Xbox One

Xbox One
Xbox One is the latest console from Microsoft. With this console they really did excel themselves and turn this console into more than just a gaming console, I suppose you can now class this console as being a huge entertainment hub of sorts with the ability to plug your television box into the back of the console. Failing that you can also now hook up another console into the back giving you an extra HDMI port through the Xbox One.

Pros
  1. Backwards compatibility is coming to most games now meaning you can now place your Xbox 360 away and have more space for your Xbox One.
  2. Microsoft recently announced the addition of offering refunds for digital downloads so if you are unhappy with your purchase and you haven't played for over 2 hours you can simply go for a refund
  3. Voice command is an option with Xbox One, find it easier to talk than type with your controller? Just use Kinect or your headset and ask Cortana.
  4. Has exclusive games such as Halo, Gears of War.

Cons
  1. Has been known to be more expensive than the Playstation 4
  2. Larger in size compared to the Playstation 4 unless you opt to pay more for the Xbox One S

Xbox One all the way

I have always been very big fan of the xbox console. I recently ordered the xbox one and not just about the size but also I ordered the Xbox one s which is due to arrive tomorrow so cant wait... The xbox one s is 40% smaller . How cool is that ... I can't wait to try it out... Not saying ps4 isn't good but xbox I do feel more for me for the handling controller wise .

Playstation 4

Playstation 4
Playstation 4 is Sony's latest console to hit the market. Whilst this console is pretty good I wouldn't say you could call it much of an entertainment hub like you can the Xbox One. This console is a lot smaller compared to the Xbox One (unless of course you are willing to spend more on the Xbox One S) so therefore if you have very little space this console would probably be better for you.

Pros
  1. Has it's own exclusives just like Xbox One
  2. Is smaller than the Xbox One saving you more space if you do not have a lot of space

Cons
  1. Main dashboard is a little more complicated compared to the Xbox One home
  2. Not really an entertainment hub therefore you would need the HDMI ports on your television for extra consoles or even a television set top box.

PS4 FTW!

Well if you ask me I think the PS4 is better but only because I have more friends on PSN than I do on Xbox. There isn't as many games as there is on Xbox but if you have PSN+ you can get new games to play on it all the time and the games that are out on it that I like playing are out on most consoles with the exception of some that are made for the PlayStation only. But I much prefer the PlayStation console and the Dashboard as well. I find it much easier and nicer to navigate as opposed to the Xbox Dashboard which is just clunky and cumbersome and they've updated it loads but it's still not as smooth and quick to use as the PlayStation Dashboard. And I much prefer the PlayStation controller as well. It's smaller and lighter and with the swipe pad lets you do things on it that you can't on the Xbox controller and the speaker it has on it puts you into the game a little more with sound effects coming from it from the game and that. So yeah, I prefer the PS4 really. :)

Only 4 graphics

I play games on PC, my rig runs on Intel Core i7-6700K Processor with GeForce GTX 980 Ti in it. But when I can only get on consoles, such as Uncharted 4, fallout 4 and Elite Dangerous on release date. A year ago, I bought Assassin's Creed Black Flag and Battlefield 4 on PS4, mostly because the games for PC platform releases after Xbox and PS platforms. Then I borrowed a friend's copy on the Xbox one, to compare quality. After all the installing and updating, the Xbox one version looked much the same, but the frame rate wasn't as good as PS4. For me, the frame rate is the most important graphical features. And The PS4 has better graphics. Xbox one reportedly had connectivity issues. Also, the Apps like YouTube and Netflix have some more bugs.

Much love for ps4

I have to pick PS4. I own one and it is absolutely amazing. It works so well and fast. Literally had no problems so far. Besides that, it is cheaper than Xbox one and far more popular here so it is easier to get cheaper games.

It has way more exclusives and all the good ones like Bloodborne, Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Last of Us and so on.

Lastly, PS4 has a better controller. It fits hand better and it doesn't tire it as much.

PS4 all the way.

I have been on both sides of the spectrum having owned a xbox one and ps4, and I can confidently say ps4 is better. The main reason for me that makes ps4 better, is that the ps4 has an extremely better line of exclusives that have came out and are coming out.

Playstation all the way

I've always been with the playstation platform ever since I was a child. From the PS1 to PS3 no skips even the PSP to PS Go haven't gotten a Vita, YET. Why wouldn't I go with the PS4, I've always prefer the PS controllers over the Xbox controllers cause of its simplicity and comfortable feel in the hand.

PS4

I'm a Play Station fan and own a PS1, 2, 3 and 4. I have a friend with Xbox One. Whenever we play at his house, you can see the difference with the graphics, and the controller is kinda weird. The PS controller is the most common style, Xbox changed theirs just to be different. I like their Kinect though. But PS4 still takes the win.

Neither! I'm not saying video games are not fun, but overall they waste so much time! The time you can use improving yourself and why not, make more money! I agree that from time to time you need to learn to relax and smell the roses a little, but I prefer going out in nature, enjoying the outdoors or going to the sea to have a swim. I spend a lot of time in front of a monitor every day and somehow I can really do that all over again in my free time playing PS or Xbox. Don't get me wrong, I still play some PC games from time to time, old games that I still enjoy. But PS and Xbox are beyond my commitment.
