Posted by Focusedwriter10 on 11-04-2018

Wired is power

The wired keyboard is my onto keyboard always. Yes, I understand that the wireless keyboard is a great idea and solution for wiring problems but once you are not aware that your keyboard is on low or the signal seems to not be working then you got a problem. Wired keyboards are very strong and useful and will always be at the top of our generation unless the new generation will make more wireless keyboards to be of use.
Posted by YoloBoy on 11-12-2018

Wired keyboards are efficient and do their jobs. You don't have to worry about running out of batteries. Also, I am not bothered with its wires.
Posted by clarisseblogs on 11-15-2018

Cheaper, practical, more dependable. As much as I love the idea of dragging my keyboard (and mouse) I'm still choosing the wired version. The cons for using a wired keyboard aren't really that bad, it's just entangle issues which is easy to fix. And if it breaks, you can just buy a replacement easily.
Posted by knnon on 12-07-2018

Keyboard that is wired!

Both keyboards are great and a person has different taste when I come to keyboards some would choose wireless keyboard over a wired computer keyboard and vice versa. I simply chose a wired computer keyboard because it is cheaper than the wireless counterpart. Yes, it is cheap but it is still very functional and useful.
Posted by antonToledo on 12-13-2018

I still prefer the wired computer keyboard since it is cheaper than the wireless one and you can repair it easily and faster than the wireless one.
Posted by babyright on 07-30-2018
That's true, from a cost effectiveness point of view I can absolutely understand why wired would be preferred over wireless.
Posted by amelia88 on 08-01-2018
Exactly! The issue of familiarity and maintenance are the two major considerations that people look into before deciding to pick a wired computer keyboards or a wireless computer keyboards. So most computer users prefer using the one they are familiar with and which can be easily maintained.
Posted by Martinsx on 08-01-2018
I have never used wireless keyboards and one of the reasons why I have not used wireless keyboard is pricing. By the way I use laptops and the keybaard is not removable.
Posted by vinaya on 08-01-2018
I understand that exactly the way you said it. The price of the improved computer wireless keyboard tech is what makes most people go for the wired computer keyboards. No one should be blamed for this because they are only looking the type of gadget that they can afford and be able to maintain as well as repair when it damages.
Posted by Martinsx on 08-02-2018
If you are using a laptop, you already have an attached keyboard. However, for a desktop computer you might be thinking about wireless keyboard. However, I do not see a point in using wireless keyboard with your desktop computer, after all desktop computer is not portable.
Posted by vinaya on 08-11-2018
I would have to agree with you. I am also using a laptop and keyboard is nondetachable. It is indeed pricey using a wireless keyboard and basically signals maybe have limited reach if you go too far. May have interference for quite sometimes, too.
Posted by NesMarcos on 09-24-2018
This has always been the main reason why people prefer the wired computer keyboard it pocket friendly and afforable and very easy to maintain.Getting it fix isn't much of a problem.
Posted by lovely on 08-02-2018
Yes, you are absolutely correct with that assertion. People always try as much as possible to run from too many expenses they can afford to run from when there is an option for them to use as an alternative. So when it comes to computer keyboards, they will always seek for wired keyboard because it's going to be easier for them to manage and avoid much expenses when the keyboard becomes faulty or needs to be changed.
Posted by Martinsx on 08-17-2018
We are basically in the same boat. I also prefer the wired computer keyboard because it is a lot cheaper than the wireless one. Though it is a lot more convenient to use a wireless keyboard, wired keyboard has a lot to offer.
Posted by NesMarcos on 09-24-2018
I prefer the wireless computer keyboard but I have to agree with you that the wired keyboard is cheaper although I wouldn’t say that it is easier to repair because from what I know keyboards are not repaired. When it is broken you just have to buy a replacement since it is not really that expensive. The issue with the wireless keyword is the delay in reaction since the connection is not concrete.
Posted by Corzhens on 12-12-2018
We are still advancing our technology in this day and age and it's really much easier and futuristic if everything is wireless. Personally, wireless makes use of more power than that of the wired one but I still prefer to use the wired keyboard as it doesn't make use of the excess ports in your pc just to get it connected to bluetooth and it is much cheaper as well.
Posted by Marako0406 on 07-31-2018
I did not know wireless used more power. I use laptop and my laptop has attached keyboard. If I used a desktop still I would be using wired keyboard because do not want to spend more money on a product just because it is little advanced.
Posted by vinaya on 08-01-2018
Seriously, I'm fully embracing the technology advancement that is going on in the world currently. It looks at making things better and more easier for people. Imagine not being confined to the work station as a result of using a wireless connection to your computer. Isn't that amazing?
Posted by Martinsx on 08-02-2018
I'm using a wired one until the technology of wireless keyboards is upgraded. I'm waiting for it to have wireless charging features.
Posted by Kakashi2020 on 08-01-2018
I have read about this wireless charging feature but in iPhone. I'm not sure if it's true but I will look into it and find out whether it's true or not. A wireless charging system will be exceptionally useful.
Posted by Martinsx on 08-02-2018
People are actually more comfortable with wired computer keyboards because they are mostly used to the old technology. Some complain about one thing or another when it comes to wireless computer keyboards but it's all as simple as not being able to afford the gadget or know how to maintain it.
Posted by Martinsx on 08-01-2018
I'm more conversant with the wired keyboard, it very cheap, simple and easy to install and use.I don't think I.have never had any problem using my wired keyboard so I think it still worthwhile using it for now by me.Another thing is that it can repair easily if need be.
Posted by lovely on 08-02-2018
The advantages of using wired computer keyboards that you have just mentioned above in your comment are all spot on. It's very simple and easy to use, easily installed and very cheap to maintain. When it comes to computer keyboards repairs, the wired computer keyboards are very easy to repair when compared to wireless computer keyboards.
Posted by Martinsx on 08-03-2018
Having said that wireless computer keyboard may have limited reach of signals if going far, may have interference and may be more expensive, I think using wired computer keyboard works best for me. I work for 18-20 hours a day and I think if I'll be using a wireless computer keyboard this will be very expensive. Meanwhile the only benefit is I won't be minding of the wires connected to my main computer.
Posted by Anonymous on 08-04-2018
Yes, the interference and area reach are the two major weakness of wireless computer keyboards, if that isn't sorted out, it will hamper most people from choosing the wireless keyboard over wired keyboard. Remember that people are already more comfortable working with wired keyboard than wireless keyboard, so when the wireless keyboard isn't perfect, it would be very hard and difficult for people to drop wired computer keyboards for the wireless ones.
Posted by Martinsx on 08-14-2018

Just like Bluetooth protocol works when using it to connect one's phone to laptop, there is always a limited reach for the connection to hold, the same thing is applicable to wireless computer keyboards, when moved farther away from the the computer, its connection will be hindered.
Posted by Martinsx on 08-22-2018
I have used both. And as it is stated both have pros and cons. But I will still go for the wired keyboard. First, I was happy to use wireless keyboard as my office provide it for me, bu eventually I am not liking it. With wireless keyboard, I always have to worry about the signal. So, I have to switch with wired keyboard again. And I just gave the wireless keyboard to my officemate. Same goes for wired and wireless mouse. My husband used his wireless mouse to his laptop but he didn't like it and he just go back in using a wired one.
Posted by lei08pineda on 08-04-2018
Glad to hear that you have made use of both wired and wireless computer keyboards, at least you stand the best chance of knowing exactly which one works best for you. Some people who are yet to use both of the devices can't really know the real experience and differences between them.
Posted by Martinsx on 09-14-2018
Both have their own advantages and disadvantages, if you want more freedom and portability, go with wireless. If you prefer cheaper and and easier to use then go with the wired one. As for me I prefer the wireless one since I like to type in so many different positions and having a wireless keyboard makes it a lot easier.
Posted by neillios on 08-05-2018
Exactly, the prospect of working with freedom is what led to the development of wireless computer keyboards. So, it's the best bet when one don't feel comfortable being confined in one place to work. Wired computer keyboards are cheap and good as long as you are using it well.
Posted by Martinsx on 09-17-2018
I would have to agree with you that both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages when it comes to price, function and portability. Needless to say, we have to consider and set our priorities when choosing the best keyboard for us.
Posted by NesMarcos on 09-24-2018
Wired keyboards are more comfortable to use than those wireless one. There's no need for those wireless keyboard when we are troubling cause I'm sure what we are carrying is a laptop not a desktop unless some of our laptop keys are not working then We should go to the wireless than the wired. But overall Wired one are the best.
Posted by blackmist on 08-06-2018
The truth is that most people are used to wired computer keyboards, so they are poised to choose it over the wireless computer keyboards. People tend to frown at what they are not conversant with and it's the case with wireless computer keyboards.
Posted by Martinsx on 09-18-2018
I'm using wireless computer keyboard and mouse. this one is much more applicable for me. I'm able to use my computer even I'm laying on my bed. I used to watch some movies and videos on my computer and wireless computer and mouse helps me keep lay on the bed like I'm just using laptop. I always do my things while laying on my bed.
Posted by ion on 08-08-2018
Exactly, it's the freedom that comes with using wireless computer keyboards that makes it looks so good and intriguing to use. If you are the type of person that have a fancy desire to work with your computer system at any where possible, then it's only going to be wireless keyboard that will serve you well.
Posted by Martinsx on 09-18-2018
I think mechanical keyboards stay longer. And we can see that with the desktop and laptop too. Most of the wireless type of the keyboards are more likely to have such issues. You can see that wired keyboards are often have their own share of issues but it seems like they have so far to be much better alternative in that case. That is what I have learned so far.
Posted by overcast on 08-08-2018
Personally, I don't have any problems with using either of these computer keyboards as long as they serve my needs very well. Although, the environment where these tools are used can be a deciding factor in determining the one that would best serve one's need for it, so it's one of the things that should be considered before choosing one to use.
Posted by Martinsx on 09-19-2018
Wired connection is more reliable than wireless connection. If you are a gamer and you are playing a game that needs quick response, then wireless keyboard is not for you. We also need to consider technical glitches. What if something happen to the connection, etc. So I think it's best to have a wired keyboard. It's more effecient and less complications.
Posted by RhealaineS on 08-09-2018
I will say no to using a wired connection when it comes to playing games. Let me drift away from PC games to console games. Now we have wired pads and wireless pads, wired pads always have partial contact and it spoils in no distant time but with wireless pads, you will have nothing of such problems to worry about.
Posted by Martinsx on 09-19-2018
Everything that is wireless really looks cool and awesome. But for me it is more comfortable using the one with wire. It is lesser to have problems than a wireless.
Posted by MomoStarr16 on 08-10-2018
I think that the prospect of using what someone is used to make use of is the main reason why most people will always choose using wired computer keyboards ahead of wireless ones. But given the chance to use wireless computer keyboards, you are definitely going to change your choice quickly.
Posted by Martinsx on 09-19-2018
The disadvantage that I see using wireless keyboard is you have to replace the battery once it goes out and its a hassle when it happens when you don't have reserved batteries. I'm using wired keyboard and I just always keep the cable organized so my computer table is not cluttered. But I don't say that wireless keyboards are not good. There maybe are instances that wireless keyboard is more convenient to use.
Posted by vhinz on 08-12-2018
Yes, some people find wireless keyboards better because of the less-clutter feature it comes with. But you are right, and if you are a cheapskate like me, you'll opt for the wired one. It doesn't need batteries, and its replacement is a cheaper option.
Posted by NerdIndeed on 10-17-2018
I'm still going for wired when it comes to PC keyboards because I don't have to worry about getting new batteries also if you're a gamer or who's always typing data then having a wireless keyboard is really not to your advantage.
Posted by Kakashi2020 on 08-14-2018
I guess I am more comfortable using a wireless keyboard since I don't have to worry about pulling a wire whenever I want to adjust my keyboard to a more comfortable position. Worrying about wires getting tangled is just the same as worrying about changing the batteries of a wireless keyboard. So it really is just dependent on the user preference on which to use.
Posted by mdayrit on 08-15-2018
Wireless keyboard is the new invention and upgrade toe the wired keyboard apart from the price as compared to the wired keyboard, it is comfortable to use, convenient and easy to use as compared with the wire keyboard. Also with the wired keyboard it helps the user to be able to reduce some of the discomfort of using the wired keyboard, such as back pains and wrist pains.
Posted by Kwesi on 08-24-2018
But the wireless is more prominent to have a problem. Especially the delay with the actions you have type. But you are right, its comfortable is more than good with a wired keyboard.
Posted by MomoStarr16 on 08-28-2018
I think wired keyboard works better for me. I used to have a wireless keyboard. It was great but for some reason, it did not last long. Wired keyboard is still working fine until now. It is more durable and very easy to use. You might find convenience in using a wireless keyboard because you can place the keyboard on your lap without worrying about the connection but I would still prefer wired keyboard since it is cheaper and low maintenance.
Posted by superlicca on 08-28-2018
I rarely use our desktop computer nowadays so this isn't really an issue for me. I have my laptop for portability and if I need to use the desktop, I have no choice but to work with the keyboard on the table. Hence, it doesn't have much difference for me whether they keyboard is wired or wireless. Wired keyboard presents less problems for me and it is more durable than the wireless type besides being cheaper.
Posted by chatbox on 08-30-2018
Wired keyboard are more durable compare to wireless. I did use a wireless keyboard once and it only last for a month. I went for a wired keyboard after that and I am been using it for half a year now. Wireless keyboards are also pricey and I think its just not worth my money.

Wireless is always better, because wireless less looks clean than with the wire, like for example the smartphone and the computer. The smartphone is a lot cleaner than the computer.

Our desktop has a wireless keyboard that I bought for $5 in a Chinese electronic store. It is running okay for several years now. But compared to the wired keyboard, the wireless keyboard is slower and sometimes laggy maybe because of the interference in the signal. If you are typing with the touch system then you will feel the slowdown of the wireless keyboard. But it is just fine if you are slow in typing.

For desktop I will choose wired keyboard, because wireless keyboard have battery, so it has limited time only. Unlike wired keyboard since it's a desktop you can just live it there without thinking of its battery and also the desktop has a fixed place.

+1 to this and this actually makes sense. You are right, why will you ever need a wireless one if your desktop doesn't even move from where you are, right?

Actually I have not tried the wireless keyboard so I would go to wired keyboard and its more cheaper than the wireless keyboard. I am very practical when it comes to that matter so even if the wireless keyboard is more comfortable to use, I will still choose wired, they may be differ yet they have the same purpose so I guess its not how comfortable you are is the reason.

I go for wired keyboard. Though i haven't tried using the wireless keyboard yet but based to your experienced using it does not really encouraging me to try one. They said its more pricy to wired one and it wont last for a month or two. Our wired keyboard is still working and in cased this keyboard I have surrendered, I would still stick to wired keyboard

As a gamer myself I will pick a wired gaming keyboard over a cordless keyboard in light of the fact that wired gadgets don't present the same number of any delay as remote ones, and that is critical when exactness is vital. Besides, adjacent obstruction can make the keyboard developments uneven or even totally stop the keyboard until the point when it's revised, and that is the exact opposite thing anybody needs to occur particularly for a gamer.

Though I voted for wired keyboard. I still have to commend wireless keyboards for serving people in special cases. Whether what is available, I'll still use it and be thankful of how technology has helped us over the years. People have come a long way with different upgrades of the technology. I'm excited what future has in store for us and for the future generation.

These have both good but I prefer the wireless keyboard because it is better to use for me personally. Sometimes wired keyboard makes annoying to me. Wireless keyboard could also removable and could carry wherever you want to go.

I would vouch for wired keyboards just because of their sheer advantages. They can be hooked onto anywhere and operated with ease. There will be connectivity issues with wireless keyboards all the time and also it would make people lazy. I agree that technology advancement has made our lives simpler, but accepting everything is just not right. Wired keyboards do not need to be configured and are more durable than their wireless counterparts.
